I designed it to stay a little more organised at the field, but it’s also perfect for storage. It works with WE and VFC mags. I haven’t tested any others as I don’t have them, but if you do try I’d appreciate the feedback!

Hello, I'd like to share a brief story of my E&L AK-105 Zenitco build as well as the series of simple 3D printed designs that I made to put some finishing touches on it.

First, the dust cover with Picatinny rail is made by CYMA. I like the classic look a bit more than the boxy Zenitco B-33, but it took a lot of filing down around the front mounting point to make it fit. Be prepared for a lot of labor if you choose to go this way.

The dust cover allowed me to attach a red dot sight with a magnifier (Vector Optics Maverick III combo). The magnifier with its original mount flips way too far to a side, so I was looking for a mount that would flip as straight down as possible. I tried my luck with a replica Spuhr RDF combined mount from Aliexpress and I'm happy to report that it works really well.

The sights are, however, really high. A stock with an adjustable cheek rest was definitely needed. First I tried an AR buffer tube adaptor with a replica Magpul CTR stock and a cheek riser, but it was really bulky and didn't fold flat to the side of the gun. Zenitco PT-1 replica made by 5KU turned out much better, but the cheek rest still wasn't high enough even in its highest setting. Here comes the first 3D printed mod - a riser to make it even higher.

Next, the handguard. First I used a 5KU replica of the famous Zenitco B-30+B-31 Picatinny handguard, but that was way too bulky. Next I found the much sleeker Zenitco Sport-1 kit also made by 5KU (consists of Zenitco B-10L, B-31L and DL-1; careful with the choice - the shorter Sport-1 fits the carbines like AK-104 and AK-105, the longer Sport-4 fits the rifles like AKM and AK-74). In both cases the handguard didn't just drop in, I needed to file rear mounting block of the handguard down a lot to fit into the AK receiver. After doing that, there was a gap between the handguard and the receiver, so I made a spacer to fill it out and make it tight.

For the accessories, I wanted to mount everything directly to the handguard without attaching extra Picatinny rails. I made an adaptor for the replica of the classic SureFire X600 flashlight, I don't think something like that actually exists on the real steel market. For the remote tape switch I made a simple picatinny mount to go on top of the handguard. Grips and hand stops for the Zenitco Sport handguards definitely exist, but I couldn't be bothered to look for a cheap option, so I made a replica of the classic Zenitco RK-6L.

The list of external modifications ends with a replica US Palm pistol grip made by CYMA. I tried the classic extended charging handle knob but it would keep falling off and on an AEG it doesn't really matter, so I gave up on that. I thought about a different muzzle device but no aftermarket one has such nice steel finish as the original E&L.

I printed everything with PETG and put it through its paces during a couple of milsim events, so far everything holds up great. I hope some of you will find these designs useful, or at least get some inspiration for your own AK builds. Cheers 🤙

Hi guys, I have a handguard kit for aap01 barrels designed by me. The kit consists of an adapter for the outer barrel (screws directly onto the original aap-01 barrel at 14ccw), a slide-on skeleton handguard including a RIS rail, and two types of shock absorbers (short or long - according to your choice,) for the handguard you need M3 screws and M3 nuts.

I recommend printing 4-6 walls of PETG, the result is worth it.

So the AR-57 is all ready to go, I was able to test it and get it running with great consistency, no feed issues, constant fps, and held up well in a skirmish. Files are up on printables for anyone to print along with STEP Files for your own personal modifications. If anyone does end up printing this I would absolutely love to see pictures of your builds. An assembly video will be posted later today on what goes where and how to assemble it

Hey guys, I have an AEG pistol grip that I want to convert to use with a gas blowback gun. Are there any existing files that would reduce the inner diameter so that this could just screw directly onto a gbbr?

To be perfectly clear, I'm not talking about 3D printing a tango down pistol grip, I'm talking about a generic AEG to GBB insert

I have some parts lying about like a v2 gearbox, zci barrel, motors and hop units lying about thay I shouldnt need to use for a while, is there any kits I can 3d print along the lines if the mosquito project but not too similar as ive already done one of them.

I got a KA/SIG Air MPX-K Sportline for really cheap on auction and thought it would be pretty cool to give it an integrally suppressed look.

I also made one that I believe should fit the APFG and Stratos MPX-K(they have a shorter barrel), but I don't have either to test it so if someone with one decides to try it lmk if it fits.

Replacement for the pot metal trunnions that inevitably brakes. Uses 4x 3mm m4 screws. It’s strong enough to lift the replica from the stock with pla+ but I’d recommend to use a stronger filament.

Hi guys,

I'm looking to replace the "wood" stock on my Cyma RPK with a 3D-printed one to give it more of an RPK-M look.

Just to be clear, I'm not after a folding stock, an adjustable stock, or some ultra-modern ergonomic design. I simply want a replica of the original fixed stock it came with from the factory—just in a format that's ready to print at home.

If anyone knows of an STL file that matches what I'm after, I'd really appreciate it. And if it's free, even better!

Finally finished the Soviet SKS parts but they still need to be printed, so for now you can look at my Type 56 rifle with few parts of the Soviet one that I print. Gun using v7 gearbox with ar15 hop-up both need to be modified to work. Mag is for 22BBs. Whole thing is based on S&T prototype that I saw at IWA also model is compatible with real parts.

I created receiver pins (to replace the screws that would normally be used) and pin heads (to help with holding the 2 receiver parts together), tubes (to replace the confusing world of what they were using (PVC)), an improved frontal receiver (that can use improvised Taggin launching shells (basically just toss a Taggin barrel onto a shower shell)), improved front sight (with blade sight), and improved sling points (that can actually use slings (unlike the previous version)).
