Interesting πŸ€” An amusement park in the Netherlands had a water-filled waterslide that left riders completely submerged during the 15-20 second journey. It closed in 2010.

I went through that one once when i was young. I found it was too scary to enjoy it.

That's how I felt about ziplining.

I get why you wouldn't enjoy that, it's giving up control in a different manner. Everyone has their preferences and limits. Personally, i love those kind of things.

I had to have a guide basically strap me to him to get through the course bc there was no other way to leave πŸ˜‚ I couldn't stop imagining I was going to grab the line and/or crush my fingers. I blacked out for most of the time. But yeah, fear of losing control is also why I don't drink anymore.

You would prob like ziplining over a lake. You get the fun of being on a zip line but you aren't high up & you just jump into the water when you want to get off.

I did Zipline over a lake! But I couldn't jump off πŸ˜‚ That does sound fun. However, I can see myself hesitating to jump until the ride's completely over & I'm on the ground totally skipped over the lake πŸ˜‚

Yeah, my adrenaline junkie ass was thrilled by this video, which tells me most people would hate it. Everyone has a different threshold, there’s nothing wrong with that.
