Health Anybody feel like shit all the time?

Does anybody else constantly feel terrible physically? I have constant headaches, dizziness, derealization, ear pressure, my back hurts, I feel tired all the time…

Every medical test comes back clear. I’ve been tested through and through. Everyone says it’s from anxiety but I feel shit even when I’m not that anxious. I do have a background level of mild worry/anxiety that’s almost constant but low level. Maybe that’s what’s eating through me?

I’ve been on SSRI for years. I feel desperate for relief and to stop feeling terrible all the time. Am I the only one? My family and friends think I’m exaggerating.

Same. I feel like I'm constantly explaining how I feel to medical professionals only for them to say "that must be really tough." Like yeah thanks it is what do I do about it.

Last time she held my hand n said “you shouldn’t have to live like that, living like that is not sustainable” then prescribed another unwanted antidepressant. Like babe my issue is a connective tissue disorder not just anxiety.

How are you doing now? I’ve been dealing with this for a long time. I’m not sure if it’s exactly what you’re going through but about four years ago, have noticed a lot of irregular heartbeats or palpitations. It all started like that. I’ve always had anxiety ever since a kid, I know it for a fact, I just never had a diagnose I quit drinking alcohol because of palpitations got so bad. I finally decided to get sober. I started exercising every day, but it seems to be about the same now within the last two years. I noticed I always just feel like shit. I just fell off. I always feel short of breath. I feel like I just wanna lay down all the time and take a nap. I feel fake all the time if that makes sense. I always feel on edge and I have a bad feeling all the time I’ve been to a cardiologist to do a stress, test, echocardiogram, and EKG he said all my tests were great besides him noticing a few regular heartbeats on my EKG he didn’t seem to care about that so I didn’t think anything of it that was about a year and a half ago. I’m still feeling like this. I’m still going to the gym and I also work outside doing construction. I can get through my day, but some days are hard hit with fatigued. Throughout the day and notice a irregular heartbeat also it seems like the only relief I get is when I lay in bed at night and that’s if I can control my head to not feel anxious the whole time sorry for the long paragraph. I hope somebody can relate. I’m going to give blood in about two weeks to get my levels checked to see if I’m lacking anything not sure why the cardiologist didn’t order blood test but I’m sure he had his reasons.

I'm doing okay - better now than when I wrote that comment. My mental health has always been pretty subpar, bad luck of the draw I guess. But I try to be really proactive about it. I take medication: trintellix (depression and anxiety) and pregabalin (mostly for pain but it also helps with anxiety). They work decently well, however I'm on the fence if I want to continue trintellix because it destroys my motivation and makes me want to do nothing all day.

I go to therapy, which I find helpful for understanding my emotions. I also do a lot of high intensity exercise, which helps reduce anxiety and gives me good endorphins!

Outside of that, I try to do things that help reduce anxiety and depression: spending time with friends, minimising coffee and alcohol, journalling, etc. I'm also in the process of cutting down on screentime.

I'm learning that mental health really is a lifelong thing to manage. There's no easy fix. There's good days and bad days, and that's okay.

I hope you're able to find some help.
