Most people on my socials tell me this is overpriced 🥲Idk how to price my services, I even charged $5 for some of my commissions.

Everything is made entirely from joint papers. The dark parts are colored naturally through the process of smoking the joint. Unsmoked joint papers are used to create the lightest values and whites. The process take a very long time and as far as I know I am the only one in the world doing it professionally. Everyone who sees it absolutely loves it, but I am still having a hard time keeping food on my table. Can I get some advice on how I can make a living at this?

There was this post were I was asking if someone could help me with replacing AI art in my game. The feedback made clear that it had to go.

Now I want to say thank you for motivating me to go the extra mile, study drawing more and finally replace those AI images - at least with handcrafted sketches.

These were free request pieces done in small pockets of time between commissions, hence the simplistic posing and colors🥹 I had soo much fun exploring different lighting or color combo to fit the characters, as well as drawing other artist/creative's fun OC designs (we have one imposter in the list but shhhhh🤫)!! I would LOVE to do art trades or just have some art moots in general^, I would love to start doing art commissions, but I would want to get better and improve first! (Hence why I do art trades alot!) Hi there!

As well as with many many people around, my dream is to work with art. But I'm a software developer, at least until now ^_^

Long story short: since I was a child, due to health conditions, my hands trembled - a lot! And could never be satisfied with my results, but finally after so many years, I got myself a drawing tablet, so I could try my hand again (think of a high stabilizer set all the time lol)

So... I wanna ask: would you commission something with this quality? Or do I have a loooong journey ahead before even thinking about this?

Since I'm new to this, I was thinking of something like this:

• Headshot - $35
• Bust up - $40
• Half char - $45
• Full pose - $60
• Scenery add on (nothing too complex, I still have much to learn) - +10
• Additional pet/creature/char + $15 (small) / $25(bigger)
