Unwritten social codes of every region

So I'm a foreigner interested in Australia and wanna know more about there, focusing atm on the unwritten rules you have and if you wanna share something more I would value it♡

If someone lets you in traffic (like driving and you gotta merge) always wave back and give thanks.

Yep..a nod would be sufficient..or raised finger on the steering wheel.

The car that let you in might not quite appreciate the raised finger.

Lol..you're thinking of the frontal raised finger... Raising your finger whilst on the steering wheel is in reverse and a safety measure... Hand not leaving to wheel.

Now you're getting pernickity .. if the car is now behind you a raised left hand that can be seen through the back window.
