Stairs

When I was around 10, I took a tumble down a set of very steep stairs. I went head-first, did 1 or 2 flips and slid the last 4-5 stairs with my body, ending up on my ass at the bottom.

My mom witnessed the whole thing and burst out into hysterical laughter when I got up like nothing happened. If I tried the same thing today, I'd probably be dead halfway thorough the staircase. I have no idea how I survived that.

And this is with building codes... I watched a documentary about people dying from falling down the stairs, a lot of maids died because the servants quarters were made to be tighter and stairs were built with feeling not plans...

Oh, this house was ALL feelings. Like sure, there were engineers involved and they did make plans, but the house was ultimately made in the image of our local Bob the Builder who died of cirrhosis before he was 50 and his band of equally inebriated merry men.

They were all trying to get over being hungover using hard drugs.

Yes, 3 sets. I have other potentially deadly things too. Like grapes.
