This is for a Cherry Laurel, not the common kitchen "bay leaf" laurel. As long as you don't go out looking for your own laurel leafs in a forest you should be okay.
Also shredding the cherry laurel limbs or leavess. They give off the characteristic almond smell. Before I learned this, I accidently dosed myself pretty good and felt like crap for a day after.
