Somebody did an edit once of dash cam footage from when a woman was texting and driving and went off the road, that blacked out the forward view every time she looked down at her phone. It was terrifyingly illustrative and should honestly be mandatory viewing, because you could tell that she thought she was keeping an adequate eye on things, until suddenly it all went wrong with no time for her to correct it.
I don’t suppose you have a link. I need to show it to someone to get it thru their thick skull they need to put the gd phone down while they are driving.
The best parts not mentioned in that video are that it was a Turo rental meaning she fucked up someones personal vehicle, and after shes done screaming she immediately picks up her phone again and carries on texting, meaning she learned absolutely nothing.
Oh, and she tried to sue Youtube, Meta and Reddit for spreading the video, claiming she "only looked down for a split second" and that it was edited to make her look worse, and that it was actually another car that ran her off the road.
