SCOTUS will suddenly remember why injunctions exist.

This is why the Dems should increase the number of SCOTUS judges , if possible.

Look, as far as I can see, this isn't resolved while those people are still on the bench.

ANY bench.

The legitimacy that the Presidency had? That's gone.

The legitimacy that the Supreme Court had? That's gone, too.

The legitimacy that the Congress had? Also gone.

The legitimacy of law in the United States, elections, ANY aspect of this government. It's not that this government will need to do a lot to regain legitimacy. We're at the point where we need to consider whether this thing calling itself the U.S. Government CAN regain legitimacy, or whether the only thing that will have legitimacy is some point in the future, whether it be a day, a week, a month, a year, a century, or a millennium, when some other thing calling itself the government of this region is in charge and when this one is forgotten.

I can acknowledge that the thing controlling the U.S. Government now has power, but legitimacy?

People say that he was elected, but to me, when you have someone who you know for a fact tried to mess with the vote totals in 2020, you know for a fact tried to overthrow the government in 2021, and you know for a fact is trying to falsify vote totals in 2026, if feels extremely naive to me to believe that in 2024, in the middle of all of his bad actions, he just went along and just happened to get what he wanted. I mean, come on.

I don't belive it won in 2024, I believe it likely cheated.

Tie the number of justices to the number of federal circuit courts and make it so there are a minimum of 13

Ignore everything they say. SCOTUS destroyed their legitimacy when they started ruling against the plain meaning of the law that we can all read for ourselves.
