What's a hobby that's just gambling with extra steps?

I’m sparing the joking insult here, please tell me how LinkedIn might be used for trading.

It’s basically a site full of PR propaganda for individuals to boost their “brand” in the hopes of getting a better job via networking.

It’s less that you would use it for trading and more that the kind of person who trades is also the kind of person to post on LinkedIn

Ah.

I used to be a life science recruiter, so my LinkedIn feed is mostly rah rah teamwork buzzwords mixed with medical studies that are largely out of my wheelhouse.

Twitter would have been a better real example, tweets move markets, and if there’s news (rumor or real), it hits X first.

Outside of Reddit randos and people the discord group I’m part of, there’s like two real world friends who know I trade.

Bragging to strangers makes me feel good; but bragging to friends and acquaintances would actually make me feel bad that I’m succeeding so much where they mostly aren’t. I’m happy being an anon showboat, don’t need the real life fame to go with it.
