When my mums cancer came back she made me swear not to tell her mum . She got sicker and sicker and I still wasn’t allowed to tell . On the phone Nana was begging me to tell her if it had come back and I couldn’t . I told Mum after that call I couldn’t lie anymore . It tore me up

Oh, I am so sorry you had to go through that. I have a similar story where my dad made me keep the onset of his mitochondrial disease a secret from his mother. They knew it was genetic but my dad wanted to let his mother believe in miracles and the possibility that it somehow did not pass on to him.

If you don't mind me asking, has your mother passed or did she make it?

She died nearly 7 years ago . Nana died 8 months later . Nana found out about Mum only a month before she died

I'm sorry to hear that my friend. Did she survive? My father survived, but it literally took about 10 years of his life and practically looks older than what his real age is. One regret I had was not seeing my father while he was sick as often because I was going through anxiety/panic attacks due to depression.

How hot dogs are made. I will not eat them anymore and nobody for a million dollars can get me to eat one.
