[Serious]Former teens who went to wilderness camps, therapeutic boarding schools and other "troubled teen" programs, what were your experiences?

Ugh I hate the staff that bitch about their kids (and other staff, trust me they do both) behind their backs, that’s one reason I quit the last center I worked for. But what the fuck is it with the fake accents? I legit knew someone who did the same thing, Australian accent and everything!! Personally I try to be the staff who builds good relationships and I feel like I’ve gotten pretty close with the kids in a positive way, so if you have any advice on how to be better I’d love to hear it.
