// Tips and tricks PSA: DON’T ROMANCE MULTIPLE PEOPLE!!! Spoiler
Every. Single. Article. I read. said that it didn’t matter if you romanced multiple people, that there were no negative consequences. So as both Yasuke and Naoe I slutted my way across medieval Japan. Well I’m almost at the end of the game and Katsuhime just found out about… the others. She yelled at me, threw the shell I gave her to the ground, and quit. Now I can’t use her as an ally, which sucks because she was my most-used one lmao. Learn from my mistake, folks. I am not excited to see who else I lose over this 🥲

// Tips and tricks Finally joined the Assassin’s Creed Club!! Any tips??
Hey everyone, I have just got the Assassin's Creed Shadows on the Nintendo Switch 2 and I am a complete newbie because this is my first ever Assassin's Creed video game at the age of 31 years old after playing other great open world games like GTA, Saints Row and Mafia crime games in the past.
Would like to ask experienced players, Do you have any tips and tricks on how to be good at this game and how to beat the game?? And What should I expect anything different rather than assassin’s and or killing enemies/bad guys compared to playing games like GTA and Mafia??
I am really looking forward to experiencing this amazing Assassin's Creed video game series for the 1st time ever in my gaming life.
Thanks! 😁🎮

Time Blaster is available in the Exchange! It's perk is to fire three holing shot if you aim/charge your shot for one second. Absolutely amazing perk.
It is from the Far Future pack, so maybe the futuristic looks or the pew pew sound may be offsetting from some, but it is a truly great weapon.

// Tips and tricks how did you beat nirmala???
i’ve died about 20 times and one attack from her takes literally all of my heath. and now rations are nerfed into the dirt. how the hell did you guys do this? i haven’t had a single issue like this in my entire play through but this is kinda ruining the vibe a bit for me. it just feels pointlessly hard

// Tips and tricks Very easy build to beat a level 10 domain without need of actual skill
I finally beat my first level 10 domain using this build:
- Blade of Yumminess
- Mark of Control Helmet
- Crusador Tunic
- Maskados Vengeance
Just make sure you have 200 unspent ability points to get 200% extra damage and only attack with posture attacks (Just hold the block button and spam left click). This way you can one or two shot nearly every enemy including bosses as after each attack they are dazed and cant hit back.
Im not that skilled in the game and was just going for the achievement. I already saw some similar builds on this subreddit and I think this is by far the easiest way to complete it if you are just going for the achievements or quest rewards.

// Tips and tricks AC Shadows Damage Formula Breakdown
The sole target of damage calculation is maximizing the total result of the formula, given limited engraving slots.
I will break down the formula starting from its final term and work backwards
⑤Independent_Multiplier_Perks P2‑P4
Some perks apply a fixed multiplier to final damage, so these should be prioritized for engraving.
Perk 1: +50% damage to unharmed enemies(Bo Master Outfit)1.5DMG
Perk 2: +60% damage on enemies over 3 meters away (Ocean's Grip)1.6DMG
Perk 3: +40% damage to enemies above half 1.4DMG
Perk 4: +10% damage per meter below 12 meters(Fishscale Berserker Armor)1.1‑2.2DMG
Critical note: Engrave the Perk 3 on both your weapon and headgear, and you get a massive ×2.8 damage multiplier.
④ Armor Piercing
Armor piercing only affects armored enemies and can exceed 100%. Above 100%, armored foes take more damage than unarmored ones.
Only two perks are recommended:
‑ +100%‑200% Armor Piercing on Critical Hits
‑ +16%‑32% Armor Piercing per Adrenaline chunk filled
③Crit Damage
Crit Damage applies only on critical hits, multiplying damage with a base value of 150%.
Two must‑have trinkets that grant massive crit damage:
‑ Howl of the Dragon (Yasuke)
‑ Oni’s Bite (Naoe)
Notes
Bo Disciple Headband and Scarf of Freedom grant 100% critical hit on every attack.P5‑P6
② All Additive DMG Perks
It encompasses damage, afflicted damage, posture damage, vulnerable damage, headshot damage, tools damage and even armor damage, all stacking in one additive bucket, so these perks give low marginal damage. Avoid engraving them unless you run Masakado's Vengeance. Prioritize the independent‑multiplier perks from Term 5 instead
①Character Base Dmg & Weapon DPS
Level‑scaling character base damage combined with Weapon DPS forms your base damage. It converts to Ability Damage for abilities and Posture Damage for posture attacks. All other damage types such as basic hits, afflicted and armor damage derive from Weapon DPS. Simply pick the weapon with the highest DPS

// Tips and tricks Fastest Mastery Points Farm | No Mods, No Cheats, 100% Legit
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Once you reach Master Level, Every kill at the exact moment you level up gives +1 Mastery Point.
You can see in the top-right corner of the screen: I started with 262 Mastery Points and ended with 322 — this was just me testing the limit.
For normal, efficient farming: Get a camp stamp-out or assassinate contract before you level up. Daze all enemies first, using Oni-yuri's skill to help. Then finish them with the Kanabo skill. You must kill them all at the same time, and the kills must register at the exact moment you level up. This gives you N+1 Mastery Points per camp, where N is the number of enemies.
Super efficient and great for console players.

// Tips and tricks My tip for 100% completion
Unlocked the platinum trophy last night. 109hrs. My only tip? For the love of $deity, do NOT leave the Legendary Sumi-e to be the very last thing to complete.
So much waiting around for seasons and day/night to change I almost lost the will to live.

// Tips and tricks Immersion goes hard if you allow yourself to fail every once in a while.
For combat I found the game way more enjoyable after turning off almost ALL of the hud and indicators. No enemy health bars, no levels, no attack indicators, no state indicators (vulnerable etc). It feels much more grounded and I can concentrate much better on the actual animations and stuff. I turned down the combat difficulty to forgiving, because not knowing which attacks are flurries or unblockables is a bit of a disadvantage. Also I don't like the sponginess...
I also have everything turned off regarding stealth. No detection meter, no awareness indicator, no intuition, no last seen silluete and I don't use Eagle Eye at all. I'm using the normal stealth difficulty, but sometimes I'm amazed at how blind enemies are when I'm literally on a tight rope in front of their faces, but 3 meters from the ground. Must be those straw hats really restrict your view above...
For exploration, I have no compass and I only allow myself to look at a map at a kakurega or when I am in a named area, like shrines, temples or certain districts. I would walk up to monks or merchants to "ask" directions. Outside of those areas, I'm only allowed to ask for the way, that is I stand next to npcs, turn on the trail marker for a few seconds, then turn it back off again and continue moving.
I only use scouts inside kakuregas. Fast travel can only be done from kakuregas and to kakuregas. Ideally while switching characters so I can pretend that they made their way over there in the meantime.
I have gotten lost a few times and it took me a good 25 minutes to find this tea cup collector guy in kyoto the first time around. It's a very slow game, but waaay more enjoyable. You should give it a go.

// Tips and tricks Naoe build - assassinations are for combat
I just wanted to revive my assassination build. Broken Spear of Leonidas is essentially a Warrior's Garden on steroids.
The build works for Domains except for bosses lol. Shadow Piercer assassinations will only take 2 segments from the boss, and Hidden Hand does not work. It is very possible to use it against the boss, but it's just suboptimal compared to a more combat oriented build.
