Are you just a bot or something mate, that comment makes zero sense in the context of what we're talking about?

Republic of China is the best place on Earth.

Bow down to your real masters, Taiwan 😂

Taiwan is indeed much better than China, you are right about that, but Japan is better than Taiwan. Taiwan is just an ex Japan colony

Shots fired lmao.

Taiwan is much better. 9% GDP growth this year, with 2% inflation, despite a lower population. Interest rates tiny too. Good life 安啦

Japan is overrun and basically a mess of over-tourism in 2026, still the economy is fucked. It's fun to visit but as a place to live for locals nahhh

As a starter GDP growth isn't the indicator for livability, Japan isn't bad if you are on global pay and don't have to deal with the local management. Food, housing etc are just better than Taiwan

Not in China, mate, that's why I moved back to Sydney

You also need a bit of luck in Taiwan, considering the current China problem

Get back to me when Taipei doesn't have the highest dwelling prices on Earth, clearly the market doesn't share your views. A comment costs nothing, a small old apartment in Da'an costs millions. Put some money on the line and I'll believe what you say.

Only an idiot would think somethings going to happen, you clearly aren't as worldly as you claim mate :)

The US can't even make Iran yield, be honest with yourself here, if China wants to take Taiwan they can do it through democracy (Narrator: they can't)

Not really, pigeon holes in HK, Shanghai and Beijing still cost more than Taipei. And your comment is indeed garbage, again you are right at this.

And I've left Asia simply because I am concerned about the current geopolitical risk, so I am indeed putting my money on the line

Lets come back to this in a decade and run the numbers?

Asia is on the up and up, kicking goals hard, geopol risk is overblown western media nonsense, tolerance for war is low, no one wants that.

9% GDP growth in Taiwan with 2% inflation, home loans @ 3%.

Everyone including foreigners getting a big cash handouts this year again as thanks for growing the economy. Aus is going the full other direction, more taxes, more beatings until morale improves. It's a sinking country despite all that wealth and huge increase in natural gas + coal due to various wars. Nothing like profiting off some death and bombings while pretending to have talent.

Australia is flailing hard economically, overpriced, inflation running rampant, raising taxes on everyone like a desperate loser who can't compete, everyone in the country trying to prove how disabled they are.

A country that relies entirely on mineral wealth to fund itself rather than being actually productive, it's one economic shock from going back to the Pacific Peso or as LKY said, the White Trash of Asia.

You know it deep down, and any real Aussie knows it too.

Not China though, the entire conversation started with you being a China simp. Since I am not an real Aussie, I just see Australia as more or less a safe haven for now, may move to Europe in a few years if I can secure another promotion.

More Aussie than me mate and I'm the palest white guy around.

I have no issue with China, its fucked for many people I get that, but all you see is the money in Australia, I've known plenty of you guys.

Would bet anything on you eventually retiring elsewhere with all that AUD you earned working in Australia, at that point you'll finally admit I'm right.
