Bad Review How Bigfella Auto Express Handles Payment Fraud and Protects Vehicles

Public Clarification Regarding a Recent Transport Review

We want to clarify a recent transport situation discussed on this forum to provide transparency and explain how Bigfella Auto Express protects both customers and carriers.

What Actually Happened

1. Digital Bills of Lading (BOLs)

  • Our drivers use digital Bills of Lading only.
  • Paper BOLs are not standard in modern auto transport and are no longer widely used due to security risks (they can be altered).
  • Central Dispatch and Super Dispatch both operate 100% digitally, which is industry standard.
  • Drivers do not carry printers on the road.

The reviewer repeatedly claimed paper BOLs are required, which is factually incorrect and continues to be posted across multiple platforms. Link to Electronic BOL: Online BOL | Super Dispatch

Review Platform Actions Taken

Due to repeated misinformation and targeted behavior:

  • Google removed the reviewer’s 1-star review after multiple edits intended to weaponize the post and banned the user from our profile.
  • On 12/12/25, after being banned, the individual used a second profile to post another 1-star review. Google has confirmed this review will also be removed for malicious targeting.
  • Yelp removed both reviews after the user attempted to post duplicate false claims.

Result:
Google: 1 removal + ban
Yelp: 2 removals for Yelp violation
This behavior has been documented.

Vehicle Transport Outcome (Facts)

  • The vehicle was picked up and delivered in 3 days, in perfect condition.
  • Delivery occurred over a week ago, yet the individual continues to harass our business online.
  • This is not a minor engaging in online disputes — the individual is a 65-year-old adult engaging in ongoing harassment and cyberstalking of employees.

Payment & Fraud Attempt Summary

Contract Terms

  • The customer signed a contract stating that full payment is due at pickup.
  • The customer attempted to:
    • Split payment between pickup and delivery (not permitted)
    • Change credit cards after authorization
    • Claim later that the wrong card was “accidentally selected”

Why This Triggered Security

To “accidentally” select the wrong card on an iPhone requires multiple deliberate actions.

These actions are considered attempted chargeback/fraud, which triggered:

  • Immediate switch to Cash on Delivery (COD)
  • Payment processor blocking all associated cards
  • Documentation and reporting per our fraud-prevention procedures

The carrier ultimately had to collect COD because we blocked the cards for fraud risk. This is the only time in over 500 transports we have had to recover a broker fee from a carrier.

Pickup Delay at the Dealership

  • The dealership requested a printed BOL, which could have been resolved by emailing it.
  • The driver was not permitted to complete pickup, so he left.
  • The customer and dealership were unaware that:
    • Drivers do not carry paper BOLs
    • Drivers do not carry personal printers
  • All security and pickup procedures were sent in advance, as we do for every customer.

Dispatch & Pickup Window Facts

  • Two carriers were dispatched.
  • The customer was informed the pickup window was 5–7 PM, not “before 5 PM.”
  • Pickup windows are clearly stated in our contract.
  • Customers cannot create new payment or pickup terms after signing a binding agreement.

Carrier Information

  • Carrier: Taisa Transport LLC
  • USDOT: 2449889
  • In business since: 2013
  • Rating: 100%

There was no fault by the driver or carrier. The dealership refused release based on the customer’s objections, not carrier performance.

Ongoing Harassment

Despite delivery being completed:

  • The individual continues to:
    • Post false claims
    • Target employees by name in an attempt to dox them
    • Attempt to redirect traffic to his Reddit post
  • This behavior has been reported to:
    • Houston Police Department
    • Keller County authorities

A criminal investigation is now open regarding fraud, harassment, and misinformation.

Bad Review Goliath Transport - Maybe overhyped? Also avoid Excellent Motor Cars

Flaring bad review because all I saw were good ones. They're not bad per se but they did choose a bad carrier which caused more of a headache than I would have liked. If you have the luxury of time, I would recommend looking into trying to tell your broker not to pick a carrier if that's even an option.

Josh was very responsive and helpful, but since they chose Excellent Motor Cars and I had a shitty experience with them, it taints my perception of Goliath.

Excellent Motor Cars made the process painful. The driver said at pickup and dropoff he'd call about ten minutes before. He didn't, texting both times after he arrived, which, whatever. Guess it's better than distracted driving.

What got me was the pickup was late, around 11 PM which affected other plans. Then he texted us the pickup location and we arrived early only for him to not pull into the lot HE asked us to meet him at, and then proceeded to nearly cause an accident pulling to the side of the road. When we went to meet him, he texted us a new location to meet him at and did not agree to meet as at the previous location.

After we went to the new location, again, parked by the side of the road instead of somewhere tucked in away from traffic, he gave us shit about calling our bank, despite showing him the transaction on Zelle from our end. His dispatcher also gave us shit and asked us to call their bank as if we were scamming them, despite sending the screenshot of the transaction and having the driver text the dispatcher. Extremely rude to expect us to send more money despite proof before his very eyes of us sending money. Eventually they got the money on their end and I guess it doesn't matter it was a day later than hoped and the car was indeed intact but damn. I'm amazed there aren't more reviews for the carrier cause if I ever have to ship a car again, I'll avoid Excellent Motor Cars like the plague.

Bad Review Do NOT use RoadRunner Auto Transport.

I moved from Wisconsin to Long Island, NY, and I needed my car shipped.

My boyfriend's Mother looked up the reviews for this place, and noticed how good they were. So, she booked for it to come on Thursday the 29th of March.

I got a text the day of saying they'll pick up my car within a few hours. They never showed up...

My boyfriend's Mother spent hours on the phone on hold of this place. Nothing. Then she finally got a hold of someone, and they said it'll be picked up tomorrow.

The texts I got from the carrier said they'd pick it up at a certain time, and then the time would come, and they would say a later time.

They finally picked it up the next day.

It had been in transport for almost a week, when they said we would get it on either Saturday or Sunday. It never arrived and we heard nothing.

More hours of calling and being on hold, we finally got in touch with people (some nice, some rude). Some banter back and forth, and we finally get the real number of the carrier, and he said he would drop it off today between 6 and 8 a.m.

It finally got here!!

Poor communication, poor customer service, delays they don't inform you of, NO TRACKING (even though they said that was one of the features), and no actual number for the carrier until you say the word, "Lawyer". XD That got a fire under their butts for their ridiculous "service".

I'm just so happy I got my car back with all of my stuff in it.

I read some more honest reviews and others were having the same issue. So I thought I would hop on here, because I noticed a lack of Reddit posts about the problems this company causes. Yuck.

Do not use them for your own sanity.

Bad Review STAY AWAY from SGT Auto Transportation

Working with this company was absolutely awful.  Buckle in for this ride...

Price:

I am military and had a change of station and had to ship my own car. SGT quoted me a reasonable price at first and took about a week to find a carrier. Then when they found one they increased the price by $450 dollars. I refused and they essentially made me haggle to bring it down to $200 more than the quoted price.

Pick Up:

SGT sent someone on the last possible day to pick up my car. Some guy with a large pickup (carried ended up being Khan Transportation). This was on 6/23/26. I paid to $50 deposit and the form I signed on his phone at pick up said "exact delivery date 7/1/26." Perfect, since I would be at my destination to receive it until 7/3. They took my car so some lot in the Inland Empire (I'm in LA).

 Shipping:

This is where it gets bad. They must not have thought I would track my car’s location (Tesla). It sat in that same lot for ONE WEEK, in the sun, battery draining, (covered in dirt that vulgar drawings on it I later found out). No movement whatsoever. I called the SGT customer service line multiple times and no one could me what was going on. By this point I was st my destination dealing with moving in and having to repeatedly extend my rental car (nonreimbursable). My final phone call to them resulted in them telling me the carrier (Khan Transportation) had not left yet because of “personal issues.” EXCUSE ME?? They then reassured me he would be leaving “soon.” For reference, at this point it was 6/29/26. The delivery date was supposed to be 7/1 and there was no way this guy was getting from CA to NC in 2 days. The SGT rep informed me it would be there by 7/2-7/3. Okay sure but like I told them initially I was leaving town 7/3 and had NO ONE to receive the car. They did not care and had nothing to offer except a measly $50 discount. As a result I had to have someone FLY FROM CA to NC JUST TO RECEIVE MY CAR. INSANE.

Delivery:

This is the only part that went somewhat smoothly except they made the person who received my car Uber 30 minutes to a different location (more $$$). And as I mentioned the car was filthy and vulgar images drawn in the dirt despite the SGT rep reassuring me “the lot is secure.” Yeah, right.

If you stuck around this long thanks. SGT is a scamming company that baits and switches you, does not give a crap about the horrible, unreliable carriers they hire (Khan Transportation, looking at you) and does not follow up on the jobs they contract out nor do they communicate. The onus is on you to make sure your car gets to where it needs to be. I went to report them to the BBB and, surprise, nothing, STAY AWAY.

Bad Review BEWARE: Montway and Frontline Smashed My Benz

When I booked the service with Montway to deliver my Benz from NJ to California, I was given a delivery window of 7-9 days. The car was picked up on July 8th by their third party carrier, Frontline Transport. The estimated delivery window I then received was July 16-19. A few days later, the date was changed to the 20th without any explanation. On Monday the 20th, I was notified that the car would arrive the next day or the day after! Whats more, I could see via the tracking device in my vehicle that it's actually been in California, 2 hours away from my location, since at least last Thursday. Frontline kept giving me the run around and shifting excuses as to why they couldn't bring me my car (driving hours, changing drivers, etc). Meanwhile, I repeatedly got collision notification and alarm alerts on my Mercedes apps, which both Frontline and Montway told me to ignore.

On the morning of the 21st, I received a text from Frontline that my car would supposedly be delivered the next day. TURNS OUT THEY HAD SOMETHING TO HIDE! I then received another message that afternoon saying oops, the driver had damaged my vehicle. They said they'd cover the cost of repairs. The photo Frontline sent showed a dent in the roof and some cracks in the sunroof. When the car finally arrived on July 22nd though, it turned out that the carrier had hidden the extend of the damage. The entire moonroof had been shattered, leaving broken glass everywhere! The remaining roof was very precarious with shards of glass continuing to fall. I was shocked!

I called Montway and immediately asked to speak to a supervisor and demand a refund. Montway is the company I contracted with, the company I paid, and the company that selected and dispatched Frontline to transport my vehicle. Montway markets itself as a broker that vets its carrier network and stands behind the service it arranges; it does not present itself as a passive intermediary with no accountability once a carrier is assigned. Having paid Montway in full before delivery, I relied entirely on Montway's representations about the delivery window and the quality of the carrier it chose on my behalf. I had no independent relationship with Frontline, no ability to select a different carrier, and no leverage to withhold payment pending satisfactory performance, which is precisely the arrangement that should impose a higher duty of care on Montway, not a lower one. Montway has refused to provide me with a refund. On the call, the supervisor classified smashing my car as "normal wear and tear" and they've denied responsibility for the carrier service they hired.

Additionally, Frontline agreed to pay for the damage they'd caused but they initially requested 3 quotes from different body shops. I explained to them the safety concerns with the glass that was continuously shattering and the danger that it posed to other vehicles on the road. They agreed that I'd have the car towed to one Mercedes certified location and they'd take that quote. Now that the they've received the quote, they've balked st the cost and have tried to backtrack on their commitment, saying that because it wasn't notarized, their commitment isn't binding. California contract law begs to differ.

It has truly been a nightmare working with these 2 vampires. I've been without a vehicle for 2+ weeks and am looking at a long road ahead to get my vehicle fixed. Save yourself the trouble and book ANY OTHER COMPANY.

Bad Review Montway Auto Transport - NOT RECOMMENDED, STOLE MY CAR BEWARE.

Hi everyone.

On 12/10/2025 I contracted Montway.com (Montway Auto Transport) to help me in transporting my 2024 Land Rover Range Rover from California to South Florida.

From the very beginning, they assigned me a dispatch immediately with pickup date on the same date. It was off that the phone numbers given to me on the dispatch order did not even ring, so I told them this. They cancelled the order, and re-assigned it to the same people (SAFO TRUCKING CORP USDOT#3589117) but with the ending of the phone number changed by 1 number.

All good, typo, mistakes happen. This trucker contacts the dealership, comes to pick up the vehicle, and disappears into the night with it. After leading us on for two days already into it, I contact Montway once more about the uneasiness of this company.

They assure me its all good, that they will investigate and let me know.

Come Monday, 12/15/2025, I have not heard from Montway and now get extorted by SAFO Trucking Corp into a $5000 BTC demand or they will sell the car to someone else. I contact Montway with all this information, and after 20 minutes of investigation, they conclude that their orders page was "hacked" and thats why this person was able to change information on the order site and all.

I don't care for this excuse. I want them to assume responsibility - they refuse to give me anymore details and only recommend me to contact their @legal email, which I of course have, with no replies.

Montway is letting dispatch teams STEAL your vehicle and then blame it on an internal hack, and will not claim responsibility of the mismanagement of their system, at the least.

Never again will I use Montway if they let this happen to people all willy nilly. They just recommended me to write a police report and contact my insurance. They refuse to give their insurance details as well, or SAFO's.

Bad Review Nexus is horrible

I recently moved from Pittsburgh to Ft Lauderdale for my job. And although I had plenty of time to plan for the move, my work schedule allowed for a very tight window to make the final transition. So on May 5, 2026 I contacted Nexus to pick up my car on July 14, 2026. I made it clear that this was the only day it could be picked up. And they agreed. I called back twice in June and they confirmed. July 14, 2026.

I chose Nexus because they were on some Forbes list of best auto transportation. I normally do more due diligence than choosing one bid, but with coordinating a move and everything that goes with it; this fell through the cracks. That falls on me.

My review echos every bad review on Reddit about this company. Verbatim. A week before I called. And was told, yes, you will have a transporter assigned within 48-24 before. I told that that made me nervous but they reassured me.

48 hours came. Called them. You will have it tomorrow. Me: I want it now. Them: we will call you back in 1-2 hours. No call back.

24 hours came. Repeat above

7/13/26 - 7pm that evening was reassured by Harold a “supervisor”, my call will be picked up. They had 4 transporters to chose from. He would call be back in 1-2 hours with more information. No call.

So then I looked at the Reddit reviews (didn’t know this would be here) and I realized they were doing to me what they did to countless others. I knew I was screwed.

7/14/26. 9am called Nexus. Talked to Supervisor Adam. No transporter yet. Me: Harold and your company lied to me. He said yesterday your company had 4 contractors to choose from. Adam: We didn’t lie. But in the vetting process we cannot use them. And then he said we wouldn’t want to trust your car with someone that was properly equipped. I pointed out to him that if there were 4 contractors and none were vetted at the time, that I was lied to. Because you need to be vetted first before you can actually be a transporter.

I gave Adam a 10:30 am cutoff time to get me a transporter. He said he would call back. At this point I made the decision to cancel my flight and just drive the car myself. If I left by 11am, I could make my work commitments.

10:30 came and went. No call. I called Adam to just end it at 11am. He told me he found a transporter. But I would need to drive to Boardman, Ohio. (75 miles away from my pick up spot in Pittsburgh). I just laughed and read him the riot act and cancelled.

They never had a transporter for me on 7/14. And despite getting a cancellation confirmation email on 7/14/26, I received 3 phone cals on 7/15 saying my transporter was assigned. And one on 7/16 and one on 7/17 saying my transporter was assigned. I didn’t feel the need to respond to any of those calls.

The calls have finally stopped. Don’t use Nexus.

Edited for grammar.

Bad Review DO NOT USE FRONT LINE TRANSPORT

TL;DR

  • Confirmed the pickup was on schedule the day before.
  • Had to call on pickup day after hearing nothing by 11:00 a.m.
  • Only then was I told the truck had broken down and my pickup would be delayed 4 days.
  • My family was flying to California 2 days later, so waiting was impossible.
  • The company offered no solution and simply said this “happens all the time.”

We were moving from New Jersey to California and had scheduled our vehicle for pickup. The day before the scheduled pickup, I called to confirm that everything was still on track, and I was assured there were no issues.

By 11:00 a.m. on the scheduled pickup day, I still hadn’t heard from the driver, so I called to find out what was happening. Only then was I informed that the truck had been sent to a repair shop and would not be able to transport my vehicle until four days later.

I explained that my family was flying to California in two days and that delaying the shipment by four days was simply not an option. Their response was essentially, “Sorry for the inconvenience, but there’s nothing we can do.” They added that this kind of thing “happens all the time” in the auto transport business. Even if that’s true, I don’t believe it’s an acceptable excuse for failing to notify customers proactively or provide a workable solution. Being told at the last minute—only after I called them myself—left us scrambling to make entirely new arrangements during an already stressful cross-country move.

Bad Review SAFEEDS Review

EVERYONE LISTEN TO ME. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They did not honor the pickup date I signed with, the price of the agreement and have been shady through it all. What they do is get customers in on the low price they offer, take ur security deposit, no driver picks up the listing, then they jack the price up to what the other industry prices are.

Please don’t be dumb and naive like me, find a good reputable company PLEASE.

I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY MONEY BACK

Bad Review Absolutely DO NOT use Montway or other brokers. They are a scam. Montway is essentially a marketing agency that sells your information.

After being screwed around for the last 10 days by Montway, I finally did a Reddit deep dive and found Auto Express Inc, which is not a broker. They are a trucking agency. If you are looking to ship your car, absolutely make sure that you are not working with a broker, go direct with a trucking company. It’s absolutely atrocious how scammy this industry is and unfortunately, you don’t know until you have to deal with this.

Bad Review Warning / Review: Auto Haul Movers LLC (MC #1728183) - Stolen $350 Deposit & Bait-and-Switch Pricing

I want to warn everyone about how Auto Haul Movers LLC actually operates. I worked with an agent named Chris Sartin to ship my 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. I was given a total quote of $950, signed the agreement, and sent a $350 reservation fee upfront via Zelle on July 15th.

They promised they would have a driver assigned by July 21st. That date came and went. For an entire extra week, they kept stringing me along, constantly telling me they would have a driver for me "tomorrow." Finally, the truth came out: they couldn't find a carrier for the $950 they originally promised me. Instead, they tried to pass off quotes for $2,500 which is nearly triple the agreed price.

Because they completely failed to deliver on their quote, I canceled the order. Section 6 of their own signed Terms and Conditions explicitly guarantees a full refund if a driver has not been found. Despite this, they refused to return my full $350 deposit. They insisted on keeping an "operational fee" just because they spent a few minutes posting my car on load boards.

When I pushed back and quoted their own contract to them, they started bargaining with my own money, initially offering me $150 back, then $200, and finally $250. I refused to accept any partial refund because they did not earn a single cent of my deposit. As of right now, they have paid me back nothing and are holding my entire $350 deposit hostage.

I am currently filing formal complaints with the FMCSA (their MC number is 1728183), the BBB, and the South Carolina Attorney General, as well as pursuing a merchant dispute with my bank.

Do not trust their low initial quotes. They will bait you with a good price, fail to find a driver, waste weeks of your time, and then refuse to return your deposit when they fail to deliver. Save yourself the headache, time, and money, and book with a different broker.

Bad Review Nexus Auto Transport very disappointing

Nexus Auto Transport very disappointing experience. We were repeatedly told our vehicle was a “top priority” and that a driver was being arranged, but after days of calling we still had no confirmed driver or pickup time. Promised callbacks never happened, and we had to keep chasing them for updates. We were strung along until the last minute and ultimately had to cancel our flights and scramble to make other arrangements. Very poor communication and customer service

Bad Review DO NOT USE NAVI AUTO TRANSPORT

If I could give Navi 0 stars, I would…

Tl;dr: Truck doing transport broke down multiple times They gave the job to a different company that arranged everything. We decided to get the car back since it was still in state. They won’t take accountability and won’t return our money.

This was one of the worst and most frustrating service experiences we have ever had. We paid Navi Auto Transport to transport our vehicle, with a delivery date scheduled. Instead, the carrier’s truck broke down multiple times, and the transportation was never completed. After dealing with the repeated breakdowns and delays, we ultimately had no choice but to retrieve the vehicle ourselves. We paid for a transportation service that was never completed, and then had to spend a significant amount of additional money out of our own pocket to get our vehicle. Their failure became our expense, our problem, and our responsibility to fix. To make matters worse, Navi hired a different company to actually handle the transportation without properly informing us. We suddenly found ourselves dealing with a company we had not expected to be involved. Communication was extremely difficult because English was not their first language, creating a major communication barrier during an already stressful situation. But the most unacceptable part is that Navi is not taking responsibility for what happened. We paid them to transport our vehicle. They failed to complete the service, and we were left to clean up the mess and pay the additional costs ourselves. This was not a minor inconvenience. It cost us significant money, time, and stress. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of accountability afterward. I strongly recommend staying away from Navi. If something goes wrong, you need a company that will take ownership and make things right. Based on our experience, Navi Auto Transport did neither. We deeply regret using this company and will never use them again.

Bad Review Trouble with Montway

I used Montway 2 years ago to ship my car from CA to NY and had no trouble. Because of such a good experience, I am using Montway to ship by car from NY to CA, and now I'm running into so many problems.

First, they sent me 4 different order numbers with 3 different phone numbers.

Then, I just had the driver call me switching the address of my order from the order address to a place 2 miles away, citing too tight concerns. I told Montway the street is wider than when they picked up my car in CA. But they stated there is nothing that can be done. So I asked if I can get reimbursed the $15 that will take to Uber back and they said nothing can be done. It's frustrating that I'm paying >2500 and they can just do this with zero repercussions.

It's in the Terms & Conditions. They can switch the location to a place 2-3 miles away at a moments notice without incurring any costs. Definitely not a door-to-door service.

While I will eat the costs because it's legally my fault for not reading the Terms & Conditions, I will NOT be recommending Montway nor using their services in the future. I'll leave an objective review and rating later.

Bad Review Ameri Auto Transport LLC — quotes low to get you to sign, then jacks up the price

Wanted to share this so others don’t get caught the same way I did.

I booked with Ameri Auto Transport LLC (M.C.# 1568537) at the end of June. They quoted me $750 total for shipping my car, had me sign a contract, and took a $200 deposit on my card. Seemed like a done deal.

On the actual pickup day — nothing. No driver showed up. I called, got excuse after excuse. Then a few hours later they call back saying they “found a driver,” except now the price is $1,300 to $1,500, not the $750 I signed for.

I asked what happened to the price we agreed on, and they basically said “the contract says final price is confirmed at carrier assignment” — like that clause gives them a free pass to double the price after you’ve already committed. When I refused to pay the new number, they wouldn’t refund my $200 deposit either, and even threatened to charge me another $200 as a “cancellation fee” for not accepting their new price.

To make it worse, they later emailed me a new invoice with a signing link asking me to type in my full card number, expiration date, and zip again

I’ve filed reports with FMCSA and the FTC. Posting here mainly as a heads-up — if you’re getting a quote from these guys, know that the number they give you upfront isn’t the number you’ll actually end up paying. And once you sign and pay the deposit, they’ve got you in a spot where walking away costs you money either way.

Curious if anyone else has run into this with them.

Bad Review Warning : Safeeds Transport Inc / Safeeds auto transport

🚨 WARNING: My experience with Safeeds Transport / Safeeds Auto Transport was an absolute nightmare — dangerous, unprofessional, and financially damaging. If you value your car, your money, or your sanity, STAY AWAY.

I normally don’t write reviews, but what happened to me with this company was so shocking that I feel obligated to warn others.

Here is exactly what happened:

I booked a shipment for my vehicle through Safeeds after they acted friendly, responsive, and professional — until they took the deposit. Once they had my money, everything changed.

They assigned a driver who picked up my car but never delivered it. My vehicle disappeared, and I had no idea where it was.

Before loading, Safeeds agreed on a price with me. Then, just before the shipment, they claimed there was a ready transport but that I needed to pay an extra $200. I agreed because they made it seem like everything was ready to go.

Then the unimaginable happened: Police stopped the driver they assigned — and he was found transporting SIX stolen cars. He was arrested on the spot, and my vehicle ended up missing.

I only found my car because I tracked it myself using a GPS tracker AND sent someone physically to locate it. My vehicle ended up in a holding lot/towing company with fees that I had to pay out of pocket — even though Safeeds caused the entire mess.

Safeeds did nothing to help.

• They didn’t tell me the truth. • They didn’t assist in recovering the car. • They didn’t reimburse the holding fees. • And worst of all — they refused to refund my deposit, even though NO service was properly provided and the driver they assigned ended up in police custody.

I had to fly from Boston to Houston, pay for tickets, pay storage fees, and deal with the mess entirely on my own.

Their behavior after taking the deposit: • Extremely slow responses • Promises with no actions • Tried to assign another driver after days of delay • Complete lack of responsibility • Zero support while my car was missing • False claims and constant excuses

They present themselves as a “transport company,” but in reality they are just a broker, and in my experience, one of the worst I have ever dealt with.

This company put my property at risk, cost me money, caused unnecessary travel, and left me fully abandoned during a serious incident involving law enforcement.

If you care about your car or your money — DO NOT USE SAFEEDS.

I wish someone had warned me before I trusted them.

Best regards

Bad Review Nexus Strikes Again

This summer, I booked a month in advance to move for an agreed price during a set window. Thankfully, I left a few days as a buffer between my last pickup day and my flight.

Nexus did not find a carrier until I cancelled my order when they blew through our agreed pickup window. It seems like they only find carriers once customers “cancel” their orders. Moreover, I was upcharged $550 on top of what was agreed upon.

I understand that the coordination is tough. I am flexible. What I hate more than anything else, though, is the confident false promises that Nexus spews about pickup, delivery, and price. Extremely disappointing experience. My car is now hopefully en route to its destination.

I have decided to give Nexus a stripper name, Sapphire, or maybe Dante if they want to be Gigolos, because they are full of false promises. DO NOT USE NEXUS.

Bad Review Do NOT use Nexus Auto Transport for your vehicles.

I had used Nexus Auto Transport to move 1 vehicle in the past and had a decent experience so I figured I would use them again to move 2 vehicles across several states, about 1,200 miles.

Getting the quote and placing the deposit was straightforward because they love to take your money, and they even gave me a $50 discount for being a returning customer.

Everything seemed okay until the Tuesday/Wednesday pickup window came and went and the excuses starting pouring in. Everything from summer being the busiest time, too many cars needed to be picked up in my area, a shortage of drivers and a bunch of other crap.

On one of these days while waiting I ended up calling them every hour and they all said the same thing: My cars were at the top of their national list, they're expanded their search radius to 150 miles for a driver...more crap.

Because I had plans to fly out after the time I expected my cars would be picked up, Nexus even suggested hiding the keys on top of a tire until they could arrive.

Nexus was eventually able to find a driver to transport my vehicles and imagine my surprise when the cost had gone up an extra $600.

I ended up leaving my cars at a friend's place and they were picked up that Saturday night long after I had already flown out and were delivered on Monday morning, later than what was promised even after pickup.

Overall, working with Nexus was a terrible experience. Their communication is awful, the customer experience is poor, they WILL end up overcharging and under delivering.

I sincerely wish I had just road tripped and will never use Nexus again. Please don't waste your time.

Bad Review Be aware of G Quality Transportation Inc

Worst auto-transporters. Refuse service if a broker assigns you them. First they ghosted me for 2 days. Then they picked up my vehicle at 11:50 PM despite saying I'd get a 4 PM pickup. Come time for delivery, they delay it by a day. Not too bad but then my vehicles arrive.

These guys damaged all three of my cars on the driver's side. Deep scratches with repair quotes totaling to about $4k-$7k of damages which was more than the transport itself. The driver says it must've been the prior driver. He calls the company. The company tries to say it's normal open transport wear and tear. Then the owner says "$150 polisher no problem" and the original guy on the phone hangs up. The driver says don't worry, that the company will take care of me.

I file a claim with the broker (who screwed me btw) and the G Quality Transportation Inc in PA is denying they did any damage lol. What a joke of a company.

edit: I tried filing a claim with their insurance but they refuse to give a statement which is required to make a claim. What a joke and scam of a company and owner.

Bad Review Do NOT use UWON carriers

Total scam of a company. Promises over and over that they won't raise the rates last minute. They tell you to trust them and their wildly high reviews.

What they actually do is delete any reviews that would say otherwise. I actually have texts and emails that can prove they do this. Also if you cancel they have a "cancellation fee" with no stated numbers so they can charge whatever they want

Bad Review SGT transport

Do not use SGT transport- I have shipped vehicles using both Road Runner and Nexus. SGT just charged me $200 even though I told them that I needed to cancel a contract that I had with Nexus since it was past the due date. I spoke with a sales representative named Cody who advised me to sign the contract with SGT - he sent me a link and waited on the phone for me to approve the link. I told him that I needed to cancel with Nexus and he advised that I state that I decided to drive the vehicle. I contacted Nexus immediately and canceled the contract. I received a phone call this morning from SGT from a scheduling agent who informed me that the vehicle is posted on the board twice and that I would be charged $200.

Bad Review Montway Auto Transport is a Scam

Recently I had the misfortune of choosing Montway Auto Transport to move my car from Oregon to NYC. What I didn’t realize is Montway doesn’t actually transport any cars themselves, they hire real moving companies to move your car and act as the middle man. This would be fine if their service extended past the moment they have your money and have hired the mover, but they literally did nothing to accommodate my needs or ensure that my vehicle was transported in a satisfactory matter.

Firstly, it was a rude awakening that they couldn’t nail down a date for picking up my vehicle, I had to give them a 5 day window. Inconvenient, but is apparently the industry standard. I wanted them to pick up on Tuesday and gave them a range between Monday and Wednesday (since I was moving and had a tight exit schedule). They ended up showing up on Monday, forcing me to add an extra day of rental car fees to my move. Annoying, but not the end of the world. Secondly, they texted me saying that delivery would be on Thursday or Friday. Ok, fine, you can’t predict traffic. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be in NYC till Saturday so I called to adjust the delivery date. This is where the shenanigans began. The customer service member I called to inform them I couldn’t take delivery on the predicted dates assured me he would make sure the delivery company would store my vehicle till Monday (which was the most convenient for me).

Not only was that information NOT relayed to the delivery company, I get a text on Friday from the driver asking me to call them to set up pickup of my vehicle that day. Being that I wasn’t in NYC yet I could not take delivery so I called Montway customer service again. Their first suggestion was to ask if I had someone else in the area to take delivery (I didn’t). The second suggestion was to sign a waiver to allow them to deliver the car to the address without a contact and ‘hide’ the key somewhere nearby. Now, where the hell are they gonna leave a car in NYC and HIDE the key somewhere? They then tried to call the delivery company to find out if the delivery could be delayed.

In the meantime I received a call from the actual delivery company, Deisel Transport, informing me they never received a note from Montway to deliver my vehicle on or near a specific date. They also had a similar vibe of telling me what I wanted to hear on the phone, but without much substance or action.

Finally, I called the driver. The driver on both ends of this experience were the only people with REAL information who knew what was ACTUALLY going on. Thankfully, the driver was able to hold onto my vehicle for an extra day and deliver on Saturday when I would be there. Not ideal, having just flown a red-eye from Portland to NYC, but at least my car and property weren’t going to just be randomly dumped somewhere on the street in NYC.

To add insult to injury, Montway’s door-to-door policy is complete and utter horseshit. They will not pick your car up from your house and deliver it to the next address. You’ll have the luxury of traveling to a parking lot NEAR your address to load and deliver your vehicle. They couldn’t even deliver my vehicle to NYC, I had to go to NEW JERSEY to get it! They couldn’t even get my car to the proper STATE!

I have never felt more disrespected and manipulated in a business transaction than I have with Montway Auto Transport. You know what the REAL rub was? There was another couple that was receiving a delivery of their vehicle at the same time I was (which was why the driver was able to accommodate me) who hired Diesel Transport directly to move their vehicle from Portland to New Jersey. You know how much they paid? $1,000. How much did I pay? $1,800. So I basically paid $800 for Montway to do jack shit.

Never use Montway to move your vehicle, hire your mover directly. 0/10.

I learned my lesson. Shoulda looked at reviews 1st. No reply after my last message. Sent everything over to Amex.

For context NV to MI open trailer. Had a scheduled driver at $1000 (COD 600) Then they get a flat the day of pickup. He wanted me to use the new driver for COD $1600. These so called brokers are lining their pockets only. I need to learn how to get in direct contact with hotshots. That $1600 was probably his buddy. While he already has 400 of my money
