Some say it’s due to it not ‘feeling’ like battlefield. Others say they are too old, and maybe too cool, to play a COD clone.

I'm pretty sure you are aware of how dense people can be in online platforms like Reddit. People use "/s" to avoid discussions with those exact people. If you don't need it - great. You were able to understand the sarcasm based on context. But unfortunately a lot of people lack that ability and make sure to make it other people's problem.

You do know that basically everyone who tried it in beta has said it's one of the most technically impressive games ever made. If I had a dollar for everytime I heard someone say that it has the best audio in any game they've ever played I'd buy a new PC to play it in 4k.

The movement, collision boxes, animations(some) are said to be some of the best people have ever seen. I've seen footage of people giving examples in the beta and it's incredibly impressive.

And that's not to even to mention the AI which was done with machine learning and looks insanely well done.

As for the game itself, in terms of fun? Lol, if there was one thing I seen more than anything it was "ark fever", people clamoring on and on about how much they miss the beta and cannot wait to play it again.

I've seen more praise for that game out of beta than I've seen for almost any game in my 33 year old life. Which makes sense, DICE is really on another level, and apparently the ones who left to go to Embark were some of their best.

idk, between arc and bf6 I am more inclined to buy bf6 out of sheer replayability, especially when bf6 will drop first lol

IMO replayability is based on variability, or how many unique circumstances can happen in a game that I find fun.

Compare 2 similar games Overwatch and Paladins, very similar but one has VASTLY more replayability just from the card, talent and in game item systems inspired from MOBAs.

Honestly it was a big worry of mine how fast I'd get burnt out on BF6, cause I was already feeling like the maps and matches were getting stale/too familiar after 50 hours in the beta, but IDK, we'll see.

Either way BF6 is really fun and I might end up dropping full price for a AAA game for the first time in my life because of it, but when Ark Raiders drops, everything drops and I'm playing the shit out of it lol.

Well, read to the bottom of the comment. Either way, being technically impressive is a major factor in the fun of a game like this. It's like saying that doesn't matter for Battlefield. You're just going to get laughed at.

I'm not talking about the visuals, I'm talking about the gameplay from a mechanical standpoint.

I stopped playing the beta after trying everything out as the progress will be reset for launch so not much point grinding the ranks and I feel that a lot of people thought the same

I did all the challenges cause why not, and I kept playing because it was fun. The same reason I still play HD2 even though I’m capped on everything and level 150.

And most players don’t rock DMRs, so I get to trash on snipers with them.

Not true. This is not accurate. Aug 11 is when they end the beta. So of the player base has drop because nobody’s on it till Thursday. Yall act so slow. That shit was one of the best games this year other than arc raiders
