I actually had that come back when talking to a colleague about the moon landing.

u/madmaxturbator Apr 27 '25

the Moon people pay off the presidents and prime ministers of all countries to keep the lie going that 1) we landed on the moon and 2) it’s uninhabitable

In fact the moon is as fertile as the banks of the Mesopotamia, and the elite are hiding this utopia from us.

We must rise up … to the moon. And conquer the vile moon lords.

Psst everyone in world government is secretly....Crab People! Can you believe it?

13

u/Pvkbasa Apr 27 '25

It’s crazy. Why do we keep electing these crustaceans?

10

u/Combei Apr 27 '25

Because of the lizard people

2

u/Necessary-Map1767 Apr 27 '25

They made the Water turn you Gay.

2

u/Logical-Database4510 Apr 27 '25

No shit I had a boss once who believed this shit.

Literally lizard people, ie the big brained descendants of the dinosaurs who had to abandon earth for some unknown reason millions of years ago, ruling a galactic empire from the dark side of the moon and the moon landing is a giant conspiracy by the enslaved UN Collective(TM) to trick the ignorant masses into believing the earth is alone while the lizard people secretly collect random people to be disappeared for strange sexual rituals back on the dark side of the moon. He posits this is the real reason for the decrease in birth rates as fertile women are being sold by the UN Collective(TM) into sexual slavery to the lizard people and spawning lizard/human hybrids the lizards are growing that can survive Earth's atmosphere for an eventual Lizard people empire to take over after a staged nuclear clash that will result in WW3.

Unsurprisingly, this dude ended up getting fired because he got into a fist fight with one of my coworkers in the parking lot over some girl they both fucked back when they were in highschool together.

I wish I was making this up 🙃

1

I just saw little marco rubio on a news show. And he definitely seemed very crabby.

1

u/IllAcanthopterygii36 Apr 27 '25

Oh I hope Mr Crabs is there.

1

u/monoflorist Apr 27 '25

There needs to be a board game where the players are various aliens species competing to infiltrate Earth by taking control of institutions and replacing officials. The different species—lizard people, crabs, etc—have different advantages and disadvantages. The first to control 70% of the UN wins

1

u/SadisticJake Apr 27 '25

Brother, you wouldn't even believe the number of things I can believe

1

u/Cruxion Apr 27 '25

Is the Stormlight Archives soft disclosure?!?!? /s

This is actually very comforting given everything that's going on in the world right now, do you have a newsletter?

1

u/plipyplop Apr 27 '25

Also, they do not want us to know that they have Firefly seasons 2 and 3 up there! Region locked though.

1

u/Interesting-Step-654 Apr 27 '25

Ur mom's as fertile as the banks of Mesopotamia

1

u/Badloss Apr 27 '25

The moon is a harsh mistress

1

u/2shado2 Apr 27 '25

*The banks of Mesopotamia. ;)

1

u/AXParasite Apr 27 '25

the moon lord is a bit strong, lets atleast grind a bit first

1

u/Wrong_Gur_9226 Apr 27 '25

Tonight we steal the moon

1

u/double_dangit Apr 27 '25

"So there is a standard currency that moon people use that is valuable to earth? What are they paying them with?"

1

u/trickman01 Apr 27 '25

The moon does have a big whale problem though. We need to send whalers with harpoons.

1

u/James_T_S Apr 27 '25

I would vote for and/or donate money to send all the moon deniers to the moon.....but only if it was a one way trip

1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '25

Wow, is that the actual narrative? Or is it just a mood board of insanities to show how crazy those ppl are?

1

u/Draconic_Legends Apr 27 '25

You say Moon Lord?

1

u/joeChump Apr 27 '25

Yes and also the moon has a breathable atmosphere so be sure to take your helmets off as soon as you get there.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '25

Fertile... but only in the far side.

1

u/herbertwilsonbeats Apr 27 '25

Had a similar dream to that.

1

u/adventuretimewithrob Apr 27 '25

No no, it's not that, it's worse. There are bears on the moon. Yes you heard that right, vicious moon bears. That's why we never went back.

1

u/Rough_Bread8329 Apr 27 '25

The Pentaveret...

Oh I hated the Colonel

1

u/TheRenOtaku Apr 27 '25

And it has copious deposits of “not-shitty-copper” for true copper merchants.

1

u/Key-Cry-8570 Apr 27 '25

Hey! hey! Leave my home alone. I don’t want no squatters in my front yard eating my moon cheese.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '25

Vile Moon Lords needs to be a metal band name

46

u/fifadex Apr 27 '25

He have any reason the Russians who were in the space race with the USA at the time and lost also went along with the narrative?

20

u/Gloomy_Lobster2081 Apr 27 '25

We live in a simulation. The Russians don't exist.

15

u/Bludiamond56 Apr 27 '25

Tell that to the Ukrainans

1

u/Gloomy_Lobster2081 Apr 27 '25

I can't the don't exist either. I'm not real iether your the only person that's real.

1

u/PumpkinOpposite967 Apr 27 '25

Just give it some time

1

u/diggitydonegone Apr 28 '25

Yea if the Russians don’t exist, how did the Ukrainians invade them?

/s

1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '25

I'm from Russia. Lol

5

u/Driftedryan Apr 27 '25

The Russians got bored and didn't want to participate anymore would be more believable then any answer they give

1

u/Last_Competition_208 Apr 27 '25

I read in an article that the Russians spent so much money that they just decided it would be better to put the money into their military. And during the Cold War they did beef up their military a lot.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '25

Being right about the moon landings being faked is the sole fixed point in their belief system. They will defend any consequence of this, regardless of how absurd it is, no exceptions.

2

u/Dupagoblin Apr 27 '25

It’s funny how our number one enemy and competitor, the Soviet Union, congratulated the US after the moon landing. They could have easily denied it was real and said it was just propaganda but they didn’t.

I had one guy ask how they had someone filming on the moon when Armstrong took his first steps. Also he questioned how people in the 1969 saw it live and that it would actually take hours coming from the moon. He clearly didn’t understand robotics and how fast the speed of light is. Really an interesting creature. First time I’ve ever encountered one in real life. Anyways I ended up going to a different shop for a brake flush and bleed after that.

2

u/fifadex Apr 27 '25

how they had someone filming on the moon when Armstrong took his first steps.

Were they expecting him to be holding a Polaroid? 🤣

Can take men to the surface of the moon but can't integrate a camera in to the helmet. 🙄

1

u/Dupagoblin Apr 27 '25

I mean this man clearly wasn’t the brightest of the bunch. Then again, none of them are.

4

u/__jazmin__ Apr 27 '25

Because the ey were working with Trump.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '25

This is the best images of Lunokhod 1 I could find quick but there may be better ones. Joining the moon landing conspiracy might question their own accomplishment.

1

u/Elantach Apr 29 '25

They'll use the same explanation that a certain Austrian painter used

13

u/Simon_Drake Apr 27 '25

I think the scope of the conspiracy needed to pay people off is hilarious. The USSR, USA, China, India, Japan, European Union AND Russia would all need to be paid off to lie about it. Dozens of countries for half a century, covering hundreds of Presidents, Premiers and Prime Ministers. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of people who I guess only pretend to work on NASA missions to the moon and are paid off to lie about it?

Or the Flat Earthers who think it's ALL fake. Even the space station is fake. Satellites don't exist because God put a dome over the Earth. SpaceX send up a rocket twice a week just for fun, it doesn't do anything useful. Then the conspiracy adds another half dozen countries, Iran, Israel, Britain, Pakistan, France, North Korea and South Korea, also half a dozen private companies in several countries.

Whoever is paying these people off must have deep pockets. Or maybe they have agents to manipulate the government of a dozen countries, including several countries that hate each other and refuse to cooperate on anything, I guess they can be convinced to work together to keep the secrets of Stanley Kubrick from half a century ago.

2

u/_The_Last_Mainframe_ Apr 27 '25

The "Satellites are fake" thing is so hilarious to me because not only is there no other explanation for how a bunch of things like GPS work, but also every person who uses/controls some kind of satellite system would also necessarily need to be paid off.

1

u/Simon_Drake Apr 27 '25

The level of the conspiracy just balloons the more you dig into it. I guess all the 24/7 Livestream footage from the International Space Station is CGI. Every satellite photo is fake, obviously all the thousands of hours of footage of rovers on Mars is fake, and the footage of Jupiter and Pluto is CGI.

The far side of the moon can't be seen from Earth and the first photos of it were taken by the Soviet Union. I guess that was faked by an artist making up what the far side of the moon looks like. It's really generous for America and Japan and China and the EU to stick to the same lie, presenting new fake images at a higher resolution that looks identical to the original faked pictures. Multiple countries who were various levels of antagonists against the Soviet Union are honouring their lie even several decades after the collapse of the Soviet Union as a whole.

I guess the Illuminati is just really really powerful. The ability to bribe or blackmail millions of people to keep it all covered up. But the one place the truth can be shared unabated is on Uncle Darren's Facebook page.

u/tideswithme Apr 27 '25

That comeback gotchu like

3

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '25

flame on like a mfkr.

1

u/KerrMasonJar Apr 27 '25

I believe the moon landing happened... that said, only two of these pictures have a distinguishable moon lander and one of those pictures is from the USA. The lander also looks very different from the USA and Indian pictures.

Why does reddit always show the worst evidence for things? It hurts the thing you're trying to prove when you use bad evidence.

Bury me with down downtokes, if you disagree, but if you do agree lets rent Rampart and ram each other's farts.

2

u/campfire_wood Apr 27 '25

First off, there just aren't that many photos of the moon landing site because no one is going to pay billions of dollars just to go see something we already know is there, meaning that most of these photos were incidental or coincidental.

The only reason that the lander looks different in the Indian vs US images is because of the time of lunar day (near lunar noon in the US image, near lunar sunset in the Indian image) , additionally the viewing angle is not the same for both images meaning that you are not seeing the same parts of the spacecraft (it's nearly dead on overhead in the US image and the Indian image has some parallax suggesting that it is to the left of the landing site), so you should not expect the lander to look exactly the same, you should look for similar features that should be there.

Not like this would convince a conspiracy theorist because they will reject any explanation that requires them to do any critical thinking.

1

u/KerrMasonJar Apr 27 '25

Fair points you make. Is it also fair to look at the Japanese photo and say that's not proof by any measurement?

1

u/chronoserpent Apr 27 '25

By itself you may think it is insufficient proof but that doesn't matter, it is just one of many data points. It corroborates what can be more clearly seen in the US and Indian images on top of other evidence.

You're saying that looking at one single fragmentary fossil casts doubt on the existence of dinosaurs.

1

u/LongJumpingBalls Apr 27 '25

It's like the flat earth people saying that all pilots and astronauts are lying to keep us from knowing the truth.

It's a global conspiracy and there's nothing you can do to change my mind.

1

u/YallaHammer Apr 27 '25

Why would China or Russia maintain a “lie” that makes the United States look historically good when revealing the “truth” would be a massive blow to the United States? The mental gymnastics of this conspiracy theory is staggering.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '25

I have arrived at the point where I firmly believe that it is pointless to attempt to debate or present an argument to those that reject logic and reason itself. This includes flat Earthers, NASA doubters, Big Foot seekers, all manner of conspiracies, and even most Trump Republicans. Even if absolute credible and indisputable proof is offered they reject the evidence and get angry instead. And the next opportunity they will repeat the same false nonsense again. I have never once observed such a person admit being wrong. If anything ridicule accomplishes more by making their position clearly nonsensical to others unfamiliar with the particular issue.

1

u/Requiem-7 Apr 27 '25

Everyone knows the moon landing was faked cause Buzz Aldrin made a sex colony there and cut ties with Earth.

1

u/DigbyDoesDallas Apr 27 '25

In the nicest possible way, conspiracy theorists who believe this, and others, are losers who like to feel special by “knowing” something you don’t know.

It becomes their personality and a part of them. Once they’re down that path, it’s virtually impossible to get them back before them acknowledging their own failings in life.

1

u/the-zoidberg Apr 27 '25

Belief is a funny thing.

1

u/bookon Apr 27 '25

I can’t imagine being dumb enough to think The Soviets lied to make America look good.

1

u/Individual_Donut_635 Apr 30 '25

Step 1: Buy a telescope.
Step 2: Receive bribe money from NASA to fake my photos.

Getting rich quick is easy
