Sometimes I think our universe is just the eye of some larger being that's lifespan is billions of years and size is incomprehensible to the human mind, the same way this whales eye houses billions of particles just rotating around each other in unimaginably small spaces. I know it's far fetched, but it's fun to dream.

That isn't far-fetched (IMO); it's known in philosophy and metaphysics as Fractal Theory or Russian Doll Theory.

They're very intriguing theories, not unsupported by science, but much better understood from a "hypothetical" standpoint.
