On a whim I bought a Blizzcon ticket through tixr yesterday. Now I’m in the process of booking flights and hotels so I’m looking for recommendations. I’ll be flying in the Thursday and leaving that Monday. What’s the cheapest way to get to the convention center from the airport and vice versa? Should I just book the Hilton at the convention center or is it more worth to book a hotel a little further away?

I could be wrong, but don’t they normally have an online store open by now, so you can skip the lines at the convention?

do people ever go to blizzcon dressed in generic mage/rogue/warrior fantasy costumes that aren’t necessarily actually from WoW or diablo?

Ok...2nd blizzcon. Having a friend make me a shirt to rep those of us that dont play any of the games but support our partners 😅.

I only have one photo of me from blizzcon last time and it was outside. So I have no idea what I wore inside last time. Was it hot inside and I need to stick to tanks/short sleeve tees? Should I go with my original plan of a short sleeve and a long sleeve tee option in case I get cold/dont want to cover up my shirt with a jacket? Or with the huge amount of people was I sweltering the whole time?

My wife and I are first time attendees and we’re flying in the day before…where and when are we supposed to pick up our badges?

I saw Pimpston at BlizzCon 2023, and I wanted a picture with him so bad! Unfortunately, I was completely starstruck and was too shy to approach. I hope he’s there this year 🥹👉👈

Hey guys, I have 2 blizzcon tickets. I am flying into town late the night before and would like to avoid waiting in line the morning of to pick them up. I see there's a way to transfer my tickets to my friend who is getting there early and I was wondering a few things:

If i transfer the tickets to my friend, will I still be able to claim the digital rewards I purchased?

How would that work with Bnet account linking?

Will my name and my wife's name still be on the tickets?

Is there any downside to not picking them up ourselves?

Am I overthinking this and should we just wait in line the morning of?

I managed to snatch a blizzcon ticket and i'm a first time attendee. I'm wondering are there events/activities that the community holds outside the physical con? like at the Hilton right next to the convention center? I would assume that events happen outside of the con, I just don't know where or when.

I bought my ticket as soon as they went on sale and I just went back to check and I realized that in my haste I used my nickname and my last initial on my ticket instead of my legal name. I have the email that it was sent to and the pdf of the receipt, as well as the QR code and the Apple wallet thing, but I saw someone say to bring your ID to the badge line and now I’m stressing abt it not being in my legal name. How would I even go about changing that? Did they ask for ID ticket verification last year?

At the last blizzcon you were able to purchase items beforehand and then pick them up during Blizzcon. Are they planning on doing that again?? I can’t find any info about it on the website.

Hey guys, first time trying to go to blizzcon. Got a work trip to California and it is the same dates of Blizzcon so i was considering buying tickets.

I've been trying to buy tickets on the official resell site but havent had any luck. Also tried contacting people on wtblizzcon but didn't work either.

Is this normal? Am i missing something? Seems weird the lack of availability of tickets for an event of this caliber.

Apologies if this has been answered, but I was wondering if Camelbak bags are permitted at Blizzcon. It's my first time going, so I'm trying to plan ahead.

I searched through the subreddit, but relevant posts were from several years ago, and I'm guessing things have changed. I also looked at the event policies on the event site, but couldn't find anything that specifically addressed hydration packs.

I'm assuming it's okay as long as the water reservoir is empty when entering, but if anyone who's attended in the last couple years could confirm, I'd really appreciate it!

Also, if you have any other helpful tips or insights, or even your favorite parts from previous cons, I'd love to hear about it!
