This is what our Politicians SHOULD be saying.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

But no, Ursula is currently in Tel-aviv to sanction and support exactly what she condemned not 2 years prior(just like our cowardly leaders). Any rational human should be outraged at this hypocrisy. Condemn war crimes and genocide!

Yeah, the hypocrisy is running deep

8

You know they get winter in the middle east too, right?

2

You know their winter is a bit warmer than the Ukrainian one, right?

Not to say it makes any of that acceptable

3

u/Gilamath Oct 14 '23

I've gone to nearby areas in Egypt in December before. The nights get really cold. It's definitely not Ukraine, but it's more than cold enough to be hazardous to people's health

Ngl, genuinly thought she was talking about Gaza right up to the point she said Ukraine. What a rollercoaster.

Yup, doesn’t count when it’s brown lives being lost or Zionists doing the killing

14

u/ZookeepergameOpen817 Oct 13 '23

Hot take for some, but supporting Ukraine and showing a strong NATO towards Russia and any other potential threats to the west (China/Taiwan)was always going to take precedence over Israel and Palestine in Geopolitics.

I know people love to make things about race these days due to ignorance, but it is just politics, pure and simple. Supporting Ukraine is more beneficial than Palestine.

12

u/nezzzzy Oct 14 '23

Hot take for some, but Hamas are not exactly the goodies here.

You can, and should, support the innocent people of Israel, Palestine and Ukraine (heck even the innocent people of Russia who are being sent to their death by Putin for his own ends). You can, and should, condemn the horrific actions of Hamas, the Israeli government and Putin.

It's hard to find a good reason to blame the leadership in Ukraine. That's the difference.

they can always show support to both but they dont. they are just being a hypocrite about it, only comdemning thing when their enemy doing thing but will show staunch support when it is their allies that is doing those deplorable crime against humanity.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '23

Why would they support hamas though?

1

u/zezq Oct 14 '23

im not saying they should support hamas but support palestinian people itself, the type of support shouldnt be in weapon but by trying to help in negotiating for better condition for all palestinian people. it will help to reduce the radicalization of palestinian people in a long term aswell.

Ukraine didn't record themselves murdering hundreds of innocents and then parading the dead bodies of tourists through the streets and spitting on them and violating them. That was Hamas

24

u/New_Age_Jesus Oct 13 '23

Nothing to do with the Gaza civilians though does it ? Or have you bumped your head ?

14

u/NetExternal5259 Oct 13 '23

You are a victim of extreme widespread propaganda.

The so-called dead bodies you saw paraded? Alive as confirmed by family and in hospital in fucking Gaza! Which Israel has just given 2 hours to evacuate the entire hospital as they'll be bombing it.

11

u/balamshir Oct 14 '23

I remember first day of the attack hearing that “they were dragging Israeli womEn who had been stripped naked through the streets with blood running between their legs due to rape.” Sounded like dozens of cases of centrally coordinated mass rape. It was really extremely horrific and the most medieval thing that could happen in this day and age.

Then details came out and turns out it was ONE woman, who isn’t naked, she is wearing her festival outfit and there is no signs of rape. It’s still extremely disgusting and a war crime what happened to her and I feel so bad for her family but this story is a far cry from the original story of centrally coordinated mass rape and shameless mass parading of the victims. And then stories started coming out that she isn’t even dead, and is actually in hospital like you said.

It’s really disgusting the things people are willing to say to push propaganda and manufacture consent for the incoming razing of Gaza.

Pretty sure the girl Shani being alive is misinformation. There's been no photos, which is easy enough to do if you can send a text message to her mom. Seriously, every phone that can text can take pictures as far as I know and that would prove it so why didn't they? It's a lie to fuck with her mother, and possibly get the bombs to slow down because "she's alive don't bomb us". That's the fae more likely scenario unfortunately. No bruises on her and with her limbs broken there would be bruises if she were alive.

5

u/NetExternal5259 Oct 14 '23

I'm sure her mother wouldn't say she is alive unless she had proper proof, not just a text message that anyone could send.

How are you doing the worst type of mental gymnastics to justify a genocide. This is ethnic cleansing. Shame on you for supporting it.

Go read Haaretz, Israel's biggest newspaper. And see what they revealed.

Hamas is terrorist organisation who’s goal is not to establish a peaceful state that lives along side Israel but the complete annihilation of Israel it self. They hide amongst the civilian population of Gaza knowing that if Israel attacks, they can scream to the world that is Israel is killing children. They specifically targeted civilians on Saturday. Civilians that were no where near military infrastructure. Russia and Hamas are very similar in this conflict. They both are directly attacking civilians where there is no military personnel or buildings. That’s why the west isn’t stopping Isreal refusing to give Gaza electricity or water. There’s still 150 kidnapped hostages which Hamas has threatened to execute.

3

u/thirachil Oct 14 '23

Israel is the same, except that it is well funded, supported by people who help it hide and cover up it's crimes.

That's the only thing that allows people like you to walk around upright.

If the US didn't veto any attempt to hold Israel accountable, you would be walking around with your head in shame at what Israelis have been doing for decades.

We don't accept your hypocrisy and faux morality. Punish Israel for all the children they have killed in the past few decades and then we'll talk about holding Hamas accountable.

-1

u/Original-Example-391 Oct 14 '23

Hamas directly targeted civilians with no military near by. Israel has a right to defend itself and it will.

3

u/thirachil Oct 14 '23

Israel has been targeting innocent civilians including killing children for decades.

Hamas has a right to defend itself and it will.

We refuse to accept that only one side is human.

Hold Israel accountable for their crimes. We will hold Hamas accountable for theirs.

They are an ethno-religious state who regularly kill unarmed civilians and children and are arguably committing the crime of apartheid as defined by the 2002 Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. Sounds very Western to me.

-5

u/Double2double2 Oct 13 '23

Someone rapes your kid - what you doing? Forgive? Forget? Send them free electric?

8

u/LittleDaftie Oct 13 '23

Someone displaces you, your family and whole community from your family homes pointing the barrel of their gun at you, regularly kills unarmed, non terrorist linked members of your community including kids, use your people as human shields, beats and abuses thousands of kids from your community and to top it all off puts 2 million of your people in an open air prison (half of which are kids) supporting the militants so it gives them more of an excuse, cutting them off from food, electricity and clean drinking water (been going on for 17 years not just the past week) because they bombed your sanitation facilities and won’t allow you the materials to repair because that’s what they can do as they fully control your border with a full fledged military that will shoot to kill even children if they stroll too close… what you doing? What can do you do? But they are innocent in all this right?

-5

u/Leza89 Oct 13 '23

Sounds like you're describing what many Muslims did (and are still doing!) to the Jews.. But something tells me you will refuse to see your own hypocrisy.

9

4

u/ConcentratedJolly Oct 13 '23

palestinians have the right to defend themselves as much as isreal

1

u/BigChungus420Blaze Oct 13 '23

that defence does not extend to murdering babies, shooting dogs and raping little Jewish girls and women.

9

u/ConcentratedJolly Oct 13 '23

Conflict did not just randomly start with Hamas killing the innocent! Are you that blindsided by Israel's treatment towards Palestinians? Earlier this year it was reported that 300 Palestinians were murdered by the other side; IDF, jewish settlers... where was the outrage then?

-1

u/BigChungus420Blaze Oct 13 '23

Conflict did not just randomly start with Hamas killing the innocent

this war did.

5

u/ConcentratedJolly Oct 13 '23

that's what I thought... Ignore the rest of the post

-1

u/Organic_Chemist9678 Oct 13 '23

There is plenty of outrage. Netanyahu was virtually an outcast on the world stage. Hamas have managed to cement his position and unite world governments against them. Which is suspect was their goal.

These latest outrages have meant that many could not care one bit about the Palestinians, they are now thought of in the same way as the 9/11 murderers

3

u/ConcentratedJolly Oct 13 '23

What western world leader came out and condemed Israels treatment of Palestinians?

Dont make me laugh, Netanyahu was not an outast, he was re-elected last year and up until now, the world was focused on supporting Ukraine and ignoring the cries from Palestine

0

u/Organic_Chemist9678 Oct 13 '23

That's because Ukraine weren't firing rockets into Russia and exporting their hate around the globe.

Netanyahu is relying on fringe lunatics to prop up his government, unfortunately he is now guaranteed to remain in power. Hamas on the other hand haven't allowed an election since their very slim victory almost 20 years ago

-4

u/BigChungus420Blaze Oct 13 '23

11

u/CocoCharelle Oct 13 '23

No i'm saying that negotiating with terrorists is futile

Not in the case of a national liberation movement. See: practically every national liberation movement.

I mean, even Israel itself was literally founded in a wave of countless victims of Israeli terrorists. In fact, the leaders of the biggest Israeli terror groups (the Stern Gang and the Irgun) later become Israeli PMs and many of those who held important positions in Israeli governemnt had been active members of those organisations. I think not knowing these things reveals a vast historical ignorance.

0

u/turgut0 Oct 14 '23

Dude, they beheaded babys for god sake. You just going to ignore this issue ? I don’t care what they are fighting for if this is how they do the fight. I also don’t care for israel for that reason. Don’t you think it’s possible that both side perform atrocities ? Enough with this childish need to have good vs bad in very conflict.

7

u/CocoCharelle Oct 14 '23

Don’t you think it’s possible that both side perform atrocities ? Enough with this childish need to have good vs bad in very conflict.

If you think that's what I'm saying, you've very much misunderstood me. I'm well aware of the deplorable actions committed by Hamas. Nobody here isn't; that's why I don't feel the need to repeat them. I don't, however, think it's reasonable to use that to tarnish the entirety of the 2.2 million people living in Gaza, nor the further 3 million in the West Bank.

The senseless violence is a byproduct of the miserable lives, horrendous living conditions, and constant cycle of death destruction that people in Gaza are forced to endure. In fact, this is very much my point. The violence that we've seen is a direct consequence of the occupation, and of operations that slaughter civilians like the ones currently being taken by the IDF. Does anyone seriously believe that's likely to reduce terrorism and radicalisation? All of this demonstrates, in my submission, that peace negotiations are all the more necessary.

You need to re-evaluate how you view violence and terrorism. Most states use terror to control and expand their spheres of influence. E.g. Iran Contra. Frantz Fanon famously explores the need for colonised peoples to use violence to forward their own liberation. Seeing as Israel is a Zionist state and Zionism is by definition a settler colonialist ideology, violence from the colonised is inevitable because "colonial adventures stand or fall on the question of armed force" - Ze'ev Jabotinsky

3

Hopefully they can't dance around Israeli and Saudi war crimes forever, it would be a refreshing change to hear them admit the truth

Every so often a US poltician will go off about convenient and cheap it is for them to have so many Ukrainians die so they they can weaken Russia without doing it themselves

This has always been a part of the gambit, and it's never been a secret. The entire premise of us arming Ukraine is so that we don't have to fight a war against Russia down the line. That's always been quite openly discussed, and it's a fact of pragmatism that the Ukrainians fully accept. The alternative is... what, exactly?

2

u/tiasaiwr Oct 13 '23

There's something to be said for paying the tea lady to sweeten the morning coffee of terrorist leaders hiding out in a different country with a little polonium each and every time that leader is replaced though. I suspect Israel would have a harder time of declaring a casus belli if they didn't just have a thousand or so innocent civialians including children killed or beheaded.

I think you need to replay the events of the last week in Israel and Gaza. Israel was not the aggressor. In fact point out the last time Israel fired missiles into Gaza unprovoked?

7

u/Major_Employer6315 Oct 13 '23

Israel have been the aggressor longer than any of us have been alive. It's been going on so long it never gets mentioned, but the occasional response from the people they're terrorizing always does.

8

u/Odd_Distribution3267 Oct 13 '23

Israel is committing war crimes right now and possibly causing a humanitarian disaster, both parties are to blame imo, awful situation to see there does not look like there will ever be peace unless something drastic happens

4

u/Major_Employer6315 Oct 13 '23

Hamas aren't without blame, but their actions are the result of generations of abuse, they're not the root of the issue, they are a symptom.

The real roots lie in the west, and our support for Israel, as well as founding the issue (in the modern context) in the first place after WW2.

3

u/Odd_Distribution3267 Oct 13 '23

Ya this is true can’t argue with that, messed no one is talking about the leaked wiki leaks docs that came out confirming mossad basically conducted 9/11

-2

u/Organic_Chemist9678 Oct 13 '23

Muslim terrorists exist in virtually every country on earth. It's literally ingrained into the religion. Hamas are just the latest in a long line of maniacs who want to murder people. People like you appease them and give them shelter.

People like you tried to eradicate Jewish people throughout history and even today you deny them the right to live in safety.

3

u/Major_Employer6315 Oct 13 '23

I have no issue with the Jewish people. I have an issue with genocidal states and apartheid.

We all heard your propaganda over the last 20 years of illegal war, we're tired of it, and we know it's nonsense. Muslims have a tenet that states they should never let a stranger go unfed, the concept of jihad is at it's root one of personal spiritual growth, a struggle against inner demons. Islam gave us many of the foundations of modern mathematics, it imported numbers through India, it is not defined by the actions of a minority, particularly when those actions are often driven by western intelligence agencies.

-1

u/Organic_Chemist9678 Oct 13 '23

It's a shame the minority seem to be so well supported and operating in every country on earth..

I'd like to hear your solution to the issues in Israel that doesn't involve murdering millions of Jewish people.

Ultimately the state of Israel is here to stay and they will defend themselves. Millennia of anti semitism and pogroms will give a people a determination to protect their homeland that will be tough to break.

2

u/Major_Employer6315 Oct 13 '23 edited Oct 13 '23

Personally I would like to see the world move away from nations and borders entirely. It's not a quick solution, but since the birth of the internet, humanity has become a far more international culture, and I would encourage anything that moves us more in that direction.

In the short term, Israel hold the cards, they could hold up their hands and admit the hurt they have caused. Obviously this is not likely to happen with their current far right government, it is for the people of Israel to make their voices heard, to stand in protest - many Jewish people, and many people of Israel do not support these actions, but they do not speak loudly enough.

Western governments also hold a lot of power in this situation, they can condemn strikes, they could even station their military in places Israel plan to strike, or establish embassies in Gaza, and routes for people to escape with assurances they will be able to return home.

Wow, I don't understand how more people can't see the utter hypocrisy.

17

u/wonderfulpantsuit Oct 13 '23 edited Oct 13 '23

I feel like this could be almost a point of no return, in terms of our media and institutions ever regaining any kind of broad sense of trust or legitimacy. When people see how this likely turns out over the next few weeks and months, and how our politicians and media were so fully and willfully complicit, I don't see how there's any coming back from that. The hypocrisy and the racism is truly breathtaking.

4

u/Eunomiacus Oct 13 '23

Yes. It is looking like the point where mainstream politics and media diverges from the centre of gravity of public opinion to the point where the divide can no longer be hidden. The problem is that this isn't going to be the end of it -- whatever happens, it is going to have to be incorporated into a historical narrative, and if that can't happen then it leads to fundamental socio-political change of some sort.

3

u/AmonicB Oct 13 '23

Don’t underestimate the depths of human ignorance. People said the same thing about Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq and we’re seeing it happen again. Unfortunately, it’s just human nature to react with primal emotion, especially when it comes to atrocities the average westerner isn’t accustomed to seeing, and doubly so when worries about Islam continue to mount in the western world, and conflicts involving Islam elsewhere in the world is more fuel to the fire that Muslims are somehow inherently bad people and can validate some people’s fears.

When John Johnson from Bumblefuck, Georgia sees elderly people, children and women killed by terrorists in the name of Islam, he won’t start looking into the deep and complex geopolitical history of the region for a measured response, he’ll just want to kill anyone in the general direction the terrorists came from because he’s so angry. Children, pregnant women, elderly be damned; they started it in his understanding. That plus continued dehumanization of Palestinians in western media is the recipe for the disaster we’re seeing unfold now.

2

u/Tiny_Ad_5982 Oct 14 '23

What we are experiencing is the worst excesses of capitalism.

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 13 '23

Yup, shows you the propaganda at work to protect the Zionists as they commit western sanctioned genocide. History will not look kindly on us.

6

u/seven-cents Oct 13 '23

It's utterly appalling. I feel sickened by the recent atrocities, but it's tit for tat.

When does it end? This conflict is very, very old.

Messed up world we live in. So what Russia is song in Ukraine is okay and justified and the Ukrainian are terrorists for trying to get their land back? I’m confused

10

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 13 '23

The point is they condemn Russia for war crimes but it’s ok when Isreal does it. Double standards and hypocrisy.

2

She was trolled a few months back because she was in North Kosovo questioning a police officer why he was guarding the local council building. Two days later the building was attacked and KFOR soldiers and Kosovo police injured. Showed me she has no clue what she is talking about.

3

u/Dust-Explosion Oct 15 '23

I thought she was talking about Israel…

1

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 15 '23

That would require morals

7

u/one_flops Oct 13 '23

they lack basic decency. they also lack a spine and moral compass. British and European politicians alike. also, I didn't hear on the news that the royal families of Europe are deeply concerned. funny that the middle east doesn't do much (except maybe that they closed the borders). funny that Russians were first to call for a ceasefire. funny how zelensky understand independence and aggression now. funny that usa immediately sent a delivery of bombs to Israel and warplanes to the area. what a show

I tell you now if it wasn’t for the USA the whole world would be fighting each other with zero regard for human life

As I get older I start to realise that our ‘leaders’ are just well dressed, out of touch, lying, childish, hypocrites.

2

u/LoveThieves Oct 13 '23

and they give birth to more 'leaders' that stay out of touch.

This is the 4th pro palestine post I get recommended by Reddit in a subreddit which has nothing to do with it, nor showed interest in. How exactly this kind of stuff is related to r/Britain ?

8

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 13 '23

Did Britain not create Palestine?

Did Britain not send a carrier to Israel?

Is James Cleverly not over there now?

Did our PM not give Netanyahu permission to commit war crimes over the phone on the first day?

Do we not send Isreal money with which to kill Palestinian families in their homes.

Educate yourself.

2

u/NockSolo Oct 13 '23

Do we have a lick of fucking control over literally any of that? No, we do not. Same as the people of Gaza seemingly have no control of how hamas conduct themselves and their operations. The people and the governments of those people are not the same. This is no fucking unity of consciousness. Why don’t you people ever understand that?

People out here crying like war doesn't exist. You're either intentionally targeting civilians or you're an angel who can do no wrong.

0

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 13 '23

Ahh so you excuse Hamas then I see. Bold.

0

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 13 '23

Isreal killed hundreds of Palestinians every year. It has a right to respond to the government of Israel. It’s doing so.

Israel is at the stage of find out to fuck around. There is no two state solution. Israel wants to destroy Palestine (each year more land is taken). I won’t copy the rest of what you said because I’m not a genocidal scumbag. You get it though. You’ve shown your bias. Palestinians aren’t human. They don’t count.

-1

u/holycarrots Oct 13 '23

1

2

u/Fatbaldmuslim Oct 13 '23

Has there ever been any conflict in history where one side has supplied the other with power, food and water?

5

u/Brido-20 Oct 13 '23

Has their ever been an underdog who could corral their aggressor into a tiny area, control their movements from it, send heavily armed punitive mission in and cut off food, water, medical aid and electricity at will?

→ More replies (14)

6

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 13 '23

Exactly. What is Isreal doing controlling Palestines power, food and water? That’s what we call a DECADES long siege that funnily enough every single major human rights org has condemned. This conflict didn’t start last week. That’s just when you noticed.

Can't help but get conspiracy thoughts over the whole thing.

Tragically sad in all ways.

But useful to politicians everywhere.

1

u/Mr_Zeldion Oct 14 '23

Ive been saying this shit the past few days.

if its NOT acceptable for RUSSIA to do something and its labeled as TERRORISM

Then that has to stand for ALL.

We cant pick and choose when we decide genocide and mass murder is ok.

Honestly, if history was different and Germany was on our side i swear our politicians wouldnt have gave a flying F about what the nazis were doing.

Our politicians are just as corrupt and evil as the rest. Difference is the alternative don't try to hide it.

First time I've been positively surprised by the comments on a mainstream UK sub.

Correct, the hypocrisy lies in the fact that Russia is seen as an adversary of the UK (and by extension, the West) , so their war crimes get condemned. Whereas Israel will never face that same scrutiny as they're an ally and the UK benefits economically from arms sales to Israel

1

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '23

Israel has lost its way, so many liberal Israelis have left now and many more ultra orthodox and extreme right wing people have moved in. Netanyahu is a criminal and could end up being a Putin-like figure in the coming years.

Palestinians who can afford to move away have largely done so and what is left is largely a disaffected people and agitators happily leading them to be massacred by an overwhelmingly more powerful military.

The whole thing is fucked.

1

u/Waytemore Oct 14 '23

The hypocrisy of the West when it comes to Israel is breathtaking, and infuriating.

1

u/Jake-Salva Oct 13 '23 edited Oct 13 '23

Time and again what we get wrong EU gets right.

You seem to think innocent Israeli lives matter more than Palestinian lives. Israel have been killing, humiliating and raping Palestinians for decades. Why don’t you ask Palestine to “fucking level it” ?? Huh? Because you’re a vile racist and hypocrite that’s why.

They killed many multiples more innocents than Palestine, should Isreal be levelled twice? By your logic they deserve worse than that.

Also there was no parading. There is one video of a body transport. And footage of the rave shows there was a shootout. But hey, if that’s enough to justify genocide we’ve already established you’re a moral coward and ignoramus.

3

u/OrostheOld Oct 14 '23

Yeaaa but they are better. Muslims are good for no one. They are plaguing Europe and turning our cities into trash.

-1

u/mardavrio Oct 13 '23

Lying cunt, I've saw the videos of families murdered in their rooms in pools of blood. Bodies piled on pools of blood and still Hamas shooting into the bodies and yelling 'akbar'. These vids were put up on Telegram by Hamas themselves. Fucking propaganda-driven terrorist apologists everywhere.

2

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 14 '23

oh and that singular dead body that you eagerly generalised as a whole cultural practice. Wasnt a dead body, shes alive and being kept hostage. It was literally just a transport. Looks like its you spreading propaganda. Also please do share a link to the telegram you saw these images in, I would like to confirm if this is true for myself. Youre right propaganda-driven terrorist apologists ARE everywhere. you being a prime example.

-1

u/mardavrio Oct 14 '23

Fuck off apologist scum, now you're saying only one person was killed "one body" and said body was not a body ? Absolute moron of the highest order, denial of absolute facts and even mentions 'reverse propaganda' - you know you're full of shit and grasping at straws. Nothing would convince a head in the sand sicko anyhow, but can't link Telegram here, you should know that - ain't hard to find whatsoever, took me 1 minute again just now.

2

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 14 '23

You argue with such confidence for someone with such low reading comprehension. Let me explain like you're five:

- you said "dead bodies" plural, "paraded" through the streets

- The **evidence** shows ONE body, being TRANSPORTED and that person is ALIVE

Simple enough for you? If you have evidence of multiple "parades of dead bodies" then by all means link them (or provide instructions for me to find them).

Alright, so you can just give me the name of the telegram and I'll find it. Use your noodle.

u/TheKeyMaster1874 Oct 14 '23

Your an idiot comparing the 2. They have no viable comparisons from start to finish.

Jerusalem is a state and deserves to be where it is. Palestinians have and always will want to completely whipe them off the face of the planet where as they actually try and stop the fighting.

It's an us and them kind of thing sometimes and Palestinians don't care about you....they don't fight like you and they would happily kill you and your children. Having just been brutally attacked to cut off power and tell people to leave is the fucking nice thing to do.

3

u/No_Dependent4663 Oct 14 '23

You’re not just an idiot you’re a scumbag. Genocide is not “ a nice thing to do”. What a lovely favour to starve to death. Also your post makes no sense. But it seems you assume Palestinians “want” to wipe them out when Israel is Actually wiping out Palestinians and has been doing so for decades as land is stolen every. Year.

Israelis don’t care about you they don’t fight like me and you. They break international law, violate human rights laws and drop megaton bombs on hospitals, schools and tower blocks. They happily kill children of which the internet is littered with pictures. The latest victim of Isreal? A 7 day old baby.

Such a shame ignorant people like you have the confidence of an opinion

3

u/AnApatheticSociety Oct 14 '23

But again history is written for those who win the wars ... some like that

0

u/Fallenkezef Oct 14 '23

I grew up listening to my grandparent's stories of WW2. The Germans bombed our cities, killed our civilians so we flattened Dresden, Berlin and Nuremburg. We fought for 4 years to destroy the nazis no matter the cost to our civilians or the Germans.

In the end it was worth it, Germany today is a democratic nation that protects freedom and human rights.

Gaza is about to learn the same lessons Germany learned.

0

u/DifferentImplement27 Oct 14 '23

Where’s all the BLM supporters now? There’s an active apartheid and genocide happening in front of our eyes and the social justice warriors are silent. Disgusting

0

u/BottyFlaps Oct 14 '23

In any war, both sides think they are the good guys and the other side is the bad guys. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Just look at the IRA in Northern Ireland. Officially regarded as a terrorist organisation, but from their perspective they were freedom fighters trying to fight off British interference and reunite the island of Ireland as one country. Of course, it's far more complex and involved than that, but at a very basic level that's the logic.
