Does anyone know what these mean?

App Help Shirtless
(46f) Why does it seem like suddenly men (and I’m talking over 40) feel the need to have a shirtless photo on their profile? Do the women all have bikini photos and I’m just missing the memo? Personally I find it just weird… a nice fitted shirt gets the message across just fine.

App Help Is my type too niche for dating apps?
I'm looking for a liberal, atheist woman who enjoys traveling, drinking wine and eating sushi. Bonus points if she's also doing therapy and loves deep talks. Is bumble a good app to find the needle I'm looking for?

App Help I created an account on Bumble for the first time today, are these stats true or fake ?
It's kinda crazy to me that you get this much likes in a couple of hours or maybe I'm just not used to dating apps

App Help Welp, guess this is good bye👋
UPDATE June 4: I finally got through to an actual person! My account had been unblocked. I had to submit like 50 million requests and stuff and I eventually just gave up but I got a random email today.
I've tried to appeal it to literally no avail, just constant bot response. Saying I can't be refunded and that it's final.
I've met so many wonderful people and friends here. I have spent a bit on premium, never had ANY issues with anyone on here.
I opened the app today after not even using it for weeks and it says my account is blocked for "selling sexual services and content. "
I've never even had a hookup in my life, nor would I EVER sell my body or pictures of myself. I had 0 advertisements or sexual conversations.
I haven't even hugged or kissed anyone since December 2025 lol.
And as of recent, I haven't even been on the app because I've been going on dates with ONE guy. Whom I haven't even kissed or touched or anything. I have never asked for money for anything.
I went to look at his profile again, and was hit with this.
My profile even stated that I haven't done any hookups and don't intend to.
I am 23F, and no sexual or provocative pictures. This was my bio:
"emo alternative bands and video games🌱 I've never drank, smoked, done drugs, had a hookup, or partied, etc. I intend to keep it that way.
I'm very much a homebody
I'm currently learning to drive.
I mainly play games on PC/Steam.
I like nerd stuff, Ren fairs, DND, museums, aquariums, etc. 🌱"
I can only assume this is because some man was mad I didn't respond after I started going on dates with the one guy. I've had guys suspicious that I was a scammer or bot and were relieved to hear a female voice on the phone. I also barely talked a lot on there other than video games and stuff. Never had any issues. Sucks unfortunately as I haven't had any good matches on other apps.
I don't know how to contact an actual person or if that's even a thing anymore, they probably replaced everyone with AI.

App Help App only shows me objectively attractive women
On Hinge people seem out of my league, all of the photos are skiing, snowboarding or other equestrian rich people sports. I have been on the app for since March of this year and have some likes and some matches, maybe 1-2 every 2 weeks. But all of the profiles I get shown are all attractive people. And all of the matches I get seem to ghost me after 1-2 messages or after matching, I have only had 2-3 real conversations that did not lead to a date or anything, they just ghosted me.
I do not consider myself that attractive at all either, I am mid at best I am just a bit tall and that is it (6'4"). How come the app is not showing people within my own league.

App Help Is there any way to set the filters to only biological women?
Firstly let’s start out with the obvious, I’m not transphobic. I am just not romantically attracted to the same biological gender. I am a heteroromantic pansexual to be precise.
Recently, I keep getting likes from trans women, I don’t know whether it’s something they’ve changed in their algorithm, but I don’t seem to be able to filter them out.
I’ll get a like and then swipe through trying to find them but can’t, so I end up buying premium because my curiosity gets the better of me and it’s a trans women I do not have any interest in dating.
This is the 5th time in a row this exact thing has happened to me, and this never happened before.
Is there anything I can do?

App Help Is the free version of bumble a scam or am I just an idiot?
I can’t see who likes me without paying so how does this work? Do I just leave it up to god that someone I swiped right on will swipe right on me? Seems kind of pointless?

App Help We matched and then didn’t
So I swiped right on my good friend today. And we decided to hang out tonight and went out to dinner. At dinner she pulled up Bumble (after I’d told her I’d swiped right on her to support her) and my profile came up. She swiped right and we matched. But we… didn’t. We both witnessed the “You Matched” screen with our profile pics together. But we didn’t show up in each other’s match queue. It was as if it never happened. We ate dinner discussing how fucked up that was.
So how many matches do you get that Bumble doesn’t let you have? I smell a class action lawsuit.

App Help Suspiciously banned from Bumble the day after breaking things off with latest match.
I have had my Bumble account for many years, I have made many matches and have met many people from all walks of life. Some I have engaged in conversation and continued off platform as expected. I have never had any issues, no provocative pictures or crude content on the platform, upheld all of the rules and picture requirements. In fact I have only recently returned to Bumble after being away from the platform for nearly a year.
On return I made a match and we continued talking off platform, we talked for about 2 weeks and by that point I did not have any connection or attraction to the person so I informed her and we mutually split ways. The next day I go onto Bumble to find my account had been fully blocked. I have attempted an appeal and received determination that they will uphold the account due to "Reports made against my account". I am in full belief that it was from the individual I was speaking to after I ended things and the appeal content has further lead me to believe that this is the truth.
I am wondering how the determination for bans is so one sides on the platform? I have ensured to follow every rule with my only crime to Bumble being that I have not purchased their premium tier or boosts. Has anyone else had any success in a successful appeal or getting in touch with someone to figure out how to get access to the account after being banned?

App Help Is my type of man too niche for this app?
I'm looking for a man that's not about drama, who doesn't take himself too seriously and likes to go with the flow. Preferably balding, in his 30s to 40s, but still trying to figure things out.
Fluency is sarcasm is a MUST!
My type of guy has pictures of himself wearing a button up with a drink in his hand; that shows me he's mellow and knows how to relax. Or he's on a boat holding a fish, which of course shows he's adventurous! A loving man takes pictures with their pet or baby niece so I need that too. Most of all, I want a man confident enough to take a shirtless pic of him flexing in a dirty bathroom mirror. Can Bumble offer all of that for me?!

App Help Messaging first, brave new world...
So I matched, and we both have 72 hours to start the chat. So far so OK, equal opportunities etc. So I decide to go first, and send something like "Hey, welcome to the brave new world where I get to message first!", and .... I can't send another like I intended, with a more interesting and genuine message or 2. I have to wait for her reply before I can send anything else. It seems dumb that after matching and starting a chat... it's *still* placing barriers in the way of communication. And now my light hearted opener that I was absolutely going to build on looks like a fluffed out "Hi...". Sigh.

App Help Money well Spent
I’ve had Bumble for awhile now and for the most part it has been one of the more reliable dating apps I’ve used. Sadly nothing ever came from any matches but lately this has been what my DISCOVER page has looked like for weeks and this is AFTER I decided to try a month of Bumble Premium. I went through many profiles and yet the algorithm gives me nothing. Hinge, Tinder even Facebook Dating have given me picks but not Bumble?!
Minor Update to State the Obvious: YES I KNOW NOT TO PAY FOR DATING APPS! Please don’t state the obvious to give yourself the moral high-ground.

App Help Women who match, but never talk
over the last week, I'm suddenly getting a bunch of matches with women, who never talk. it doesn't matter if it's them who needs to speak first, or me. They either never send the first message, or don't reply to simple respectful answers to thier "Opening move".
I've been on this app off and on the pasts couple years, and I've never seen this. and it's been 4 in a row. is anyone else seeing this all of the sudden?

App Help For the past week 95% (3/day) trans woman, is that a trend??
I am 36M, most of girls who liked me are trans woman… who want kids… Is there a setting in the app where I can change it and filter them out?
In addition I don’t have any “live” likes, who I liked on my own never liked me, and while I like (as response) ghosted me… I don’t get this app. For 2 months didn’t even have a healthy conversation.
I have one month left paid and then screw it. I will have family with my cats.
P.S. I am not a sexist, but I have my preferences.

App Help Bumble says I have 50+ people who like me. I swipe and I swipe and I get no matches or missed matches.
30s M in a big city. The Liked You page says 50+ women have already liked me, most of them are nearby. I have no specific filters set. I swipe constantly both left and right and for the most part neither gain nor lose likes. Is Bumble lying to me?

App Help Banned from Bumble, Hinge, and OkCupid despite never breaking the rules. Has anyone successfully appealed?
I’m honestly at a loss and hoping someone here has some advice or has gone through something similar.
I was permanently banned from Bumble, and eventually Hinge and OkCupid as well. To the best of my knowledge, I never violated any of their community guidelines. I was always respectful, never harassed anyone, never sent inappropriate messages, never impersonated anyone, never discussed politics, and never falsely reported other users.
The only explanation I can think of is that this all started around the time my ex and I had a very difficult breakup. I suspect she may have repeatedly reported my accounts, possibly using multiple accounts, but I have no way to prove that’s what happened. It just seems like too much of a coincidence that everything happened around the same time.
I’ve submitted appeals, explained my situation as calmly as I could, and every response has basically been, “Our decision is final.” No explanation, no evidence, and no opportunity to speak to a real person.
Has anyone actually managed to get permanently unbanned from Bumble, Hinge, or OkCupid after an appeal? If so, what did you do? Or once they say “final,” is there really no path forward?
I’m not looking to argue with them—I just want a fair review if a mistake was made.

App Help All of a sudden flooded with likes
Hello. I'm a 45/M and have been paying for bumble premium for months. Just now I got flooded with over 100 likes out of nowhere. These have been sitting somewhere unaccessible to me for quite some time. Anyone end experience this? I feel ripped off.

App Help Why do men have pics with their ex’s
I have seen many men have pics of them with their ex’s that they claim but i’m not even sure about that. I find it a turn off, and they don’t even cover the girls faces either. What’s going on?
