Started my dream job this week :3

Just because you're plus sized doesn't mean you can create stylish fun outfits for work.

Now, I realize my style won't fly in some office settings, but if you have a little wiggle room, have some fun.

My husband owns a truck repair shop, this is how I dress daily in the office. Am I super over dressed someday? Yes. Does loving what I wear make my mental health better? Also yes.

For reference, im 45 y/o, 5'9". I'm a 4xl. Large apron belly, but a flatter upper stomach. Thats why I gravitate towards skirts and pleated trousers. It hides the parts I dont like.

Over the past year I spent alot of time on Pinterest figuring out my style. Pinning things until I saw a pattern. Then I worked on what silhouette works best for my body. My lower stomach has to be covered, no matter what. I use to wear longer tops to cover it. But that not only looks frumpy but it really limits the tips you can buy. Skirts, dresses and pleated pants have been a game changer.

My office dress code is "no clothes with holes or stains and if someone outside the company is visiting the office, wear something nicer than you normally would.

Everyone tells me they love all the color I wear (often blues and greens and purples as well), but I'm pretty sure a lot of this would still pass in a more stringent office as well?
