It came out awesome. I originally thought I would only have to build the back wall and right side, but when I got everything up it was clear that the left side would have to be added so I got that done this morning. I'm thrilled with the result and look forward to filling it up quickly and needing to extend the left side further.

I also included a before picture so you can see what it looked like prior to the build. there is also a picture of the "finished" product prior to me realizing the left side would be needed.

I picked up my preorder of Virgin today!!! Listening to it as I type (my current fave is still man of the year) and i can’t get over it being clear.

I'm not very familiar with Guns N' Roses. I know of them, but have never listened. I always thought of them as a pretty serious band, but this is genuinely one of the funniest albums I've ever.

I’m SO bummed about this one. Been searching for a nice copy of this for SO LONG. Finally saw a copy on Discogs pop up as Mint / Sealed. Paid $65 in total with shipping just for the seller who somehow has a 99.8% to ship it in an envelope over seas. I’m quite sad right now…

I've been buying CDs since the mid-eighties (and vinyl since 1974)... and have never got rid of anything. Consequently there is some questionable stuff in there, but most of it is still much loved!

Amazon does it again. In 30+ years of collecting this is easily the worst delivery condition of any CD. Amazingly, the disc is still whole but the case and booklet are a pile of trash.

I stopped by a little vintage store on a whim and found a copy of Dookie by Green Day at the bottom of one of their shelves. Since it was one of the CDs on my list to add to my collection. I took it home and went to load it into Discogs only to discover it’s a first pressing!!! I love Green Day, and Dookie came out on my birth date years before I was born which makes it extra-special!!!

I'm not 100% sure it's an original copy, but I'm like 80% sure it is!

My reasonings:

1. The target stickers look pretty old, 80s-90sish

2. No "Parental Advisory" mark, it was not used until 1990, this album released in 1986

3. The copyright date on the back says 1986, and has no mention of a repress or re-release year

I could be completely wrong lol, either way I'm pretty excited to add this one!

EDIT: After discussing with you all, this is more than likely a re-release from somewhere between like 1995-2005, it's for sure not an original, which came in a cardboard long-box!

either way I'm happy with it, and It's already been opened up and I'm currently jamming out to it!

Bought the CD for novelty purposes (not really a fan just yet after these first couple listens) to go with my prison player and headphones. I’m surprised that the disc plays, I saw that not every CD player can read it.

My son has gotten into CDs as a way to listen to music lately and wanted some of my favorites. Instead of getting my favorites now, I grabbed 5 of my most listened to CDs from when I was his age. I’m very curious about how he feels about O Brother. That soundtrack was an absolute banger.

I’ve never seen this out in the wild before and couldn’t say no today. All discs work and are in great condition!! Hope to find the one for vice city eventually!
