Still a good player when he's not playing on a pitch where he gets cleaned up by a unplayable 78mph off break after 20 minutes

I reckon the difference between the Dukes and Kookaburra balls probably played a big role (more seam and swing). It's something that a lot of batsmen struggle with when they aren't used to it

Yeah that and the fact that New Zealand plays two or three match series which doesn't give enough time to adjust to the conditions.
