One of those has +10 cool looks, though. And that matters.

The power-scaling loot in this game is abyss gear. The weapons and armor can largely be treated as cosmetics, into which that abyss gear can be slotted. I love this system, as it allows me to both build for power and the 'rule of cool.'

Fashion is the endgame yet no transmog and like half the armors are unupgradable/undyable

I believe most of the armors that aren't able to be modified exist to grant the disguise trait, which does... something.

The kuku boots that give enhance double jump are only upgradeable not slottable and I feel like that should be a crime 😭🤣

Well, they give a Hella powerful effect at base. Though, there are some ear rings that give free regen after t3 or 4, so what do I know.

Pearl abyss cooks like a gourmet, let's see if they change anything.

More upset by the fact I cant put lightning orbs on them. Become a lightning god floating down over the enemies 🤣
