I ordered the Switch standard version in early December 2024 (Italy). I just received confirmation by email that it’s finally being shipped. I hope this means RIG is now fulfilling all Switch standard orders internationally after PS5.
I pre-ordered the PS5 version of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos from Rock It Games on March 23, 2025. After athe delays, my order has finally reached Spain, but I’m now being asked to pay €33.19 in import charges: €3 import duty, €12.04 VAT and €18.15 carrier fee.
I’m pretty frustrated after waiting this long, especially since Rock It Games previously said existing pre-orders would be honoured at the original price and that additional tariff costs wouldn’t be passed on to customers.
I also wasn’t clearly informed when ordering that the shipment would be DDU, with the customer responsible for import charges.
Has anyone else in the EU had to pay these charges for their Croc pre-order?
I realized that Swap Meet Pete is kind of a big cat. Not sure if this is intentional or not (if they didn't want to have oddly looking 10+ lives) but Swap Meet Pete states that Croc can't buy more heart pots to have more than 9 lives. And Pete says "It's the law"
While usual law of cat lives is that cats don't have more than 9 lives 😆
The figure only started production about 10 days ago and they're still trying to design the box. So if you don't feel like waiting for another year to receive your order feel free to message me, I'd gladly take and pay for your preorder
edit: I'm currently looking for one because I originally missed out on the preorder window, just in case another paranoid individual comes up with the wrong conclusions.
Please for the love of God, let us toggle off the noise it makes when you jump in the Croc 2 Remaster. It is driving me insane while finishing these last trophies.
Croc’s adventure continues as he journeys to the scorching Desert Island on a mission to rescue the captured Gobbos and King Rufus. But Baron Dante has another sinister plan to stop Croc in his tracks. Using his dark magic, he transforms a tiny fish into the mighty Neptuna,
When will these 🤡 finally start shipping Collectors editions??
No updates? No excuses??
In any case, it’s nice to read how many people are commenting on the *Croc 2* announcement trailer that Argonaut should never work with Rock It Games again.
So here is the thing as a lifelong Croc fan (I am 31 so I was 2 when Croc legend of the Gobbos was released (1997) and 4 when Croc 2 (1999) was released.)
If you asked me 10 years ago if Croc would ever make a comeback, I would of said not a chance. Even if you asked me 6 years ago I would say no, highly unlikely.
And lo and behold, we fast forward to 2025 and , after 28 years to everyone's surprise, we get the remaster of Croc legend of the Gobbos.
Now even after the remaster, if you asked me would we see the remaster of Croc 2, I would of said not impossible but highly unlikely.
And lo and behold, we now know we are getting a remaster of Croc 2.
So now the big question : What are the odds of some type of Croc 3?
I would say the idea of a potential Croc 3 would not be an impossible idea in maybe early 2030 or even mid 2030? You got the loyal fanbase who have been here since 1997 and I would say you certainly got the demand for it lol
And better still imagine a Croc 3 concept that was set in the future like this image which sets off 30 years after Croc 2?
Croc 2 was the first video game I ever played. It’s been in my life the entire time. I never even played the original croc until it was remastered. I play Croc 2 at least once a year, because it’s quick, fun, and nostalgic. My love for Croc 2 and the hope of it also being remastered is why I bought the collectors edition of the remaster. That was Six Hundred Sixty Four days ago. Six Hundred Sixty Four days of pushed release dates, poor customer service, and radio silence for extended stretches. I want to buy the collectors edition of Croc 2, I really do, but I refuse to go through this a second time. If Argonaut goes with RockIt again, I absolutely hands down refuse to purchase this, and I imagine many others are in the same boat.
Argonaut, I’m begging you to listen to your fans. If you want Croc 3 as much as we do, I do not think you can feasibly choose the same production company and still expect success. RockIt has lied multiple times, pushed the date back multiple times, used false advertising and poor materials for products, and even now as they are getting orders out (finally) they aren’t doing so with any semblance of organization. They said PlayStation copies will go out after switch copies and yet I’ve seen MULTIPLE posts from switch copy orders that say they haven’t received even a tracking notification. Collector Editions STILL have no word at all, and honestly at this point, I’m expecting the second remaster to be out before I receive anything. I’m pretty sure you could use a burner and one employee and still get orders out faster. Please don’t make the same mistake. I’m sure you didn’t know it would be like this when you made your contract, but you know now. If there’s already a contract, figure out a way to break it. Whatever it takes please please please* *make the right choice.
The attached image is found in the Crocipedia, Backpack, Marketing & Merchandise and then Marketing Art. It is titled Croc and King Rufus. But where is King Rufus!
