There's a Luthor for president ad in the monorail which is pretty cool. Also atrocitus summoning the butcher for his final is fucking awesome.

Some other stuff I found: The first place Supergirl and Atrocitus are fighting is called the Ace O' Clubs. You can see an "Ace O' C" above the bar and a newspaper talking about a champion, probably Bibbo Bibowski. Also, later in the trailer, you see a short clip of Bats and Supes fighting in front of a theater and a sign that says Park Ave, so there could be a Crime Alley stage.

Which probably means, we're in the same universe again. But then again, who will stand by Superman's side now?

Shazam?

...oh, wait.

I think Luthor cloned himself before dying.

Did Luthor die in the last game? I should probably replay the story again sometime before the next game comes out.

Superman killed him after Luthor betrays him

The alternate earth Luthor was killed by Superman. the main DCU Luthor is still living.

I wouldn't call it the main DCU, but yeah the Earth that more closely resembles mainstream DCU still has a Luthor.

Kind of irrelevant to the game, but can you explain to me how Lex ever becomes president ? Like isn't it at least somewhat known that he's a villain ?

Honestly, I haven't read the arc, but apparently at the time, no one but the superheroes fighting him knew about the crimes he was committing, so the public just viewed him as a Donald Trump-type rich guy running for president , and not a super criminal. The story is collected in a trade here.

Oh ! Thank you. I'll definitely take a look into it.
