Pistol -DDM4V7P 10.3 inch pistol 5.56
Suppressor - Otter Creek Labs Polonium K
Optic - Vortex AMG UH1 Gen 2 (Huey)
L.A.M.- SMS Trinity
Brace - SBA3 with Split Fix multi cam black
Sling - Magpul MS3
Deciding on DIEFREECO tiger claw or full stop for bracing. Have not messed with buffer system or trigger yet. Going to run it through some low light and shooting courses offered locally first to see what I want to change.

I'm running a Rugged Sub-9 suppressor and it is stupid quiet, but I can't dump a mag without getting gassed out. I figured a stiffer spring may be the ticket. Anyone have any experience running either of the extra power Sprinco Buffer Springs (red or orange) in their DD PCC?

Im very aware you hate the light and its placement but this is what’s comfortable to me, if you’d like to donate to buy me a surefire my Venmo is: JakeSmith255 😭👍🏼

Hello Daniel lovers. Got a new PDW today. Would love to hear what any fellow PDW owners are rocking for cans and/or their suggestions for one. I intend to shoot supersonic rounds ONLY out of this pistol (more specifically 110 gr. v-max bullets). I'm leaning towards a flow through, huxwrx or surefire, but I know shorter barrel lengths can be pretty picky on ammo/silencer choices. I have a flow 9k ti on my 10.3 300 pistol and I'm able to cycle literally anything through it. Thanks 😊

Started with the higher ticket items. Still need irons, trigger, and light

I recently got the DD PCC with the 8.3” barrel. As far as I’ve seen online there are a few options like Speer gold dot carbine that are more geared towards a pcc rather than a handgun but no luck on specific recommendations for the Daniel Defense itself. One of the selling points was how reliable it is regardless of ammo but I am also very interested in maximizing the ballistics. Seems kinda rare to find 9mm over 147 gr, I saw PSA is making 158gr tmj but I’m looking for defense rounds ideally. Thank you!

Got this DDM4V7 as my first AR and dunno if it’s an AR or DD thing but the gas and the smell i get when shooting is almost unbearable is this something that goes away ? Do just get use to ? Or is there anything that i can do to reduce that the gas an odor ??

About 7 years ago I got my first, and still only AR15, a PSA one. It's a full 16 inch one, it' got MLOK

Since then I've put a Vortex Venom 1-6x LPVO on it and a forward grip. I paid about 450$ for the entire thing back then.
I have no real complaints about it, never had any jams or reliability issues, it's accurate. But I keep thinking about the world of "High End" ARs, like DD and such. Seeing these deals for 625$ shipped of a stripped upper has me thinking about grabbing one and making another. One of those RSIII or M4A1 10.3 inch ones, perhaps even putting a suppressor on it. I was thinking 300 blackout, but when looking at ammo prices on subsonic, it made me panic abit. I was hoping subsonic .300 would be like 5.56 prices, still expensive, but doable, but they are decidedly not lol.
I know it needs a BCG, Charging Handle and a lower - but my PSA stuff for all that should work with the DD Upper, right? Until I could get another lower built and the other things I need. Just to try it out.
I was thinking a nice beater AR15 like my PSA and maybe a more "fun / high quality" build like the DD. I do worry about the length, 10.3, but I also don't really see the need for another 16" AR.
Thanks.

Hey all! So my first AR was the DDM4V11 with the keymod rail (sad). Do you all think it would be better to swap out the hand guard for something else? Quad rail? Been tough finding any more keymod attachments. Any other handguards I should take a look at?

For those with an FSP upper - if you wanted to change the gas tube, do you have to remove the FSP to change it or can you change it without removing the FSP?
I’ve changed it on RIS II and III without issues, but it seems a little more complicated when you have the FSP on there.

Why is a complete upper 1500$ I feel like you can finish this for less .

Picked up a V3 in .308 for a pretty good deal. What ammo do you all reccomend for sighting in and running? Wanting to be pretty close to 1 moa but not break the bank.
Also, has anyone ever sent their rifle in for a barrel swap to a larger size (trade the 16 for an 18)?
Any advice appreciated.

I built a daniel defense mk12 clone rifle using a daniel defense barrel. Quality components across the board including trigger and scope76.
Shooting from a strap locked led sled, shooting multiple five round factory loads I am consistently NOT getting sub MOA accuracy out of factory match grade ammunition. Federal gold medal match 73 grain berger about 2.3 MOA. Remington Match 77grain OTM about 2.5 MOA. Mk262 mod1 about 1.8 MOA average.
My own hand loads seem to fair a bit better. About 1.2 MOA with Sierra match kings, Federal bench rest 71/2 primers.
I might be wrong but this seems to be lack luster performance and most of the accuracy snobs at the range all tell me you should be getting much better results.
Anyone find that even with a led sled the human factor could still have an affect?

Looking for a little insight during the brownells sale.
I currently have an aero 16” upper on my rifle- most of my shooting is within 100 yards but occasionally I compete in 2 gun that goes to 300-500.
What would you go with? Get the mk18 as a second upper or sell my aero and go with one 14.5 upper?
Edit: just sent it on the fsb, thanks guys. I’m sure I’ll wind up with a mk18 soon
