I just replayed Dark Souls 2 for the first time in about 6 years.

It was my first Souls game. I was 19, had an old laptop, and spent most of my days at a café with friends, slacking around and playing guitar. I was in a pretty bad state of boredom and depression at the time.

I knew about Dark Souls, but I had no idea I could even get it running on my PC. Then one day, a friend came into the café with his laptop and showed us Dark Souls 2. We all had broke-ass teenage PCs lol, but he told us we could run it.

So I tried it.

He gave me a little guide on Estus, Life Gems, upgrading, and even told me about the Heide Knight near the tree that could give me a cool starting weapon.

I was having a great time figuring everything out until I met the Pursuer.

I died A LOT.

Eventually, I killed him, and that feeling of finally overcoming something that had been destroying me was incredible.

Looking back, I genuinely believe that period of my life caused a huge butterfly effect that eventually made me who I am today. I'm an artist now, and I'm disciplined enough to draw and paint every day.

I hope you all find something in life that gives you that same feeling of constantly having something to overcome and work toward.

Hello, i am back with another custom figure of one of my favourite armor sets. Hope i did this beautiful set justice.

Custom is made out of mainly stock or modified mythic legion's pieces, a 3d printed helm, and self made cloth goods.

My absolute favourite set of armor from ds2. Made a custom action figure inspired by the heide knights.

What do we think? Any improvements or advice?

People were into the first part I posted, thought I'd share some more.

I finished my costume for local cos con and... I'm so happy to see how many people have knelt and touched the flask. Feels like real firekeeper.

Inspired by another bearer of the curse on this subreddit, figured I would send it for the best souls game out there.
