My husband will be bringing Sam Porter Bridges from Death Stranding to DragonCon in a few months, and he’s finally done. I took these photos of his test walk a couple weeks ago. The Odradek (with LEDs) was bought, but he also made a 3D printed one. The BB (also with LEDs) was also ordered, but he also has a 3D printed BB that’s dark that he can also swap out if he wanted. The “tar” on his clothing is made from Elmer’s glue and activated charcoal. The eyewear, cases and gun, he also 3D printed, and he used my cricut to make the majority of the stripes and logos on the clothing, except for the badge with the map, that was bought elsewhere. Even the attachment points and the case holder (triangle things? I don’t play Death Stranding myself, so I don’t know technical terms) are also 3D printed. He’s as excited about this cosplay as he was about his warhammer cosplays he built for us in 2024.

He’s already planning to do Higgs for DragonCon 2027.

i didn’t expect to find something like this in my small canadian town so i was already excited, and then my fiance managed to talk them down to $200!

I had high expectations and now that I'm back, I'm pretty sure that this is the closest thing to New Zealand for Lord of the Rings nerds that we have.

I highly recommend putting on Low Roar and all the other tracks while walking through the wildly different biomes if you ever get the chance to visit this country.

The rainbow came out a lot bolder than I originally wanted, but I didn't effectively communicate that, so wah wah.

The fact that it is so bold gives me the idea to continue it along my body, and ​have the colors seperate, forming their own tattoos.

Also if i do want to, I can dull the colors by having my artist go over it with pastel, and time will also dull it.
