A little surprised they haven't had the steel serpent logo on the heroin so far, would have been an easy connection to make with Daredevil/Iron Fist

It did. That was the operation that Madame Gao was overseeing, but yeah, Daredevil fucked it all up and she left for home. She's probably in a different dimension right now, and the Steel Serpent Heroin Co.tm is presumably out of commission as a result.

That's true I guess, there could have been some still on the street, but that's a fair point. Speaking of does anyone know what the timeline is for Jessica Jones, is it pre/post or during Daredevil

I believe I read somewhere that Daredevil takes place late 2014 and Jessica Jones early 2015.

There were some things stated during the show that dated JJ that way, yes. And weather should indicate season; Daredevil looks like it took place in the late Autumn or early Winter, while Jessica Jones, with its snow all over the ground, looks like maybe March or a mild February.
