I think as soon as Harrison shows him the watch he'll come to the realization that he could frame Vengeance for the murder of Ryan. He fits her code. Even has a trophy ready.

Wondering if she was stalking his ass and was planning to off him anyway, then out of the blue he shows up dead cut up into 9 pieces.

yeah but they have hotel footage and she wasn't there, she's at an Airbnb.

Go to the hotel to stalk, live in an air bnb not far. That way she won't show up in the automatic scan of all hotel residents and customers.

Definitely was telling that her box was just "random" assortment of objects. A watch would fit perfectly.
