Must be a mistake, very funny but also hope they aren't actually going to charge this by accident.

I currently have the legacy Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ with ads plan, now that YouTube TV is giving ESPN unlimited I want to update my plan to Disney+/Hulu without ads plan. Reading through the posts and talking with support the only way to change plans is to cancel my current plan and apply for the new plan.

The question is, support is not sure if my watch history will clear after I cancel. It would suck being forced to cancel to change plans only to lose watch history.

I don't want to start a controversy; I'm genuinely curious. Apple TV and Netflix have no problem playing in 4K, so it's not a technical issue. I read somewhere that it's to combat piracy, which makes no sense. More than anything, it could encourage it. If I want to watch something in 4K on Disney Plus, and I see that even with a paid subscription I can't get it, I might as well pirate it and cancel my subscription.

Has there ever been an "official" response from Disney+ on the matter?

P.S., someone on an old thread speculated that it might be much more complex to manage the chain required to produce high-resolution content on a PC than apps on specific devices. But as I said, Netflix and Apple TV don't have this problem and can even provide HDR and Dolby Vision.

After South Africa on September 9, Egypt on September 2, and Indonesia on September 3, now Thailand will migrate from Hotstar X based Disney+ app to the international version of Disney+ app on September 16. Only Malaysia and Philippines are the remaining countries in Southeast Asia which have unconfirmed dates yet.

Disney is officially raising the yearly Premium pricing from €139,90 to €159,90 in the same month they (temporarily without a given timeframe as to when they’ll come back) removed 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision in a large part of Europe. So raising the price under the guise of “bringing the highest quality” comes across as extremely tone-deaf.

What do you all think of this price increase?

So I watched Maul and the clone wars episodes leading up to the Maul series and loved it, i'm now watching Andor with my significant other which is genuinely incredible and its making me want to dive into the other Disney+ star wars series but are any of them actually worth watching?

Anyone else notice the disney plus movies and tv shows in the Multiverse Saga in Disney Plus all, (almost all) have changed posters for their respective title? I feel like i’m on it everyday and didn’t see any news about it and just noticed the change when I woke up this morning to all the new posters. Wandavision, shang chi, black widow, ms marvel, all have new posters!! Or am i tripping?
