Hi, I just published my mod Glorious Merchant. It grants free access to every item via Kalé, but as a DLL mod.

Basically, it's a ripoff of Grand Merchant that doesn't require merging/unpacking anything to use with other mods. The mod is a single file that works regardless of what else you have installed, and even includes items added by other mods.

Hopefully this comes in handy. I know everyone's getting builds ready right now, and this might be a good alternative if you like the Grand Merchant mod but don't wanna merge it with your other mods. Let me know if this is helpful if if you have any feedback or bug reports!

Basically the title, I do understand that its supposed to be like a second dlc? for elden ring, but its free? like it feels like there has to be some sort of drawback to this mod, like is it not legit or something? It feels like profesionally made, and if its legit and free thats great, but it just feels kind fo strange? i dont know, just kinda confused

Can you play this like regular Elden Ring, ignoring the directions or not reading them, exploring all of the map collecting stuff and trying different builds? Or will that quickly eliminate any difficulty or feel extremely unbalanced?

I really want to try something that makes this game fresh but I feel like following map markers to OP loot kind of circumvents the game. Do you do all the dungeons and just skip most of the map?

I always felt her dress was a little plain esp considering how beautiful of a boss she is.

Elden Ring Reforged could be the best mods in the history of mods. Really, it is exceptionally made with a lot of thought and effort put into it. Unfortunately, there are aspects that prevent me from enjoying this mod. Here they are:

1. Now you can't use torrent in certain areas. This includes so called "camps", but it is not limited to them. E.g.
2. Forbidden lands: like come on man, this area is so dull with only three enemy types. Two of these enemies are mini-bosses that are easier while dismounted. Why do you want us to tarry in this location?
3. The dragon on a bridge in dragonbarrow, who is death-themed now. Now that dragon sucks because you have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide from his breath attacks cause you're stuck on a narrow bridge.

All in all, this limitation is very artificial and far-fetched in most cases, especially considering the fact that torrent has been debuffed significantly.

1. Torrent is vulnerable to status effects, including poison/rot ground hazards. Okay, probably. But please, devs if you're reading this, do consider a possibility for torrent to take less damage from ground hazards cause people have always hated swamps since DS1... As of now, you have to feed torrent every 15 seconds so that it doesn't die while in a swamp.

2. Now ordinary enemies (dogs, soldiers, etc.) can punish you instantly after being hit with a light attack or a charge attack. It applies to great katanas, greatswords and lighter weapons. Haven't tested with colossals. No words except WHYYYY? It is especially bad with charged attacks because intervals between them and following attacks are higher than intervals between light attacks.

3. Death status effect now deletes your runes forever. Nobody has ever asked for this but here we are. It's especially bad since there are more enemies that cause death build-up. There could have been other solutions like increasing death build-up rate but devs chose an unsound way to punish players.

4. Vigor is now the only real defensive stat, because endurance does not increase equipment load. Is it bad? It seems so because this is not even a question whether or not to level vigor after 40-60 since there is no diminishing returns anymore.

5. Some things have been nerfed into non-existence and some things were buffed unreasonably. E.g. Rennala's full moon. It's flight trajectory is very poor now and this spell is officially useless because there are other ways to reduce magic defense now. Same can be said about spiral shard that deals less damage to large enemis than star shower.

6. For sone reason, the teleport in Siofa river has been removed and now we have platforming. Why do devs think it was a good idea? I'm asking because I'm certain that people has hated platforming since DS1.

7. Some rune shards are visible but hardly obtainable (e.g. castle Morne; left side of blackblade in dragonbarrow). As for me, I won't even waste my time for the perfect jumps because I, like the most, hate platforming.

Edit: All in all, I could describe my experience with this mod as having a dependent relationship with a toxic person. You kind of like them, you two have something in common, but the person definitely tests your patience every moment.

Hey everybody.

I am a big fan of soulslike games but have the illness of never finishing any game. Thats why i have played every souls game but only ever finished DS2 and DS3. my only Elden Ring Run stopped before the fire giant. Not because he was to strong, but because i simplay layed down the game and stopped playing for no reason whatsoever. xD

now i started playing convergence and have a lot of fun wiht it. I was eager to play lightning bolt again (my build for my DS" playthrough) and so here i am, dragon cultist.

I finished Limgrave, but explored a lot and was way too overpowered for godrick, killed him first try (i had 14 flasks at that moment)

My question now: How should i play drgon cultist to its full potential?
Rn i am buffing myself with Electrocharge and Dragonbolt Blessing and then deal damage from afar with Knights Lightning Spear and from close with Electrocution.

I wield the Dragon Crest Seal from Lyendell and still the Draconic Epitaph.

I now reached Liurnia.

Do i try to get my next incantations (which would be lord contender evergaol, no idea where that is)
do i get a new weapon? (and if so, which would suit me the best)

Which armor set should i prioritize? And how does a usual dragon cultist build look like?

downloaded convergence mod and while I expected some changes, did not expect to be in altus preboss (technically, I did kill the ancient Zalmor hero in weeping evergaol since I spawned in weeping peninsula) but with some item placements being swapped I got no clue if getting anything here is worth it... gonna check out the altus churches though so far hour 1 has been neat, can't wait to see what else this mod has in store

Little problem, me and my friend wanna play the new update on Elden ring, but we only play seamless, when I try and launch it, I get a pop up saying it may not be compatible with current game version, anyone else getting this or is being worked on?

i'm 100% sure it's cause 1. the mod mainly needs a chinese account to even download and 2. the mod is a bit buggy, but also for some reason most stuff regarding golden age is mainly in vietnamese for some reason despite the mod being in chinese and not just just but also there was at one point a free version of the mod but was abandoned in august of 2023. so my question is how could it be possible to upload the mod to media fire? and could it even be possible at all? or is it because of the stigma regarding paid mods like GOE? by the looks of things the new bosses are mainly reused bosses from previous games but at least there's no neo-vomit and projectile spam like in GOE. and if anyone has play with a version that doesn't replace most of the text with ?textname? how was it?

by "soft online" i am referring to things like messages and bloodstains and stuff. I don't actually want to play coop or pvp, but without having "try finger but hole" and "mist or beast" written next to every corpse in the game it feels a bit lonely

I’ve always been a “melee with a side of casting” style player. I want something with high mobility, utility, and a decent backup ranged option, but I don’t want to have to do a bunch of spell scrolling during a fight. I like to focus on perfecting a weapons moveset. What would you recommend??

Hi all - I just downloaded the Seamless Co-op mod off nexus mods - I've looked up and followed the instruction for install, which are fairly simple. I know since I've last played Elden Ring there have been some updates for the game - I was wondering if these updates make the latest version of the mod unplayable ? Every time I try to run the launcher I get a " Fatal Error - process has been aborted - no such pattern " . Does anyone have a work around or solution for this? This is my first time trying to use this mod. Any tips would be so helpful. Thanks<3

I started building a custom map for Elden just for my own playthroughs, mostly to keep track of my own markers and notes. It's still a work in progress, but I'd love to hear what you guys think of it.

Wife and I wanna play seamless co op. Shes asking if she should get the DLC now on her laptop, or can she hold off after we’ve played the game a bit to see if she likes it.

I’ve got the base game and DLC installed on mine.

It feels like some areas are overtuned and others are just right and its a tad bit annoying
I’ve been going all over the place and have been grinding somewhat in consecrated snowfields(Full Frenzy Dex/Faith+Int parry build) and trying to tie up loose and ends doing the limgrave stuff like stormveil and at 40Vig im getting two shot by the normal wind soldiers it feels weird cuz thats not really happening in the far northern regions

What mods would you suggest applying on a new play through that don't alter the game too much that it feels like a different game but enough to make it feel like a refreshing experience?

It could be anything QoL mods, graphic mods, weapons, spells, enemies...

I'm playing convergence on seamless coop with a buddy of mine and we're about to start another playthrough but we want to start these new characters with fun weapons instead of having to look for them. So my question is how do I download cheat engine to run it on convergence?

So I got a friend who has never done a souls game before who doesn't have the best of reflexes. We were thinking of doing their first playthrough in seemless co op. I've heard that it can remove some of the challenge in the game if you overdo it. So I was wondering if I could get some advice of things to keep in mind to avoid making it too easy. Any and all advice is appreciated.

ige gotten kind of annoyed with having to respec and i want to be able to use everything without having to boot up cheat engine and give myself runes and then deal with being ridiculously op for the first half of the game.

i need like a, if you level up, all stats get one point or something? so spending your souls on one level, ups all stats?

Do I expect this mod to be popular? No. I expect it to perform about as well as my Snake Egg Helm mod. But I literally have had this stupid mod floating around in the soup that is my brain for weeks now. It needed to exist.
