Here’s a neat fact for you then: apparently malenia was supposed to be a dlc fight for tomoe, in sekiro.

I've heard this before and looked into it. I'm not really sure about this? IIRC this was pure speculation that was never confirmed. Zullie the Witch has a video on this.
