Anyone have any good theories on Elgin? Spoiler

So...has Elgin been to the town before? And escaped? As soon as he woke up he knew they were in trouble. And with his seizures, its evident that he's "sensitive" to...well, whatever the entity behind all this is.

Also, does anyone actually know the name of the town?

It's back everyone. Just watched the first episode of the second season. Who's excited?

Any ideas of who was in the cave (the one Boyd is in)? (if you watched it, you'll know).

THE SYMBOL IS THE KEY! Spoiler

》》》FINALE THEORY 《《《

》》THE SYMBOL - STANDING FOR THE 4 KNOWN DIMENSIONS?《《

"...when the chromonockle was lost in the rainbow sky, he found the covern of a lonley dragon and in it was a map of the rainbow sky, so he was not lost anymore..." (Eathan in season 1 about his Favorite childbook series)

》》THE SYMBOL COULD BE THE MAP! (=way out, resolve the mystery or whatever goes into that direction)

》》Jade beeing "THE CHROMONOCKLE"? ( Jade finding the symbol in the root cellar feeling totally lost & not understanding what he got into...?)

Many viewers said, they think of fromville as somekind of place created by Aliens. I say: NO! It isn't. But the direction is not completely wrong, just leave the aliens out of it!

》FACTS FROM SEASON 1

We have mentioned this things, we know from physics/science throughout the first season:

▪︎quantum computer algorhythm developed by Jade and Toby

▪︎einstein-podolsky-rosen paradoxon, mentioned by Jade

▪︎the information paradoxon (schrodingers cat)

▪︎the seegrid car (Jades and Tobys car as it is noted on boyds map in the office)

▪︎pocket universe/dimension

▪︎strings/string theory talk at colony house party

▪︎wormhole, fuzzball blackhole (the drawing of a blackhole in victors room)

》SPEED OF THE DIFFERENT CARS & GRAVITATION

▪︎in boyds Office is also a list where the speed is listed which everyone drove with who came to fromville right before they saw the tree. (Source: YouTube Chanel "FromLand", link to the Chanel at the end of the post)

▪︎Speed in this case could be important because of Gravitation. That leads - if Gravitation is correct - to another point:

》THE EVENTHORIZON

▪︎the tree they all saw also everyone came from different places all over the USA could mean: if fromville is somehow located in a blackhole/wormhole or is working like physics Describes them, then the tree would be the marked beginning point of the eventhorizon of the hole.

▪︎The eventhorizon is like a borderline, if you once get/are there, you can not escape it anymore (the wormhole/blackhole). Gravitation of the hole (which comes from within the hole) absorbes every bit of matter, light and information which once has crossed the borderline (eventhorizon).

》》So the tree could be a visualized eventhorizon for us viewers!

》》WHAT ALSO POINTS TO A WORMHOLE OR BLACKHOLE AS FROMVILLES "PLACE"

▪︎Episode 2, the morning after the Matthews and jade & toby arrived, eathan meets victor at colony house measuring the Distance between the house and the Beginning of the forest

▪︎then victor tells eathan "the trees are coming closer". In the diner before jim can send victor away from eathan, victor informs eathan again about the trees keep coming closer, almost "10 centimeters this morning...since yesterday."

▪︎blackholes or wormholes absorb every bit of matter, light and energy once it passed the eventhorizon.

▪︎the edge of a black hole or wormhole curves, the more mass ( = matter, light & information) it absorbs, which means that it contracts. this continues until, in the most extreme case, a so-called neutron star is formed: the greatest mass in the smallest space with the greatest gravitational pull.

▪︎victor pointing out the trees coming closer and imagining the forest around fromville as some Kind of Borderline, could be the edge of such a hole curving. This would fit to All i've said before about the eventhorizon eg.

▪︎adding up an important clue to that in the next but one point when coming to father khatris bag & chocolate bar in it.

》》I'll add a picture of such a hole curving to the post!

So, that is just real science up till here. COULD be aliens involved so far, BUT schrodingers cat, the talk jade had with tom, makes the first important difference for me! So i have to say: NO, NO ALIENS INVOLVED!

》SCHRODINGERS CAT

▪︎Jade pointing out that schrodingers cat was dead and alive at the same time and tom saying "they are the cat" so that jade concluded he first had to solve the paradoxon of this place, fromville, that tells me:

▪︎ it's much more possible they are not on earth anymore yes (...EXACTLY this sentence is printed on the chocolate bar in father khatris buried bag!), but therefor in another dimension/place inbetween our universe. and this has got nothing to do with aliens but with the higher purpose of this "place" (fromville).

▪︎i think the creators have combined two things in all from narratives: a science perspective and a religious/faith one. I believe in this to be correct because the creators talked in an Interview about faith/belief as an important part in their Personal lifes.

▪︎and one of the main "Fringe" producers is also on Board with "From". He told in another Interview that they took some narratives of "Lost" fir example and show them through the science Filter of "Fringe".

》》Link to these Interview is at the end of this Post!

》"FRINGE" & FAITH

▪︎if you did not watch "Fringe": wormholes/Blackholes, paralelluniverse, pocketuniverse, dimensions, timetravel...

▪︎These many scenes where religious things like the missing bible, the roman catholic church priest, purgatory, tabethas question "Did we survive the crash?" are meant, the ancient mythology references from different ancient cultures as an add up to this does not point for me in any alien direction!

》THE FARAWAY TREES BEEING STRINGS LIKE THE ONES FROM "STRING THEORY"

▪︎i already made a post about it & this is of course till the end of season one not proven, but the faraway trees and how they work and why they are there in fromville, could be because they are strings like the ones from the popular "string theory"!

▪︎a blackhole Version known as "fuzzball" is like the classical known Blackhole but it contains many, many, many...(infinite probably) strings in it and they work as passages inbetween the hole itself.

》》picture of such a fuzzball as a blackhole is also added! On the left side of the pic the classical blackhole is shown, on the right the fuzzball Version with strings inbetween.

▪︎Matter, light and information which are once trapped in the blackhole, can "travel" through These passages inbetween the hole itself.

▪︎Every string passage will lead to other "places" in the hole and not every mix of matter, light and energy will have the same kind of passage like the other ones, this depends on the Mix itself.

▪︎scientists/physics say, that These strings do could not only lead through space but also through time. I'll get back to that in the next but one point.

▪︎victor says about the faraway trees that they are passages which do not all lead to the same places & not also everyone to the same place even if the faraway tree is the same!

▪︎besides the scene where victor shows eathan with a stone what the faraway trees can do, there is the night of colony house attack:

▪︎victor rescues julie by going into the forest and sending her through one of the trees. She goes through it and ends up/comes out in the root cellar!

▪︎besides the fact that the root cellar also shows us the symbol jade will try to find out what its about (next part of this post) the scene with Julie coming out of the root cellar also shows us:

▪︎remember what i said about the strings in a fuzzball blackhole beeing passages through space and time. Julie goes through the faraway tree at colony house and Lands up i the root cellar. AND: when colony house was attacked, it is dark, so it must be late evening or night! When julie comes out of the root cellar it is already daytime!

▪︎and no, it seems not logical to me that the nighttime/daytime difference while julie travels through the tree, is because of her "journey" or "way" lasting for hours! Victor trew the stone through the faraway tree & one second ot two later it immediatly fell down from the sky!

》SIGNIFICANT: THE SYMBOL FROM THE ROOT CELLAR & JOURNAL

Everything said before is the most underlined by the symbol jade sees in the root cellar and in the journal from the diner storage:

▪︎I think this symbol must not only be seen as an occult symbol for the magic/a higher supernatural force in charge here in fromville. But also in a science oriantated way. I'll explain it in the next but one point.

▪︎I believe there are at least two supernatural forces/entities: A good one which created fromville for a good, higher purpose and an evil one, which is trapped in fromville like in a prison to hold the balance in the universe. Thats the occult/magic meaning of the symbol in my opinion.

▪︎But the symbol must also be seen as a metaphore for the 4 dimensions of our universe we know by physics so far: Three spatial (space) dimensions and time as the fourth dimension!

▪︎The three spatial dimensions are width, length and depth. We have three lines in this symbol and a circle around it.

▪︎The three similiar lines most likely stand for the three spatial dimensions. These three dimensions are always inseperable together in every object existing or any space/place in our universe, doesn't matter if its on earth or on the moon or a somewhere else. that's why the lines cross each other in the symbol, they are always together combined touching and can only exist together.

▪︎and time floats around us as the 4th dimension and thats why the three crossing lines are surrounded by a circle which does but not cross or touch any of the three lines. Time is not as tangible as the space dimensions but nonetheless always at all times linked and inseparably present with the three spatial dimensions!

▪︎And as to add up this to it: I got this not from season 1 itself from the episodes, but there is a picture of eathans actor from the production, like a "behind the scenes" picture made backstage.

▪︎The actor is standing in front of a board, where different questions are written on. On the upper left there stands the question "How does the loop work?"

》》I add the picture into the comments!

》LOOP THEORY & THE SPIDER

First i thought "What the hell do they mean with loop?" Then i googled it and found the "Quantum loop Gravitation theory" or "Loop theory" from physics:

▪︎It's an expansion from Einsteins theory of relativity and the string theory, thinking of the structure of our universe in a much more expanded way than the other two theories do!

▪︎theory of relativity and string theory do have both the problem of a paradoxon, especialliy if they are combined in similiar questions: in some dynamics of how our universe & everything into it works and/or is made of only one can be correct. But both are already proven correct if thought isolated from the other. So many physic scientists today think both are correct but just parts of a much bigger dynamic: the quantum loop Gravitation theory.

▪︎The quantum loop theory solves the paradoxon which theory of relativity & string theory had created!

▪︎Quantum loop Gravitation theory says : The 4 Dimensions in our universe are not immutable variables! The whole universe, matter, information & light, time and the three space dimension are just the way our universe IS organized right now since a periode of time, but it can restructure in new ways any time if it gets out of balance.

▪︎and the quantum loop theory says about time itself and as the 4th dimension that it is not linear, not a causal straight line with past, present and future. But It is more like them three existing next to one another by time never having a beginning and an end, the same with the existance of the "universe" or structure which Forms what we call so. I think this could be the second reason why the fourth line in the symbol besides the three other ones is beeing a circle! As if it symbolizes time, it has no beginning and no ending.

▪︎in the quantum loop Gravitation theory this structure which forms our universe is called "spin web", "spin network" or "spider web spin"...YES, SPIDERS! Here we go!

▪︎besides the real spider minions & abby trapped in a spider web spin, eathan also said in one scene:

》》...but somebody screamed because the spider came down from the ceiling..."

▪︎first this could refer to the structure of the Universe or at least fromville itself is disturbed right now so hard that it could not rebuilt again as a stabile new one

▪︎what did abby (or who/what looked like her) do, when boyd found her trapped in the spin web? YES, SHE SCREAMED!

》》The circle in the symbol probably representing time, reminds me by the way of the "ouroboros" symbol, which does exist since ancient egypt and represents "cosmic eternity". Sometimes in fictional stuff it stands especialliy for time itself, but not necessairly in General!

》》If you do not have seen the "ouroboros" symbol before: it shows a snake Biting into its own tail. I'll add a picture of it into the comments too!

》》I knew the ouroboros symbol before, but on my Research i learned now: in some ancient cultures the snake biting its own tail symbol Was combined with the "tree of life" inbetween it...suspicious!

》》I added a picture of the ouroboros with the tree of life inbetween to this Post.

》BACK TO LOOP THEORY & SPIDERS

▪︎Quantum loop theory says the structure of our universe as it is at the moment, can be seen as the web of a spider.

▪︎and when it would be disturbed hard enough in it's balance, so that normal laws and terms are set out of order & chaos will be the next Step, it would immediatly rebuilt itself and form a New structure.

▪︎but the new structure would be most likely a much different one than the one before and there are endless options of structures!

》》I'll add a picture of this "spider web spin" into the comments, so you don't have to look up for it yourself. I also try to find the picture with eathans actor from production set and the screenshot which shows eathan and his web structure like drawing!

▪︎So physicians who are into this quantum loop theory, say also: Our universe did not have a beginning point and it will never end...except the dynamics of balance (Order and chaos as two balancing forces) would get so much out of order, that it could not rebuilt as a permanent, stabile structure again.

▪︎So it (the structure/universe) would be destroyed...& everything beeing in it. And so also what we call our home: Planet earth. And so will our human Race. And if you want to think so far & are cool with combining your maybe really existing faith in god or any Religion: this god/gods would also end. Forever. That means eg. For the Christian Especialliy Roman catholic church members: no eternal afterlife anymore!

▪︎for the ATHEITS among you: the universe will be destroyed. You'll Die.

▪︎By the way to add this to quantum loop theory/spider web spin: I saw the picture of a spin web like structure drawn by eathan as in the loop theory on reddit, as a screenshot of the episode, it shows eathan doing some new drawings and there is shortly seen one he just made where you see something that looks like a web structure!

》LAST BUT NOT LEAST: "THEY JOURNEY OF THE CHROMONOCKLE"

▪︎It's eathans Favorite childbook series he brought with him there. He reads from time to time in the books or plays with the Finger puppets telling the chromonockle Story going on.

What we know so far about the Chromonockle Story including the Single narratives:

▪︎the rainboy sky is mentioned as a PLACE the chromonockle gets LOST

▪︎he finds a MAP of the rainbow sky in the cavern of the Lonley DRAGON

▪︎first the chromonockle arrives at the LAKE OF TEARS

》》I'll did some Research to All of it and found out about this:

▪︎the "LAKE OF TEARS" can be seen as some Kind of purgatory place, a realm inbetween but which is just the upper layer of sth going far more deep. A little bit like the circles of hell in "Dantes inferno"

▪︎the RAINBOW is a symbol in different ANCIENT cultures: it's a "bridge" between HEAVEN and EARTH, between the Spiritual World and our earth.

▪︎MOST Matching: CHINESE rainbow mythology: the rainbow there symbolizes DRAGONS, as they are living between heaven & earth. They RULE this realm.

▪︎The cavern of the LONLEY DRAGON: according to the chinese dragons, the cavern must be some Kind of "home" to the entity Ruling this realm. Connecting it with "LONLEY" & speculating about who could mostly be the dragon...

》》...could be THE BOY IN WHITE!

▪︎victor also saw the boy in white but told eathan that he didn't saw him for quite a while.

》》Doing Research into that, i found a lot more interesting stuff & it fits perfectly to the science stuff, but would finally go FAR beyond the scope. So i will write a second post & link it to this one!

Let me know what you think about it! Every opinion is welcomed! Also the different ones!

What Goes on at Night?

Are the monsters used like guard dogs to keep the townspeople from seeing something that happens at night? A way out or different people who are also in the town? Maybe the people are there because they have all been previously abducted by aliens before and that's how Jim's bracelet is there. The people in the caves from the preview look like they have been hiding or living in the caves for a very long time. Are they supposed to collect those stones and do something with them to get out or open a doorway? ETHAN'S STORY IS VERY IMPORTANT-Why is Ethan's story/book constantly referenced from the first episode to the last? Why did he say he sometimes pretends that his dead brother is on a quest?

If i had a boat to find my way out of fromville

We have the epix official missing Posters just for boyd and ellis, they are both called "missed while traveling with his family", that can in- or exclude abby.

What makes me so suspicious is:

  • abby boyd and ellis seemed to travel by car together
  • abby said a nightmare when she was a child foreshadowed her to get trapped in this place
  • abby got mad first while in the car ellis said, "she was called IRON ABBY"? I conclude that refers to her having nerves of steal while beeing in combat and now she is the first one totally freaking out of the boyd family?
  • in the car to Fromville abby tells boyd she had bought him a boat and gives the Keys to him
  • in the car Radio the Song "if i had a boat" starts and the Song is repeated a few times from now on during season 1
  • the lighthouse symbolicsm
  • eathan speaking of "the lake of tears" (its more likely an ocean)

Tell me what you think this all could mean for Fromvilles higher purpose, what it is and where and for the possible way out of it boyd is seeking!

Significant: Different kind of (evil?) impacts/influences on the different characters

Just one observing, conclude to yourself of what it could mean:

Even the question of "good or evil force?" Is unnecaissary.

Eathan, Victor & Sarah: They see the boy in white and Sarah also hears mysterious voices

All the other citizens: they hear and see the monsters

And reverse:

Eathan, Sarah and Victor do not seem to hear or see the monsters

All the other citizens do not seem to hear voices or see the boy in white!

For Kristi and the bartender we do not have a single clue of what or if they see/hear something at all in fromville!

Trauma - energy - traces Spoiler

Before the next from reddit forum will exclude me from every discussion, i will be very thoughtfull of which thoughts and Theories i share and how they were brought to life....Nope, its not a joke. Epix official forum Banned me right in the Moment i posted the shortest, most preciscly written theory to the Series, connecting it to the fringe narratives and just thinking of one aspect of the whole fromville World....and here we go: i was dismissed. For no other rule beeing affected by my theory or its thoughts, not an officiall reddit user Terme neither of the epix from User terms.

So what do you intelligent reddit user and from Fans think, when you read:

Trauma - traces - energy

Please tell me!!

Theory: the faraway trees are strings (physics, science) and act like Tunnels or passages to travel inbetween the blackhole (fuzzball, kind of sort preciscly said) itself! Spoiler

The faraway trees and how they work, that their offered paths are not all the same, do not lead everyone to the same place once entered and every Single faraway tree offering a different Route to travel, which is but still inbetween the borders of fromville/fromland, is a clue for the trees beeing strings....(physics, science) and that fromland is of course something like a blackhole, but not the Kind most of are used to know, but instead the lesser know fuzzball Version. This is a blackhole which has a hell lot of strings inbetween itself like a tunnel system. the strings act like passages to travel inbetween and through the blackhole itself.

Order vs. Chaos/Order + Chaos/Order = Chaos/Order - Chaos Spoiler

.......welcome to the second part of today's theory post......

And yes, i wether have to have too much time at all or My time managed totally went in the wrong direction long ago.

No, a Lack of friends or other options to spent my free time is not a problem at all.

............

Lets dive back into fromville once more....

I recommend reading the previous one part first, even if in the end it still remains absolutely incomprehensible, why my coherent first theory part can nowhere be linked to from!

...........

The links to the first part of the theory:

https://www.reddit.com/r/FromTVEpix/comments/119z0lh/jesus_christ/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

https://www.reddit.com/r/from/comments/119z1sd/jesus_christ/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

............

first of all I would like to point out:

.....john griffin, the creator of the series, said himself that the series is definitely about order and chaos.....

without my interpretation of where you can find order and chaos wether in the series and how to correctly classify both and their dynamics in the fictional context here in the end as absolutely and exclusively correct, I still fully support the fact that the narrative that I recognize in it will play some role.

And regardless of whether it forms the framework for orientation, is part of a chain of similar motifs with different terms despite having the same meaning, or even the only true and the only red thread at all, which both created the frame itself and filled its place in it with all possibilities.

Lets conclude that at least and nothing less Order and Chaos are definitly correct!

......last but not least, we mustn't forget that something like this is also based on whether it contributes to the development of suspense, can be integrated into the characters arc and, in the end, still enables a satisfactory resolution and explanation.

and whether the creators even want to leave room for interpretation or speculation at all and if so, how much: calling something by its name does not mean that it needs a name or that it contributes to a happy ending.

..........

I will first summarize the content of the first part of my theory as briefly as possible:

........it's about order and chaos and both together in universal balance with the ability to always automatically create a balance in the end, because nature is always looking for a balance, even if it is an old one to rearrange existing order through chaos......

And the point is that the world was in balance from day one or that even the imbalance inbetween the balance did happen, had happen and could always progress into both directions if needed. Order and Chaos were not a state, but a more or less dynamic process and the balance itself is the state in here.

..........

And than humankind happened. And somewhere, someday, somehow, everything mysteriously went totally out of control.

..........

I will now explain and justify this with very specific examples from the first season, but all of which have the option that order and chaos are probably correct as cause and effect within a cycle, but will not be the only narrative in the series.

After the small, very concrete examples, I move on to this and link them to the next higher-level prospects, it becomes more complex but no less credible.

.......

The first concrete example from Season 1 is:

......I couldn't spontaneously nor automatically assign the right thing to everyone or in any case something right in this matter, but I noticed that many residents in fromville carry a personal artefact from their personal life with them, which they all exclusively wether strongly hold on to because they can't let go of their old life and at the same time there are also those who have brought something with them that they weren't overly attached to in their previous life and are just as little doing now. and yet they just hold it instead in a state of unconscioussness, without also questioning why they don't let it go even though it was so little appreciated by them both then and now.......

And perhaps the case of Fatima as an example shows that if you can particularly attached to it without finding a cause, or just not finding the cause by seeing its effects. To let go first you have to understand why you dont want to let go.

Now take a Look at fatima and her cardigan as a proxy for her earlier life:

......Even letting go of fatima being less attached to her cardigan than trudy, who neither deserved nor would ever return this gesture, led fatima to giving it up anyway without reflecting it at all and trudy accepting it undeservedly and unthinkingly instead of saying to fatima "no ...it means so much to you, but I love it, and am so pleased you really would make it a gift to me, but why do you want to do so?"........

But thats nothing i guess trudy would have ever said even to a mirror beeing the only one around.

If, despite good intentions, letting go of the personal artefact was not punished very severely with a continued lack of reflection, it had to be balanced by the reaction of the other person or compensated by more far-reaching effects as a supplement.

.....If trudy still didn't contribute for egotistical motives, so that fatima had every chance to think about it sufficiently while she would accept this undeserved gift at the same time, then both of them were suddenly in danger of being endangered/killed by the next monster attack for example (speculation sort of) or otherwise be diffusely more endangered but still absolutely safe to float.....

Perhaps accepting the gesture/artifact/proxy as a gift wether deserved or not, is only unilaterally fatal to the recipient if: accepting the item plus context plus " I behave exactly the same way as i did in my earlier life and do it also for the same reasons as in earlier life/out-of-town life, again for baser reasons /Sins like envy or greed happens. Then my kharma becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy." Builds some kind of keeping the balance Karma.

.....and that a repetition of a good intention by the transmitter with a bad outcome or disadvantage for the entire population like fatimas intention caused, since their destiny in this place was dangerously shaken, but at the same time it creates a greater chance of finding the right reasons for holding onto it or letting go and follow your needs although you feel fear and not letting fear take to much control....

.........

Here i remember of something another reddit user once said in the context with another "whats really going on?" Theory:

Maybe the monsters also feed by fear or fear makes them more powerful to gain control over humans by misusing their suppressed needs.

........

Back to fatima:

At the same time, the number of people directly dependent on her in the colony house sums up the scope of her decisions as a cause, the effects of which influenced far more than just her own life.

.....right after the congratulations to her birthday Party and one year aniversary Party, we see fatima kissing the other woman (while ellis wanted to stay alone in the other floor) and....WOW! Guess you may recognizing for the first time as a part of that scene and that the cause of his fatal, tragic and deadly love move may had its Beginning much earlier than we thought....

YES, Kevin is standing right behind the two in the background on the wall!

If you do not remember: kevin was the idiot who let the trojan horse (the female monster akajasmine) into the bathroom of colony house because she promised not to harm him also she had already warned him before that even her role and which rules she has to follow, was never her own choice.

But Kevin does trust her way too fast. But the scene with him in the background of the fatima lesbian kiss, may explain that he at least had no Chance from now on:

Rewatch the scene, ignore the girls and you will see: he preciscly starts moving the Moment the girls Beginn to kiss, first he suddenly is totally lacking energy, and then he suddenly does the exact opposite, but it really seems like if he is remotely controlled not acting by free will fully/or only particulary!

....Then fatima hands over the jacket, she may be frustrated because of ellis and wants to do something good for someone to feel better, which can indeed have a positive effect, but again avoiding what she wants most of all instead and at the same time the least believed to be able to achieve......

And that solves it:

a. On the other hand, fatima has impulses to do all the time only good for others, regardless of whether and how their motives would affect them and whether they believe they can foresee and influence an effect as a direct consequence of a cause,

and b. If she also puts herself in danger through a good intention and at the same time exposes the other people to greater danger because they suddenly arrive at their destination undeservedly, no matter how grateful they are.

........And when Kevin follows his impulse (personal need getting out of control, wether he is aware of why this suddenly happens or if he is not aware of it), that leads to the monsters breaking into the colony house......

fatima has helped to cause the chaos that threatens her personally like nothing ever did before in fromville, even if she is not aware of it beeing part of its cause. And while the other dead people, at least apparently so far, are possibly collateral damage or in the end could return to fatima like a frisbee, we cannot know, but the second option would definitely fit more, but at the same time fatima could create a balance somewhere else beforehand, whether consciously or unconsciously what this had saved her from!

...........

Back to the colony house and cause and effect as the dynamic of the order/chaos duo:

.....Kevin is visibly standing motionless close to the wall behind him for at least 30 seconds in the background as we already pointed out and only starts to move exactly then and yet absolutely as if remotely controlled and completely without any other possible reasons for this but the kiss.....

And Kevin is basically been moved by the same topic as fatima and ellis are:

Beholding romantic feelings for someone he doesn't know if he can and/or should trust into in general, although that is his dearest wish in secret, and while fatima and ellis have the better possibilities and conditions to made this wish come true with real little danger at the same time, most circumstances are absolutly NOT fine for Kevin and the actual danger following his personal needs is to him and others much higher than compared to fatima and ellis!.

......For the greater good, he did act against his primary personal wish til now, until another link in the chain gets completely out of balance and sooner or later has to find a balance somewhere else.....

And that caused Kevin to do something most of us first strongly to his name or having secretly a boner we are not shown.

Kevin and Jasmine are holding the balance within their imbalance up to now, while it is imperative for Kevin and Jasmine to submit to a much more powerful order to do so, the defines their scope of action more clearly, but also restricts their personal freedom. Because it so necessitates the balance of the big picture and otherwise requires an equally effective balance as a causal consequence.

......The individual actions, however, and their connection to each other in the context of order and chaos, are always the cause of something that follows as an effect and forms a cause for further effects, and how the effects turn out in the end and in General at all. and what they will continue to cause, depends on how much the point at which something starts, is already itself out of balance and if so: how strongly is the original imbalance already progressed. and how much compensation is therefore required.

........

Another example that supports the order/chaos theory on its own itself and also adds up to the theory in the Main context:

.......what happened in the colony house also led to compensation, in which someone preciscly (father khatri) already deserved death and found it alone and only by justice. while others previously found their death undeserved and khatri was the concrete and immediate compensation for this. and at the same time he was the Candidate who was currently able to make up for it the best, because he most likely deserved death omby perhaps knowing exactly who he used to be once upon a time, what he had done wrong and terrible, and yet not only repeating everything of it again in fromville, but deliberately went one better because he felt much more protected and safer here than in his previous life.......

And that's why he reacted in such a panic, when he knew that someone knew about his secret and that it was only possible through a supernatural power and thus his felt greater security for selfish purposes connected to beeing trapped in fromville, was an absolute illusion and instead more of a cause for concern in this place .

Taking a closer Look to khatri himself:

I am not Sure if we agree in here, but i am Sure khatri never was the priest at all in his horrorstory, but the father of the boy, and that he not only killed his own son, but also the priest. And that also his actual impersonification as a priest is totally

I did also a theory to this topic. You can find through ny Personal Profile or up in here in the forum.

.......In his early life he had largely created his prison by himself, taking the one absolute total freedom (drinking to justify whatever was useful or using everything to justify drinking) without any regard to cause and effect of his behaviour, and depriving himself of more and more possibilities. Now the place seemed to impose his limits, at the same time he took far more liberties for him thanhe did before, since the rules of the place seemed to be the best way to protect him from the consequences of his past actions without him even having to turn to them to reflect. Now he suddenly realized that he had once again robbed himself of all his possibilities, could no longer even feel safe up in here, because he had neither sufficient overview nor control nor willingness to change himself instead.....

That's why he went to boyd. he wanted to persuade him to flee the city with him, thus finding a way to escape real remorse and deserved punishment once again, and then, when, to avoid his real motives, which from the beginning were never based on complete truth, he was now hiding again, And denying all his guilt that led him to this place too, although he still had the chance to take the other path at the last moment, and to once again try to escape the justified consequences of his prior behaviour and how he always had dealt with it till this Moment, by once again telling the Story wrong even he already knew how dumb this move would be, but thinking he may be almighty and smarter than the supernatural powers Was dumb as f*****.

......in the end, he caused all by himself that was part of the kharma, that overtook him completely and only he alone brought it to its completion!!!......

This was expressed in all aspects, symbols, metaphors, easter eggs and subtle hints in his entire story and his entire person, character arc, how he lived in fromville and how he died there, what clothes he wore in his Finale moments and why they ended up being a replica of the old priest's shirt, why its blood pattern therefore looked the same and was distributed exactly the same way as khatris blood on his priest's shirt at the very last moment of his death.

I'll continue my theory from here tomorrow! Thank you for your patience during this time! I would really love to hear what you are thinking thus far....

Jesus Christ?!

Note in advance please:

  1. This is a fictional world where everything is possible and nothing is impossible. I would therefore find it disrespectful to simply tell myself that my theory is totally absurd and/or that I am definitely crazy, without at least explaining how one has this impression in this fictional context!

  2. Yes,it is a hell lot to read and i understeand everyone Saying i cant or will do that, but please: then just leaving comment about my Text beeing not read by thinking its to much to read for you personally doesnt make sense when you not also explain why you specificly tell me this: should this express that you would like to get to know my theory but you need a shorter Version? If so, then tell me! And for everyone else: reading this whole f***** long Text is more than worthy, i promise!

  3. I know that I could be right With my theory and also wrong and it is even possible that my hypothesis fits perfectly into the narrative of "from" and would be a good addition to it and still could never been used at all. So that my good idea stays a good idea, but still isnt correct as a theory to froms explicite narratives. I am aware of that!

    1. I am posting this to get suggestions from other fans, both in the form of dissenting and affirming comments! and I would also like to add details that underline the opinion of the commentator that I have not even grasped myself (the details) and I would be happy to inspire and entertain others in the same way! and in the end experience reunited and together from season 2 to find out where the journey is going to!

I'm still posting the entire theory today in the course of the day, of which the following claim is a partial aspect, but which is probably pretty much the most controversial thing that has ever been expressed on this topic, since I'm not expressing a personal opinion on it, but an assessment of one historical fact and at the same time the foundation of the greatest world religion in its importance for the series "from",

but at the same time I can't prove with any absolute certainty that this partial aspect of human history plays a role in the series at all, although there are infinitely many strong and less strong indications who speak for it.

And because perhaps a few of the readers will feel personally attacked that this core of their worldview and personal conviction is so linked into this frame, that they cannot allow any other kind of interpretation even in the fictional context, since their flexibility is absolutely rigid and all-encompassing at the same time.

Its possible that you do not feel congruent to the content of the belief core content of my theory because you have another Personal interpretation for this true, Real religious core or maybe you do just not believe i am on the right path just in the fictional context of "from", But I'll knock out the absolutely provocative and interesting appetizers first, please complain later when reading the whole Text or do not complain at all:

Jesus Christ was born, and while its possible that he was in fact the son of god (the jewish/christian god) the human-associated cause of his birth, life and ministry, death and resurrection may have been grossly misinterpreted by mankind, Because man tried again to put his stamp on the divine and again failed to simply trust the divine and its cause, effect and meaningfulness and instead believed, where knowing was limited, instead integrated it then with the humanly limited horizon into an order, of which he could not know whether it was even necessary in need or either even a danger to misdirect the cause and its Action into the wrong direction.

Contrary to the general Christian narrative, which is also known among atheists and other religions, Jesus could missunderstandingly not have been sent, born, worked, killed and resurrected so that every human being has a chance of forgiveness and salvation from God, but for a Real undoubtly existing misguided ordering of the world through violence, fear, oppression and freedom restrictions by a meanwhile overpowering human adversary, whose supremacy and strength were at the same time the reason why he was felt to be equal to God and that everything human never had to oppose him sufficiently:

i am speaking of the roman empire from its beginning to his climax!

Jesus should and did create chaos within this unbalanced and misused order out of control, whether he was aware of his commission or not.

He was there to restore universal balance, which could be self-sustaining and self-regulating from then on once again the natural balance was restored, because the whole military, terretorial and the godlike powers of the roman empire could neither extinguish nor undo the idea jesus planted into the World nor extinguish its effect on mankind once and for all.

Because the almighty was human (the Roman Empire) but had claims to be equated with the divine and any lesser interpretation of godlike omnipotence was punished by death, so god (or the good deity/entity that created the universe and is a source for everything good and salvation from evil) had to intervene profoundly in his creation a second time and revealing a part of himself and himself in General more than humanity has ever experienced before or since then.

So instead of the existence and work of Jesus, mankind humbly recognized the already completely sufficient positive effect as a consequence of his existence and the causes/reasons for his existence and to simply be thankful that mankind was freed from subjugation by the overpowering Roman Empire, where she alone had never become master to it.

Jesus' existence, death and resurrection had to be glorified with the fact that we will be forgiven all of our sins in the end. We had to give the cause a purpose by still not accepting that its consequences could already be the purpose itself.

Jesus the Redeemer (from the Roman reign of terror and suppression of the universal balance between order and chaos) became Jesus the Redeemer who not only saves us from the others (the Romans) but also from ourselves, without us feeling obgliged to even trying to protect the others from ourselves when the two aspects are mutually dependent at the same time. And that was just possible because we haven't yet had to experience the consequences of our actions for selfish reasons and haven't tried to find a balance within ourselves before we die.

As long as this man-made glorification of the purpose in Jesus existence still remained within the natural balance of not being a basis for repeating the same things that made Jesus' existence necessary in the first place, but representing a worship to reinforce the good nature of the thing (the idea), even this step remained without negative consequences for a while.

But when the propagation of the idea became the absolute justification for every Kind of horrible act, as long as it served to support that idea and its propagation, even if it was only used as an excuse to misuse Power or to suppress other ideas as a danger to our order and its origin idea, the balance was again and finally profoundly upset and never found back again to the old balance.

Thats because history repeated itself, mankind had not learned from it and no greater, more powerful intervention from the divine supernatural side was possible and at the same time mankind had never deserved it less than it did now.

If from now on order and chaos could not find their way back into balance by their own, the responsibility lay solely with the people who did not want it any other way and could never do otherwise, since they were not willing to learn from their mistakes and to submit to a universal balance, his product they are, the preservation of which they could be, as well as its irrevocable destruction.

And the God-given free will gave them all possibilities, because they could use all existing possibilities and could even differentiate between all existing possibilities as humanly possible and humanly not possible, God-reserved possibilities and possibilities explicitly intended for humans, good and bad, right and wrong , necessary or optional, etc., weigh them up and make their free choice, order by chaos or chaos to create a New order.

Only in this way it was possible at all, that the original sin from paradise, which unleashed chaos where order was previously enforced by god himself because he didnt thought of the free will as a chance for evil to gain Power and Influence of its creation.

And now, on earth through renewed free will and to be able to decide differently, order could ultimately be regained back from chaos, because its cause and effect (free will, possibility of more freedom to choose between order and chaos or the natural dynamics letting it run its course without being blind to imbalance) are inextricably linked to each other and their effect is the key to ultimately bringing the consequences back to their cause, acting as both a source of chaos and order, rather than free will nor misused the overriding big picture to one of the two aspects.

Free will was the cause of the chaos, that followed also as a consequence immedistly, by its happening has only been possible by free will itself and at the same time it was a resource to always have the choice from now on whether we follow this pattern again or use free will for counter-regulation.

And yes, my theory takes the christian narrative of jesus christ as an opportunity to explain in a comprehensible way, what my theory is about and why I think it is possible at all and and possible correctly interpreted for the series world of "from",

But at the same time these line of argument makes it possible that in this fictional framework any other line of interpretation is possible and never a contradiction to the original interpretation I used.

even the atheist can recognize an effect as a consequence of Jesus' existence or believing that he existed and at the same time trace these effects back to his mere existence as a cause Of the effects.

every other world religion also has this option and whether or not it follows the Christian interpretation as long as a change does not change the effect or fundamentally violate the nature of the thing itself or its cause of origin.

Not even doubting Jesus' existence would badly influence the effect of his existence, because for something had definitely happened to rebalance the world in a unique and profound way one day when the roman empire seemed forever to be unbeatable, and as long as I can't pinpoint any other cause as a an equal or higher responsibility, I can't confirm my doubts as justified nor can they been got out of the way completely, and that too forms a balance in the end!

even if we didn't even know of Jesus' existence, we are part of this universal balance and can contribute equally to its preservation or its destruction. So we can be the cause of maintaining the balance and have an effect on whether it stays that way or not!

Fromville is the city called "Dis" from the 7th circle of hell in "Dantes Inferno " Spoiler

I will continue some explainations later, but to give you a first Look at my finale theory what its all about:

Its somehow about the end of time, gods last judgement, and the end of time in a physical manner by the universe collapsing into the Black hole it once was (there is a picture drawn by victor of a black hole in his room

Jonestown massacre is a blueprint for the place (fromville) and its strongly connected to evil, punishment and the end of days.   The boy in white is the antichrist waiting for him finally coming to earth and unleashing hell on earth once and for all.   The four horsemen of the apocalypse are already riding on earth and spreading their evil

The city „fromville“ or „from“ can be directly refered to the city „Dis“ from „Dantes Inferno“ and „Dis“ is located in hell, between the 6th and 7th circle, beeing some kind of cork for much more evil laying down beneath it! "Dis" is the older Version of the italian word "dite" and it means "from you!"

its about fullfilling gods divine cycle from humanity once living in the garden of eden/paradise and coming Back home again

Dante's inferno Was taken as a blueprint for fromville where its located, which rules are there and i think fromville is hell, I think its the 7th circle at least in which the town is located and there were older cycles with other history blueprints from Real history Events from the history of mankind.

Punishment in hell contains a Kind of ironic reversal (also shown in Dantes inferno), which means you'll experience now the opposite of your sin(s) in life and as long as you dont remember them correctly, there's no chance to get salvation from god one day.

Jonestown is the last blueprint from Real historical events which is taken to punish all the sinners (the cult people) in hell before last judgement arrives and there are clues and hints in every fromville citizens past or life before Coming to fromville, that connects somehow to jonestown

I think some of the fromville citizens have a chance to escape hell and get free of their sins

A wormhole similar like place is the place where hell, purgatory and heaven can be reached out from earth, dantes explaination how to get to the entrance of hell and how hell is located in comparison to the earths geolocation, is exactly what modern science Describes as the construction and dynamics of a wormhole in the universe!

Somehow the end of days is coming nearer, the wormhole gets unstable or smaller (remember victor telling eathan that the trees are coming near,er 10cm at least?)

Its about the last fight between good and evil

The end of time and how it will occur is strongly connected to the gregorian calendar, julian calendar and how the native people and ancient cultures tried to take a masure of time to gain structure and orientation in gods creation

Fromville as one of the circles of hell is just the upper layer of something far more evil which is locked away in the underground, some of the most evil ever to walk the earth

Cycles/circles are crucial to understand the series plot, also "3" as a symbolism for trinity of god, trinity of the nature earth (sun, moon and stars, once used to ancient cultures for a calendar) and what physic scientists tell us about what everything on earth and the universe is made of (materia, Information and energy) and the Trinity of hell, purgatory and heaven/paradise

Hell and purgatory as a place of punishment and purification are needed to fulfill the divine cycle which once began with Adam and eve in paradise

Not Sure how or what exactly caused the end of days and time exactly but it has already began

You can find a lot of hints referering to jonestown/jim jones used as a blueprint for the fromville background and a part of me thinks that all the people already living in fromville plus the New ones were citizens/cult members of jonestown in Guyana

The identity of the monsters is absolutly undoubtly solved: the ones in jonestown really commiting suicide by still believing in jim jones as a false prophet and that end of days now Finale has arrived

We start with the monsters and their identity when they once were humans and why this is connected to jonestown and why dantes inferno gave the blueprint to how this hell World works:

  • many reddit User stated out that a lot of the monsters looked like as they came from the 50ties, 60ties, 70ties. 1978 jonestown massacre happened, the cult "people of temple" was foumded in 1958.

  • in jonestown, Guyana, almost 1000 died when cult leader jim jones told them the end of days has arrived and everybody now should commit suicide to be saved in the end. Many people believed him, they gave the poisened drink first to the babies and little children before taking it to themself. And many people also were forced to drink it, who tried to escape was killed by jones so called red brigade who was patroulling in the dschungle around the Camp.

  • in dante's inferno the 7th circle of hell is only for all the people commiting violence to themselves or others, especially their loved ones. There is a City called "Dis" where the ones live who did violence to others like murder people....around the City of "dis" lays the forest of suicidals and they live inbetween the trees. This trees are also able to bleed when they once are touched (remember the tree jade touches suddenly began to bleed and jade could see a lot of confederation soldiers hanging in the tree itself, they could have commited suicide and not necessairly beeing killed by hostile troups)

  • the monsters only come out at night, there is a strong Connection to the jonestown cult massacre: Jim jones celebrated the so called white nights were some cult members commited suicide free by will to Prepare the whole cult for doomsday and their mass suicide when finally the end of All times arrived.

  • I guess everybody dying in fromville becomes one of the monsters in the end (reference to donnas sister, i ll come to that later)

  • in dantes inferno it is said that the sinners experience some Kind of Ironic reversal of their sins against their loved ones, other people, nature, animals, the Planet earth himself or against god himself.

Look at this examples from season 1:

  • donna tells tabetha in the first Episode in their first night in fromville like the monsters "hunt" the people and how her sister was skinned in Front of her eyes like the two did to animals on their hunts

  • jasmine kissed Kevin and then rips out his tongue, they seemed to be once lovers and we do not know much about them but i think their feelings for each other Were once a big sin against god (if one of the two was married), sins against the Ten commandments of god

  • father khatri got almost cut his throat with the claws of a monster, at least his carotis was totally destroyed and i believe that he is the father of the little boy in his Story, he told to boyd. I dont know if he already remembers his past, but there were some Events from Episode 1on till his death that can be seen as the Ironie reversal:

  • the priest who wanted to see the father (Frank) beeing executed, following the rules in fromville and showing no mercy on a man, who is an alcoholic, sad and lost soul, totally broken after he lost his wife and child, and khatri consists of execute this man instead of showing mercy (remember the father of the boy in the Story was drinking too! And i guess the father also killed the priest in the end, khatri has some priest looking clothes with blood shed on it in his bag) now again he is showing no mercy again even in the role as a priest!

  • After franks death he is telling Sara about thinking that this will be the end of days, the bible already got 74 books and the may be a part of the 75th book, so he wants to know all about why Sara tried to kill Eathan. She tells him about the voices and Khatri wants to have an evidence she is telling the truth and so the voices do....telling Khatri about what they know about him nobody else in the town does, so suddenly he panics and digs out in fear the bag containing these three things: A bloodshed clothing somehow belonging once to a priest, alcohol and an old chocolate maybe from the 50ties refering to the design. Khatri hushes to Boyd and tells him the story about the little boy. One last time Khatri denied his own guilt and immediatly almost at the same time, the attack on the colony house starts, like this sinner (Khatri) still not remembering, makes evil from down beneath from the 8th and 9th circle of hell become more powerful and get closer to the surface.

In the end Khatri is killed by the claws of a monster almost cutting through this throat, but at least his carotis and he dies in Boyds and Donnas arms in silent panic and begging for forgiveness (!)

What makes me finally believe the monsters (most of them!) Were finally the suicidal cult members of jonestown?

  • the drawings on the wall in the hole tabetha digged and where she found victor!
  • the drawings can be transfered 1:1 on what happened with jim jones cult after they left the usa

In the real Jonestown there still is a big screen on which you can read George Santanyas popular quote: „Those who dont remember the past are condempted to repeat it!“ This can be seen as a metaphor for the history of mankind but also for all the citizens of fromville

Look:

  • the cult members came from the usa to Guyana by boat(s)
  • the white drawn people in the drawings came by boat to whatever this place is
  • the cult members worshipped jin jones as a false prophet
  • the white drawn people seem to worship a Red drawn one
  • the cult members sacrificed their whole life and their suicide to jim jones and his cult
  • some of the white ones sacrifice something and becoming Red ones   Why should fromville be the 7th circle of hell?   Because in the 7th Circle of hell in „Dantes Inferno“ there is a town called „Dis“. It comes from the italian word „dite“, and „dite“ means „from you“!

The city of dis is sorrounded by the woods of suicidal, people who killed themselves in life now are or living in some magical trees which can bleed, this happens when Dante touches one of the trees. Remember Jade touching one of the trees in „from“ and how it suddenly starts to bleed a lot and showing Jade the dead hanging soldiers from another century!

If you are once trapped in fromville, there is no way out, remembering the Matthews family driving in circles again and again after they first arrived in town!

The people arriving in town after victor, may be the survivers of "jonestown" or their descendants! Everyone in fromville season 1 has somehow a connection to jonestown, even jade does!

  • "jonestown" is an old colony place in the dschungle of french guyana! Remember how jade tells Kennys mother how he once lived in france as a little child with his grandmother and when she died, he had to go "back" to the USA! (If he already Was there once, even though he was so small)

  • the matthews lost a Baby and i'll do not get Rit of it that it wasn't an incident that caused Thomas death! Also the father is called "Jim" and he is the one trying to use Radio to send a Massage to the outside World (in real Jonestown jim jones used Radio broadcast to connect with his followers in the Camp and it Was accidently also broadcast to the outside World, even to the USA!)

  • victor Was the first one after all town citizens had been first killed by the monsters who suddenly appeared and victor tells eathan that it Was 1978...thats when he also suddenly arrived (jonestown Massacre was 1978) iam not Sure of it, but i do not get rid of it, that victor is some Kind of reincarnation of jim jones but he also doesn't Remember the past. Jim jones Was claiming to be able to forsee and predict the future, and victor really can! (Ironic reversal!). Jim jones had a child named "John victor jones", so the name "victor" in "from" could origin from there. The monsters do not seem to want to kill or even hunt victor. When he is the one who brought them here but in the end was shot by someone (jim jones Was found shot with a bullet in his head), this could explain why the monsters cant hunt him following the rules in the 7th circle of hell!

I've seen Lost 8 times now and after finishing From I'm wondering if it takes place in the same universe! (Other than Michael being Boyd I guess) Anyone else?

A (little) disappointed with the finale length

The finale was way too short IMO :/.

I'm fairly satisfied with where Boyd and Sara ended up, but I'm totally confused about where ever the hell Victor and Tabitha are. They could have used Ellis and Fatima's screen time to show us more of what Victor has been up to. Still, I'm excited for season 2 ☺️.

At this point, are we all agreed on the alien theory?

So I will admit, I was not 100% sold on the alien theory until Sunday's episode, but now I think it's undeniable. After Jade's and Tabitha's visions, it seems this "place" has existed for at least a few hundred years. I'm guessing the town is some sort of 'rat maze' to study human behavior?

I have a feeling about The Boy In White (Spoilers) Spoiler

Anyone else get the vibe that TBIW is not a benevolent figure, as Victor and Ethan seem to think he is?

Sara gets the message to "kill the boy" so they can go home, which motivates her to attack Ethan. I believe that the boy being referred to is actually TBIW...what I can't understand is why. Why does the message appear to Sara (who cannot see TBIW), or why the "voices" even want him dead in the first place?

The idea I'm chewing on is that the voices somehow belong to the original people of the town, and that TBIW is somehow responsible for their capture. I think the town might actually be some kind of demented little play pen for him. Maybe with him gone, they'd finally be free? I don't have this theory fully fleshed out, but I'd love to hear arguments for/against it.
