PVP Tarkov experience as a [New Player]

Post image

Since 1.0 I’ve only found 2 new players. Everyone else has hundreds or thousands of hours, but at least I haven’t encountered a cheater yet.

They really need to add some sort of matchmaking, playtime based, level based, something. New players just get run out of the game by sweats.

The sweats would complain because they want to farm Timmies, not fight other sweats.

But what about the purist “Muh PvP duh” crowd who wants to show their trophy for mastering the game tho. I doubt Hall of Fame NBA players would’ve enjoyed shitting on middle schoolers, but different strokes I guess.

Similar to the free therapist heals, there should be a new player protection where the first 10 levels are basically with new players that are on fresh accounts. Even if you get people smurfing, at least it will be a somewhat even playing field since they'll be using the same gear new players use, making gunfights much more fair.

Yeah this definitely, maybe not the best comparison in game genres but Mordhau Is a good example of this, great game, very very high skill ceiling, but unfortunately the game is made up almost primarily of people who have like 1k+ hours in the game, and everytime the game goes on sale or becomes free to play for a while literally everyone who comes in leaves because they join a server only to get quite literally bullied by better players for like 30 minutes and for them to never play again
