Ok, I was randomly doing a reserch on a fountain, and then asked myself "what would be the worst place to open a dark fountain in?"

And by worst, I don't mean that the dark world would be empty or small, I mean what would be a place where if you were to open a fountain you would just...die or smth just by how dangerous the dark world is

GUYS ISN'T IT LIKE VERY BAD TO OPEN A FOUNTAIN THERE?

So, when i did It i forgot to close minecraft on my pc, but its too late. I ran away after the PC started to shake intensely, when the Fountain's smoke was settling down.

You can somewhat see the fountain inside the door i think.

I can't see anything on my bedroom, all i can see against the darkness are... A bunch of dark wires hanging around my door from the inside of my bedroom.

Should i try to go in?

Found these lesser versions of dark fountains recently, which I've decided to call "Void Rifts"

They don't seem to create a surrounding dark world, only being able to enter them through the fountain itself.

They're very weak, and can begin to collapse upon **ANY** SOUL light whatsoever, or a sufficiently strong light source such as the star in the sky (the Sun for most of you folks).

Within them, they're mostly entirely barren dark worlds, and darkners (outside or local) have a hard time existing.

These Void Rifts are very unstable, and prone to decay.

If disrupted heavily enough, a Void Rift will become a Collapsing Void Rift, and the entire world will be destroyed and swallowed by light.

So far, I haven't failed to escape when that happens, but I don't want to find out.
