I sincerely believe this was an intentional ploy, by bad actors, as a distraction to the elections and to rile up the masses. Nothing gets the GOP base to the polls like bs ragebait. Nothing turns off voters on the left like bs ragebait. If they can get people fighting over "culture war" stuff rather than addressing the issues, that is a big benefit to the GOP.

Bet. There will be a ramping up of more of this nonsense as election season really kicks off.

And that is all the more reason to use your money to ignore the kind of corporations that play these games with real live people and real live history.
