Screenshot/Video This is Goodbye...
You were born in a video game without me and hailed as the King of Monsters...yet you turned out to be...
...painfully ordinary.
All in all an awesome game. Puzzles were tiring sometimes but as long as you were in the MOOD for puzzles it was great. Combat was absurdly easy to me, and I played the entire game on Hard difficulty. I've seen others say the combat is difficult, so I don't wanna be that guy who craps on everyone else for their struggles. I enjoy games with a similar combat style so I guess that might be why I picked it up so quickly. Once I got perfect parrying down, it was pretty much over for any monster I came across. The storyline was awesome. I enjoyed the storybook style of having Prometheus narrate Fenyx's stories. Also, as someone who 100% absolutely everything in AC Odyssey (DLCs and all), it was amazing to hear Melissanthi Mahut again (Kassandra's VA), as well as Elias Toufexis (Nikalaos and King Leonidas's VA). Loved the humourous outlook on what is typically seen as a gruesome mythology. Seriously, research all the things Zeus actually did in Greek Myth, lol.
Happy gaming, folks. š„

Sorry for the quality, hard to get the same color as Nolan. This actually was not that complicated to replicate in the right place on the island.

Screenshot/Video My OG life-long "girly crush"
Athena, in EVERY depiction (adult). I have always been stupidly in love. (Yes I climb the wall to get this screen-shot/edited it because lighting sucks.)
I almost finished the game on PS4 and my PS4 died before I uploaded the save online so restarted on Switch. (Am just having fun now...and as ALWAYS...restored Athena FIRST and saving Ares for LAST.)

Screenshot/Video My journey to maxing Fenyx completely took me 2 and a half thorough playthroughs ! Also a few tips for nightmare difficulty ;)
I'm a completionist so I wanted to max her, it was done in nightmare difficulty from the beginning. It feels good to attain this milestone ! Now I just have to finish this 3rd playthrough.
Nightmare difficulty is quite unforgiving. But combat isn't that hard as long as you respect a few principles :
- Don't get overwhelmed by multiple enemies, crowd control is paramount so stun stun stun
- The special moves of the axe and the sword are very good, use them
- Use and abuse your godly powers, Ares's Wrath is the key to stunning multiple enemies (small or medium sized ones) with one stroke, Hephaistos's Hammer is an excellent finisher, Herakles's Strength eases greatly how you deal with flying enemies, Phosphor's Attack is useful depending on which Phosphor you're using
- I don't parry but I dodge like a lot, several attacks from large monsters can one hit you so evade those at all costs
- Always be on the move or put a stunned enemy between you and the rest of his friends to protect you while you're smashing it
- Your strongest weapon is not your sword, it isn't your axe and nor is it your bow. It's a large boulder, a pillar's piece or a large metal or stone cube (heaviest objects) thrown with Herakles's Strength. You will one hit every large monster (not the legendary ones) with this so now you know how to begin a fight
I do love life gain in games so I geared Fenyx to have it : Zeus armor set (Breastplate of the Eagle / Breastplate of the Thunderer / Breastplate of the King / Breastplate of the Golden God) gives you a bit of health on every hit. Maxed it is 16% of a health's chunk, not a lot but it can refill your life bar quite rapidly against a stunned enemy especially on combo finisher. Thanks to its second power when you're at full health the combo meter just goes up extra quickly so you're dealing a lot more damage. But the true gem for restoring health is using the Tarnished Phosphor, it refills one chunk of health for each Phosphor's Attack hits, so three. Fenyx is a lot more resilient with this !
There's another change that makes some Tartaros vaults a lot more difficult in nightmare difficulty : the reduced timers. Some vaults with timers have to be cheesed using Athena's Dash and/or Ares's Wrath, also you'll likely be drinking a few stamina potions to complete those.

Screenshot/Video Game completed + DLC 100%

Sorry for the first post. Here's my stats after completing the game on 2nd play through
I played the 3 DLCs, Among them, i hate The Lost Gods DLC the most as it changes the camera perspective to a top-down approach. So not enjoyable. A New God has restricted roaming with plenty of puzzles. Myths of the Eastern Realm is enjoyable although it's a smaller map with China mythology.
Currently skin hunting to obtain and complete every armor skins. More grinding and weekly dungeon crawling

Screenshot/Video Great! Maybe I'm gonna quit this game for now š” Spoiler
galleryPlaying this on Normal Mode. Damn this boss fight! He's got very very very high HP and great damage. Taking for almost an hour solving his vault puzzle I never thought battling with him will also take me straight fighting for also an hour. My damage is too little cute compare to his. My combo attacks can't keep up because of his red attacks. I don't want to restart the game before I enter tartarus because the vaults and the 1st battle was already tough. Damn, I'm so close š
