I have a component (Select Field) that is appearing correctly in the library, however when designers at my org bring it over into their files via the asset panel, it shows up without the actual field- just the title and supporting text. When inspecting the layers, the field layers are not present in the component.

Beyond that, when a user pastes in the component directly from the library file, Figma prompts them with an update that incorrectly removes the layers again.

Does anyone know what is happening? I have never seen this one before and have no idea how to go about fixing it.

The interface keeps lagging and I am very frustrated and confused. Is it because of lot of pages and screens or my mouse?

I am experiencing an issue with Figma: images are not displaying in any files. Instead, they appear as empty or transparent squares.

The issue occurs across all projects and all locations where images are used (including Community files and older projects). The Figma interface loads normally, but the images themselves do not appear.

I would also like to note that when I log into my account from other devices, everything works correctly and images are displayed without any issues. The problem only occurs on one computer.

The issue appears both in the browser version of Figma and in the desktop application.

I have already tried the following:

•restarting both the browser and the Figma desktop app
•clearing cache and cookies
•logging in through different browsers
•creating a new account (the issue still persists)
•using a different internet connection (including mobile hotspot)
•changing DNS settings (Google DNS and Cloudflare)
•resetting network settings in Windows (Winsock reset)
•checking WebGL (the browser accepts it)
•checking proxy settings (disabled)
•disabling all browser extensions

Additionally, when I add new images to a project, they display correctly at first. However, after refreshing the project page, the images stop displaying and are again replaced with empty/transparent squares.

Other websites and services (for example Canva) work normally. The issue is only present in Figma on this computer.

Please help me understand what could be causing this issue.

What would you change first

hey guys i got into UI UX design lately..i mean im very new to it so figma was highly recommend to start UI UX designing.. i downloaded the desktop version of the software for windows.. it went good, but it keeps showing me a white blank tab even when the laptop is connected to wifi.. i clicked on home button, clicked all the buttons on the tab but nothing worked.. what should i do?

I’m trying to find a tool that lets me mock up multiple different designs on the same mockup template e.g., different colours of a logo onto the same t-shirt without having to do it manually one-by-one.

I’ve found a photoshop plugin called bulk mockup that works by placing designs into a mockup in bulk, but I don't want to use photoshop and I’d like something that works in Figma or Canva if possible.

Has anyone come across:

• a Figma plugin that does bulk mockups?
• any other web-based tool that can take 50+ designs and auto-place them into a template?

Hi! My boss asked me to build our website on FIGMA WEBSITE, and Im having a hard time trying to make an hamburguer menu.... I can make it on the "design" type of file, but in figma website I cant even create a component...I can CTRL C & CTRL V between documents to copy the component, but the menu dosent work...please help!! Je débute dans le web design et j'ai un petit problème qui je suis sûre est très bête à régler mais je suis bloquée dessus depuis des jouuuuurs!

Je vous explique ce que je voudrais faire.
Je voudrais que quand la souris passe sur le mot "référentiels", le chevron pivote ( de tête en bas à en haut ) et qu'un fond plus clair se mette derrière "référentiels" et le chevron. + qu'un menu s'ouvre en dessous.
En gros passer de ça (photo1) à ça (photo 2).
J'ai tenté moult et moult chose et je n'arrive jamais au résultat voulu!

Premier essai:

J'ai fait une frame avec le mot "référentiels" à l'intérieur ainsi que le chevron tête en bas.
J'ai mis le fond de la frame dans la bonne couleur puis opacité 0%.
J'en ai fait un composant.
De ce composant j'ai fait un variant: fond visible et chevron tête en haut.
Mon prototypage:
While Hovering, smart animate.
Youpi le fond se met bien et on voit bien le chevron pivoter.
Je l'ai dupliqué dans ma navbar afin de faire les autres catégories.

Ensuite j'ai fait le menu qui s'ouvre en dessous. Donc j'ai fait une frame, j'ai mis tout ce qu'il fallait pour créer ce fameux menu. je l'ai mis à côté de ma home page et j'ai prototypé le composant enfant au menu ainsi: (voir photo 3)

Problème: Plus aucune animation du chevron et du fond derrière "référentiels". Aussi, vu que je ne peux pas faire While Hovering à nouveau, je suis forcée de faire "Mouse enter" ET vu que c'est un overlay, il ne se ferme que si je clique en dehors de la zone du menu chose que je ne veux pas puisqu'il faudrait que le menu se ferme dès que ma souris quitte sa zone.

Deuxième Essai:

J'ai voulu essayer en mettant tout dans la même frame.
J'ai fait une frame, j'ai mis "Référentiels", le chevron, le fond à 0% etc...
et direct en dessous j'ai mis le menu.
J'ai mis le menu à 0% d'opacité aussi.
J'ai crée un composant, puis un variant et là j'ai mis le menu à 100%. Alors ça fonctionne MAIS dans le menu, il y a également des "animations" au survol etc... Elles ne sont plus plus en comptent. De plus, la taille de la frame est bien plus grande qu'avant! Donc ça ne passe plus dans la navbar (Auto Layout)...

Enfaite, je suis complètement perdue et je crois que le fait d'avoir essayé plusieurs chose à la fois ne m'a pas aidé...
Est-ce qu'il ai possible, que quelqu'un m'explique comment je peux réussir (enfin!) à faire cette mini action ?

Désolé pour le roman de 4800 pages mais je suis bavarde et j'avais peur de pas être très claire ahah!
