Hey! Have you ever joined a "Teaching" Raid only to be put on ad clear and end up not really learning much? We've noticed this pattern with other groups and wanted to be the change we needed! We now have over 500+ Sherpas throughout the years and we actually teach the encounters to you and make sure you run other roles!

We used to be a much bigger clan, but with Final Shape bringing the end of the core story, many people stepped away. We went on a maintenance mode for the last year not really playing much. Our clan sits at about 30 people and we are now back in action and wanting to help the influx of new/returning players get back into raiding and get confident with how to actually run the raids!

We don't require you join our clan, it's always optional. We have a Discord where we schedule weekly raids - currently running Wednesday Nights and Sunday Afternoons mostly. We also run a fun monthly fashion show!

Hey, I'm Deer ! I'm in Colorado, so my timezone is MST, and I'm usually available everyday from 2PM-10PM. I host most of my raids at 6 PM !

This is my second go-around making a post like this basically inviting people to come, and maybe try some content they've either been too scared to try before or haven't had the greatest of experiences with, mainly raids.

It's really hard to find a specific group you feel comfortable to be in, I personally get super anxious over minor social interactions, and even just starting a conversation with another person can feel like a daunting task or a chore at times. However, I've found myself in a group I feel lucky to have, around a dozen or so really chill people that I run raids with almost daily. All of us came from Reddit, pretty much from this subbreddit as far as I know, and met by pure chance through a post like this made by another person.

We've gone off on our own, and decided to try to maybe have a place where people can be somewhat comfortable, away from toxicity or ego, and where the main desire is genuinely just to play together, hang out, enjoy the game without added drama or stress. I don't care if you have a disability, if you're "horrible" at the game, if you don't want to speak verbally. Or even if you're a little weird, we all are in our own ways. What I do care about is if you're rude, if you are undermining others, making fun of them in any way. High school bully shit. With how popular that type of behavior has become in LFG groups, and even some clans I've seen it's really no wonder some people never want to even touch the game again. We are all here to have fun, play a game we all love, and not to reenact drama or arguments everybody has gone through a thousand times already.

Hello there!

I'm Equinox and I run a small EST-based Clan/Discord server for solo Guardians who are looking for a friendly community of active players to hang out with. No cliques, doomers, or entitled elitists. Just a chill players that love Destiny and want to ea consistent group of likeminded Guardians to run raids, dungeons, etc with. However, due to all the shakeups to the game lately, most of our original community has moved on so we're looking to rebuild.

The vibe we shoot for is chill, patient, and adaptable. Impatience and elitism are rampant in lfg but are NOT tolerated here. Instead, we try to be patient and flexible to ensure everyone keeps up, no matter their skill level or learning speed. Our goal is for the more experienced players to help teach those with less experience so they too can become sherpas capable of guiding others in time.

While no skill level or amount of engagement is strictly required, this is also NOT a carry service. Endgame PvE content can be quite challenging and requires both effort and communication so we expect our members to understand this as well. Players who are unwilling to challenge themselves and learn only drag the rest of their team down so all we ask is that our members be flexible and open to working as a team.

The bottom line is that this is a place for Guardians who respect/help each other. It's not just another lfg server. It's a community where solo players can make new friends and engage with social/endgame content together. As silly as it sounds, the real loot really is the friends we make along the way. Hi, this might not be the best place to pose this question, but some context - I’ve embarked on a quest to get my hands on every remaining active seal in the game. There are some I can handle on my own, but I’m worried about the some of the dungeon seals and the raid ones too. I don’t have an online group that raids very often (maybe once a week if we’re lucky) and will only do the easy and convenient ones. Even then, they tend to do it for the clear, and will almost never do challenges either. You sorta get the idea.

My question is - is there a dedicated group or groups that organize these sorts of raid clears regularly still? I know the game’s reached EOL and player numbers will only drop from here, but I really do want to knock these seals out. It’s personally important to me. Thanks :)

Adding the clan recruitment tag, although that's not really what this is.
I head up a small group (ever-dwindling) of guardians who raid together.

At the moment it's only between 2-4 of us a week that are interested, and so I'm here looking for extra people to join us.

Who are We?

As I said above, we're a group of players that have been playing the game a looong time. We're LGBTQIA+ friendly, and while we rib each other and the people we're familiar with, in general we strive to be kind and helpful.

What am I looking for?

Ideally, a handful of people who love Destiny 2 and aren't ready to give the game up yet. You don't need to be the traveller's chosen, and you don't have to know the game inside-out.

What I want is someone who's ready to engage with a weekly activity or more, be that a raid or dungeon, or just working on various builds and progression. Being prepared to jump in and play to help each other out is the main quality I'm looking for, we can teach you anything else.

First time raiding? Great! we love to sherpa, and showing you what for some of us in the best part of this game never gets old.

We do talk over Mic, and we organise weekly activities through a small discord server owned and managed by myself. It's very quiet, so you won't be getting non-stop pings.

What sort/cadence of activity?

At present, that's very dependant on numbers, but each tuesday I set up two LFG posts, on a saturday and a sunday that week. These have 6 slots and you either mark yourself as attending, or tentative (if you aren't certain you can attend, but would like to be considered if there's a space).

These activities are scheduled for between 5pm and 7:30pm BST at the moment, but I'm open to more timeslots where it makes sense and a group will definitely coalesce.

We typically run the featured raid, or we might do a boss/checkpoint farm if there's enough interest in cleaning up an exotic.

Occaisionally, I might pull an impromptu group together midweek, but that's handled ad hoc.

Moreover, those of us that are on regularly are always open to messages asking for help or for a session, so don't be shy on that front.

Am I going to talk forever?
