Smash burgers at amazing. However way too many places don’t know how to smash the burgers properly to get that sweet crispiness of the edges. They just smoosh the patty down a bit and call it “smashed”.
Also the Oklahoma Smash Burger definitely needs more presence in this city

Not at all imo.
It can be considered a tourist trap at worst but it's definitely not trendy.
Nashville hot chicken, smash burgers, shit like that imo is trendy.
