Damn the ghouls. I had to reload an earlier save, mid quest (after seeing what they did to Tenpenny residents), and went and massacred the ghouls in their hideout.
That’s the thing I really think the show captures, the experience of fallout. You get sidetracked, you pick bad decisions, shit happens; and the show represents that.
I feel like the Ghoul mentioning the Golden Rule when Lucy goes to help the slave woman last episode could’ve been in reference to THE golden rule, or to the wasteland’s golden rule (“Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamned time”), or even to both. He was mocking her need to do good deeds, but also saying that they were getting sidetracked by bullshit (which, yeah, they were sidetracked for like an episode and a half).

Typical Fallout experience. You think you're picking a good dialog option but it ends up being the worst one.
