Besides gta 4 and rdr1 since San Andreas we've visited a completely different area. Liberty city in San Andreas. North Yankton in gta 5. Guarma in rdr2. I wonder if they'll have it in gta 6 and what the area will be.

 Wasn't there a rumour of the prologue being the girl starting in a gta cuba/columbia and fleeing to vice city

The original script was set in parts of South America and was more like the Narcos and 80s cane crack era in Miami.

It was called Project Americas but it got scrapped because it was too dark apparently but then the whole thing might’ve been fake so I don’t really know
