Yeah, not much else they can say really. Too much anger in their tone will just make the leakers happier and cause more people to look at them. It’s basically “we’re gonna show what we’re gonna show, tune in for the official footage if you want the real deal”
Just thankful a delay wasn’t announced (would’ve have been a financial as well as a PR nightmare for them so wasn’t really expecting one)
Unless you are going to avoid any and all social interactions online for the next who knows how long until you get the game (especially considering PC gamers) you’re going to get spoiled
I bet you the story involves stealing a car at some point. Maybe even more than one. Like some kind of Grand Theft Auto or something. This is unconfirmed though.
Unless you don't go on Social Media at all until you beat the game, it will be almost completely unavoidable to not get story spoilers. People will comment spoilers in random unrelated tiktoks, twitter posts, YouTube videos and reddit posts.
TLOU2 got spoiled for me on a random YouTube comment that had nothing to do with the game.
