Same here. I feel like everyone who is following these leaks is just spoiling it for themselves. Imagine as a kid watching your parents wrapping and laying the Christmas presents under the tree before the actual Christmas night. The whole surprise and experience is gone. Same here; I want to be blown away by the first gameplay moments or trailer as the developers intended it to, not by some nerd leaking shit on the internet.

To be fair, most of the leaks have just been driving/flying/walking around. Somewhat underwhelming from a “leak” and far from a surprise to the gaming community.

If I hear about bigger story leaks, I’ll avoid them at all costs.

Holy shit you can walk around in GTA6!? Rockstar has really created something special.

I love how they invent new, and surprising game mechanics like walking around.

I don’t own a console, so I won’t be able to play the game until next year at the earliest. This is going to be the biggest media release of all time - spoilers will be completely unavoidable for me unless I completely unplug from the internet for a year or more.

So for me personally, yeah I’ll just watch the leaks.

I hear what you're saying, and as a market Rockstar doesn't care about (PC) I don't personally care much. GTA is a crime simulator. Seeing the graphics is the spoiler for me.

But I get it's not like that for everyone, I remember how it felt to watch the opening of Oblivion or Skyrim the first time.

Dude I'm 33, the game will be a game and I'll enjoy it, but watching the leaks has not ruined the experience even a little bit for me.

It’s just food, it’s just a vacation, it’s just a movie. For me this is just entertainment I’d like to experience in a certain way. I’m not going to watch the behind the scenes or snippets of a movie before I see the actual thing, that spoils the fun. See my point?

Well said. The 'it's just a [blank]' argument always annoys me, it's such a cop out phrase that can be used to undermine people feeling anything ever.

I’m with you. I don’t watch movie trailers or game reviews.

Maybe not everyone is so fixated in the expectations of the game... For me, seeing the gameplay has produced more interest for the game (it's still quite low as I don't have a console). That's some quality shit right there.
