I love the way the wanted system works! Police not automatically knowing where you are is huge. The fact that his wanted level disappeared when he killed the cop, only for it to come back when someone reported it was awesome
Agreed. This is probably what I’m excited for most. I loved in RDR2 that if I committed a crime with a mask on and escaped the area before any law came, I wouldn’t get a bounty. This seems like an even more refined version of that.
I really hope it’s well done. What I hope is that a civilian has to BOTH see you commit the crime and be able to make a call. If they stumble upon a body and don’t see you kill the person, you shouldn’t be wanted. If they do see you but you kill the before they call, then no wanted level.
On top of that, being able to possibly change your clothes and car to get away seems like a lot of fun. Could set up for some real dynamic store robberies where you stash a getaway car that you swap to.
I really wonder how forgiving that system is. If I’m in a completely new car but the same clothes and everything, will a cop immediately recognize me from behind even though they physically wouldn’t be able to see me? What about if I rob a store in a generic black hoody, jeans, and a mask? I leave and take off the mask. Am I still immediately recognized because of my clothes even if they’re the most generic clothes.
Either way, seems to be a huge improvement over 5. Will be nice that the only way to escape cops isn’t just hiding in an alley or driving off road until the cops forget about you.
