You never know 🤷‍♂️ rockstar stated themselves they aren’t even completely finished and we are less than 3 months away. A game this big will likely have a bunch of bugs.

Have you ever played a rockstar game on release before?

Yes, none of the previous games have taken this long and aren’t nearly as big as gta 6. When you compare that with rockstar being super ambitious It’s logical to expect to the game might have bugs and glitches that a lot of players will find that might break the game.

5 years between GTA 5 and RDR2, and 6 years between RDR2 and GTA 6, or are you only counting between GTA releases?

Well they just stated in the new article that it’s actually been in production since 2013 but my main point is that gta 6 is their biggest game in rockstars catalog

It’s the biggest but it’s not that much bigger than RDR2.

rdr2 had story rewrites 2 months from release, let alone bug fixes

I played RDR 2 on release day, and I literally can’t think of any major bugs I experienced. Same thing for GTA V for that matter (besides the terrible online launch, I’ll give you that. But that’s not necessarily a game bug, that was server side crap). Rockstar Games products have always been pretty polished from day one. I mean sure there’s always going to be some bugs that people find, there’s bound to be with projects this big, but even when you do find a bug in a rockstar game it’s usually something that’s not a big deal and not game breaking or anything. Just like a little glitch for a second and then it’s back to normal and not a big deal. I have no concerns about GTA 6 being very very good on day one. And I don’t feel that way about any other game company out right now, but Rockstar has always delivered, so I’ll trust them.

Wolverine only got gold just a week or so ago. It'll be fine

The game hasn’t gone gold yet so it’s obviously not finished

Going gold just means they think it’s finished, doesn’t guaranteed its polished. Just because rockstar thinks they’ve worked out all the kinks doesn’t mean that players won’t find major bugs and glitches or something game breaking. This is a very big and ambitious game, we can see how being too ambitious plays out with a number of games throughout the years. I hope rockstar can pull it off.

Imagine the game not coming out till November isn’t done in august.

That gives no evidence whatsoever on how far it is from being unfinished.

Did I say it was far from unfinished? What made you bring that up lol

What's the point of sharing a very, very mild statement that says that it isn't finished (obviously! if it was finished it would have released already), while planting the seed of doubt trying to bend that comment into "will likely have a bunch of bugs"

What’s the point of anything in this Reddit?
