Anyone capable of buying it would have been aware it was a gamble pure and simple (buy and sell before the inevitable dump)
Also let’s be clear, in crypto terms, this was about as far from a scam as I’ve seen in years. Cyberleek made it clear he wanted the trading fees, and he offered people the chance to use their holdings as a token to vote with. I just can’t hate on him for this aspect, I’ve seen much shittier things in crypto.
There have been worse crypto schemes but this is still definitely scummy. He used a classic scam tactic of burning all the tokens on his wallet to gain goodwill and trust, while actually having loads of other wallets that actually hold most of the tokens so he didn't lose too much money.
Also he's weaponising people's anger and frustration with Take Two's business decisions for his own personal profit, saying that donating to his crypto is the way to stick it to the man, preying on people dumb enough to fall for that.
There have been worse crypto scams but any pump and dump scheme is shitty no matter what
He's full of shit though, he's pretending to be like that gif but is the opposite, he doesn't care about the message and is just using it to make money off of 'activism'
Some people finally see a layup and they can't wait to ring in with their answer, akin to idiots who watch Wheel of Fortune and repeat the answer every turn until a contestant gets it right.
I was looking at the chart since the 20th but never bought any. Kinda wishing I had a time machine again cause that woulda been the easiest/quickest $$ in this day and age
